I'll let her bounce back from that then comes a good defoliation the switch to flower. My plan is to have as an even canopy with about 8-10 colas. That's about it for this week. Fragrances are really starting to develop this week. Both phenotypes smell differently. Leia has more of an earthy vibe going on so far while Maz smells straight up like candy! 🍬 Leia's yellow pistils are still stretching like crazy and her buds are nice and stacked. The bud structure on the Maz phenotype are very reminiscent of the Skywalker OG that was the mama for this cross. It's really cool to see and appreciate the differences. I changed my watering practices from 1 gallon every 6 days to 1/2 gallon every 3-4 days. The plants have seemed much happier with the change. 😉

This week my LSD-25 that I mainlined is having issues, I wasn’t too sure if it was heat stress cause tents temps have gone up to 83 the highest and hovers around high 70’s all week, or if it was a calcium issue, potassium, or nute burn. Either way they’re looking CRISPY lol. The other LSD-25 that was just LST, is actually doing quite well with none of those same problems. I flushed out the burnt plant with some regular PH’d water to see if it had any effect and then finished with some soluble gypsum. Other than that the last 2 plants are doing great and chugging along!

Giving Alien Vs Triangle a second try after my first started showing signs of herming (bananas). Planted the seed directly in soil and she sprouted in 5 days. I'm not going to do HST bending as I did with the first one. I know I accidentally went overboard with HST the first time and that most likely caused her to herm out. I want to get her to harvest as quickly as possible so just going to do some light defoliation and a FIM pinch on this girl. The first AVT smelled insanely good when I chopped her, I'm looking forward to bringing this one to a proper harvest. 👍 My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Would definitely grow this strain again with some lst work and a large pot from the start I would hope to double the yeild atleast. I'm a fan of the chunky buds atm and this plant has some nice chunky buds! The smell is very earthy and a little bit of sweet. Smooth taste and a pretty heavy high! Buds are super sticky. I have heard alot about fastbuds and I will continue to purchase there seeds! If it wasn't for mars hydro and there affordable products I wouldn't be here!

Late flower get ready

They look fine so far, let's move on...

07/23/24. Going into week 4 flower. It seems stretch has now concluded. Buds are starting to grow and most branches have reached up through the trellis. Not all is as even as I’d like, but pretty good considering there’s no mainline, which I’m told is really the way to accomplish such. Am noticing some deficiencies and will address them. This girl has always wanted massive amounts of food. She is like 2 plants put together though, so it makes sense now. I read that plants more sativa dominant liked less food, so this is pretty funny. Other than minor deficiency, shockingly, banana is much more well behaved in flower. She was a pain in the ass through veg. Oh! Almost forgot, I did clean up small branches and leaves from underneath like 2 days ago when it seemed stretch had stopped. Light was also dimmed to 50% from about 70. Looked as though some tips of hairs were curling, which I assumed was light related. It has since stopped.

This week is almost the same as last week. Did some LST and Defoliation. Got rid of some stuff close to the plants so now they have more space. They started to smell so I have to buy some other plants as well like the Jasminum polyanthum, because I don't want any complaining neighbours.

i should have vegged these clones longer and not defoliate so much, but overal the grow has gone smooth and amazing smell after week 5 whoa

Into their second week of flowering and holy hell. The dark devil is going crazy !!! I can't believe at how fast it's flowering. The buds seem to double in size daily. I am going to boost the feeding to every other watering. Instead of the every third day feeding them. The dark devil i mainlined seems to be on the exact same schedule as the control plant her flowering period happened pretty quickly idk if i would mainline again.

4cm vertical growth this week. Next couple of weeks we will see if she likes her soil or not....

hey folks! dont have enough height, so decided to dim down the cobs a little bit, from 2100 to 1450 approximately, bloom is going very well, keep waiting ;)
