Cauli This is a Diary for Nori Cake.
It sounds so super interesting, very excited about her!
Description from Breeder:
„The Nori Cake gets its name from the famous Japanese algae used in snacks and sushi all over the world, it is a very exciting variation of flavors that will make all the Kush Lovers happy. This plant is a cross of the Kush Mint from Seed Junky, known for its potency and strong taste, with our Wonder Pie and its strong OG Kush background. The Nori Cake grows in a strong plant that develops vigorous secondary branches, with dense and big flowers. The effects are strong and fast, and it is recommended for experienced smokers, rather than beginners. It will give you the munchies and red eyes for a while, making it perfect to enjoy a movie night.
EFFECTS
The effects are strong and fast. As you exhale the first puff, you will notice the earthiness and a potent buzz that will fill all your muscles and create a heavy feeling in your extremities. It is recommended for experienced smokers, rather than beginners. It will give you the munchies and red eyes for a while, making it perfect to enjoy a movie night.“
Setup will be:
– Spider Farmer 90 x 90 x 180 pro tent
– Mars Hydro FC 1500 Evo for germination, veggie and maybe early flowering phase
– Mars Hydro FC 3000 Evo
– AC Infinity CLOUDLINE PRO S6 with carbon filter for fresh air
– AC Infinity CLOUDRAY S6 for air movement
The chosen seed germinated after around five days directly in substrate.
She will grow in a 0.5l pot for the first days, then switch to a 3l pot around week two and find her final home in a 12.5l airpot sometime.
One Love 💚

Cauli First week for little Nori Cake.
Everything is going smooth so far.
The pots were watered once before germination with around 100ml water (with a bit of power roots) from the bottom, this will easily last for a few days.
Lamp is at 30cm distance wit 20W power.
Temperatures are quite low at day and night and so is humidity.
Spraying her with water a few times a day and having a big wet towel in the tent helps a bit.
Well, it is like it is.
For now she looks quite happy with everything :)

Cauli Week number two for Nori Cake.
Just growing slowly but steady and looking healthy and happy so far :)
Lamp intensity was increased to 30W and distance was also increased a bit.
She got a new pot with 3L this week. It has been watered before transplanting from down with around 0.8l with some nutrients in the water.
This will last for a few days and soon main lining will be started. Super excited already about her progress!

Cauli Week number three already for this Nori Cake.
She found her way to her final home, a 12.5l air pot. Maybe it was too soon, but wanted to start cutting the Ladies soon and well – everything was timed a bit bad and here we are :)
Next time the 3l pots will be skipped. It's super annoying to transplant the ladies from them into the bigger air-pots …
Nori Cake is growing a bit slower but looking healthy and beautiful.
Let's see if she will get a main lining too or just be topped next week.

Decided to not Mainline but just top her and also remove everything under the third node.
Let's see if there will be some additional cuts before flowering… not sure yet :)
Just watered once and raised lights intensity to around 60W.
Next weeks will sure be very interesting with her :)

Cauli Already week number five for Nori Cake.
She did respond quite well to the topping. Did a little clean up in the middle and looks like she will grow a nice and even bush.
Switched the lamps already to get a more even illumination. distance was increased a bit and intensity raised to around 100W.
Let's give her about two more veg weeks and then let the fun beginn :)

This week was a pleasure to see how the ladies enjoy the stable time without any cuts, a good amount of light and food.
She really thrives and grows a beautiful little bush. She got not much space for now – but it's quite sure that one plant will leave the tent, so she can spread better soon.
Will definetely need a little deflation before flowering :)

Cauli Week number seven and the last week of Veg for Nori Cake.
Unfortunately this Lady had to suffer a bit this week.
Think after watering when she was put back the wire holding down one of her main branches got caught somewhere.
Didn't recognize it, but the next day one branch was hanging down a bit. Was too late to fix it, so it was cut.
It's a pity because she lost that super prefect and nice form, but she will handle it for sure!
One of the Sticky Broccolis got her own tent, so now there are four plants in the 90x90 tent like we've planned in the beginning.
Light will be flipped to 12/12 next week and very excited, how this will change her appearance.
Let's see soon, how she will do in flowering mode :)

Cauli Week number eight for Nori Cake – and the first week of 12/12.
The lights switched exactly on day 50 and now it's time to be a little patient.
Let's give her a few weeks to find her final form and only help her with some good food, plenty of light, some nice words and stable conditions.
It's still a bit crowded, so she's growing more angular than round now.
Light intensity was increased to 150W and despite watering and watching there is not much to do right now.
Really looking forward to the next weeks :)

Cauli Week number nine for Nori Cake.
It's twelve Days since the light switches to 12/12 and this lady is in full stretch mode!
Her feeding is slowly changed to flowering nutrients and she seems to like it a lot.
Definitely needs a heavy defoliation before bulking phase – almost can't wait for it.
But jus staying patient the next days and waiting till the stretch is over.
Really a pleasure to watch her grow!

This one is growing so super solid. Still a bit sad she lost one of her main branches, but nether less has a nice form and structure.
Did cut some branches and leafs this week, now she has to do her thing and really looking forward to the next weeks with her :)

Day 26 of 12/12.
Looks like the stretch is over and she can now focus on stacking up some buds!
Full Bloom Feeding now and light was raised to around 250W this week. Rebuild the towers a bit so all plants are almost the same height now.
Aaaand – it's a pink one! Woohoo, super excited about this.
Isn't she just magnificent?
Despite watering not much to do – just being patient and falling head over heels in love with her :)

She's just doing her thing and despite some watching and watering there wasn't much to do this week :)
Really love this phase of a plants life, when all the work is showing in a steady progress and the most needed thing is patience.

Cauli Week sixteen for Nori Cake
Day 62 of 12/12.
This will be her last week and she will be harvested next week.
She is a really super special one. looking so fabulous and smelling very very unique – she got a very deep earthy, pepper and pungent smell with a soft fruit note like mango or something like this.
So Interesting!
She got very dense nuggets down all the way.
You will see better when some fan leafs are cut off next week.
very excited about the final result!
