The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Day 132 - 22.09.2020 - Pic updates. Now that my other plant got the boot, this lady has more space. I put up the trellis net to move the branches slightly and get better light penetration. Day 134 - 24.09.2020 - Pic updates. Her lower leaves are starting to yellow which is concerning. I am keeping an eye on her. Day 138 - 28.09.2020 - Pic updates. So definitely concerned. I went out and got the items I needed to start brewing a compost tea as she was yellowing more and looking a bit sad. Even though all my nutes have been given and the PH is right, I do not know why she is having these issues, but I am hoping a nice compost tea will get her back. Other than that she needs to put on more weight. But of the little buds that are there, they are dense as can be. So I am happy with what I see quality wise so far. I will be checking her in more detail later to see what the trichomes are doing, but when I checked quickly we were still very clear.

Zkittles is on grotek final flush strawberry I trying if it change her smell and she is good now, but I fed her week ago with rocket fuel some fertilizers for peppers (11-6-8) coz im was out with bloom fertilizer, Amnesia 3 get this feed too but little bit improvemed with bio grow and rest of biobloom, yesterday I bought Powder Feeding PK booster/mineral and thats should be good. More later after some smoke :D

Lots of growth and flower development over the last week. The smell is starting to come through, but I've been congested, and can't really pinpoint any particular aromas yet. Gave each plant 1TBSP Bloom fertilizer and wet top of soil down w/recharge on Saturday and have been slowly removing lower bud sites throughout the week.

Critical x Animal Cookies just got switched to ph water 4 days ago. I have her schedule to harvest in about 8 days. She grew well under the Hortibloom Solux 350. It was grower error that she is small. I will still get some frosty buds from her. Everything is looking great. We are starting the cultivation of a new, fast-growing strain Creamy Beast Turbo Feminized from Seeds Mafia. The seed was germinated in a paper towel and sprouted within 24 hours. Afterward, we carefully planted it in a 1.6-liter pot filled with a specially prepared soil mix: 50% soil, 10% perlite, and 35% coco substrate. The daytime temperature is 28°C, nighttime temperature is 21°C, and the humidity is maintained at 65%. The light schedule is set to 18/8. A big thank you to Seeds Mafia for providing the seeds, we're excited to see how it develops!

Topped the plants this week. I think the soil got a little too dry on the Dos-si-dos toward the end of the week. It started wilting. Keeping a close eye on soil moisture. I think I'll need to water more often as the soil this run is predominantly coco coir.

Some of the leaves have been starting to yellow indicating that the plants are now needing a little more feed and are getting towards the end of their life cycle! The smell of the gelato x gmo is overwhelming when I first approach the plants, and the blueberry x mother of Berry is a more subtle sweet/fruity smell.
