Unfortunately, the plant didn't handle my absence very well. It got way too hot inside the greenhouse, and my neighbor was a bit too generous with the nutrients while not allowing enough runoff (drain). I flushed the plant today—the initial runoff was at a critical 2200 PPM, but I managed to flush it down to a stable 800 PPM. I really hope she recovers quickly now. I have to leave for another two-week work trip this coming Monday, so I'm hoping she bounces back by then so I can leave with peace of mind🙈😀

DAY 42 F: Another roasting week in the grow room. Temps have been hitting 37°c still and keeping them watered has been a battle. The water has been taken up instantly and they had built up a little too much nute in the soil. We have a major yellowing of 2 of the middle row plants ( mango x mimosa fast bud cream cookie) They are still building buds but you can see the effort is taking them without the green for photosynthesis. Hopefully they will be fixable over the coming days. The Banana mash are doing well and even with the heat issues , still bud building. They have shaggy looking buds at present but I am confident they will become more solid soon and swell more. They have a pungent banana hit now and they are so tacky to touch too. The mutant #4 has really spread put at the back of the middle row and is producing some nice looking buds too. Purple Monkey continue to make me drool when I handle them and the buds up close look so edible. With their sweet candy smell and pinky/reds , i cant wai to try these out. They are just pushing their second pistil flush so should swell nicely over the next week or so. The heat has not bothered these at all it seems and keeping them nice and areated to avoid mould being able to form has been this weeks task. All fed and watered for the day now . The time has come to pass for this super cool Red poison auto from Sweet seeds. The one bud beauty has been fun from the start. It took as much time trying to figure out what 16oz was in English and then actually find a 473ml cup, as it took this girl to germinate. I've mentioned before it was a picture entry from this this comp previous that drew me to grow diaries in the first place. (Yes I'm a bud slut, don't judge) Back to miss Red P, she has taken the usual beating of me forgetting to water and feed a few days, a neglect that all my plants enjoy at some stage of their lives. She started life in a converted shoe cupboard grow thing and ended her weeks in the main converted wardrobe where alongside the usual cheap LEDs she has had a few doses of the old UVB 10 reptile light. *Giving her a fantastic sugar looking crystal coating. My opinion through some research and personal experimentition* Although nuits problems showed in her leaves in the second half of her growing life and some forgeful watering, they produced some stunning, ever changing colours, which were ironically a nice change to see from the regular grows of green and would probably have been more concerned if it was happening to one of the other girls. The Purple to Red coloured main bud is bigger than the cup itself and weighs a ton. I had to put support in last week to hold her upright. Her leaves look fake and plastic as my wife commented, true too which makes for a nice look I've never seen before. perfect timing on the grow time although I could have harvested earlier to be fair but the bud just kept getting bigger and well, you know. .. As of writing I've not posted the root pics but will soon.. . Honest... I just like looking at her for now.. . Every now and then a quick admiring close up look at them buds..... I just don't want to part with her yet ok. give me time!

End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.

Here we go! This should be an epic run! Hella Jelly by Humboldt. A rare sativa strain nowadays with a 45 day flowering cycle. If you know me, I'm in love with the Orange Creamsicle x Hella Jelly cross. I've run it twice now so I know I'm gonna love the parent genetics. This is under the Medic Grow Mini-Sun-2. (technically, writing this on 9/19..sshhhhh): not too many updates again - still thickening up and getting foxtaily so i've decreased the light intensity. I cut a small tester nug as you can see (ended up being about 1.5g dry) and dryed it for several days. I was too impatient so i defintetlely broke in a little early, but hey, that's what a tester bud is for, right? I vaped part of it and took one bong rip, and it's amazing y'all...the terps!!! THE TERPSSS!! I really hope I can preserve them when I cure this time. It's seriously like a watermelon candy now, and the effect was very clear-headed and relaxing - great for day vibes. Also, can't remember if I said this or not, but I started just giving plain tap water since they're both clearly near the end. Da ich eine meiner PB ihrem natürlichen Zyklus überlasse, was bedeuten sollte das sie frühestens Oktober fertig wird, diese aber mit Ihren Wurzeln den kompletten Topf eingenommen hat, musste Sie in einen größeren Topf umziehen und hat jetzt 25L Platz. Meine 12-12 Dame ist schwer in der Blüte und entwickelt ein tolles Fruchtaroma. außerdem wohnt seit kurzem ein Marienkäfer in der Pflanze und befreit sie von Schädlingen😍An Tag 58 habe ich mich dazu entschlossen meine 18-6 Pflanze zu Toppen und werde das auch mehrfach wiederholen da ich befürchte, dass ich sonst, wenn die Pflanze in den Stretch geht mit der Höhe meines Gewächshauses nicht hinkommen😊

Purple Lemonade is truly giving us a lot of satisfaction. It has reacted very well to all toppings and is now a very nice bush at the beginning of flowering. In addition, the structure is very particular because after the first topping, the central brunch, to which we made the topping again, has grown again. The result is this great beautiful bush, as I said, beautiful, healthy, green in color, it continues to grow even in bloom. It is a strain with not many leaves but we are defoliating something from below.

What a beast! The main bud has really plumped up and looks absolutely gorgeous. I’ve trimmed off a few of the larger leaves. It smells delicious and looks very healthy.
