Getting ready to harvest one of the Purple Trainwreck plants next weekend. I’ve decided to harvest the mother plant this weekend and wait another week for the clone plant. Plants have been getting straight water for a little over a week. I did go ahead and harvest popcorn buds off the mother PT plant last week. I have struggled with getting the humidity below 50-60% in my tent so that being said, I also wanted to thin out the middle of the plant so the larger colas wouldn’t be blocked from light. The buds on numerous stems were touching and starting to stick together. I don’t want to get bud rot on any of my larger colas. Total harvest off the mother PT so far: Wet weight with stems: 3.75 Ounces Dry without stems: 30 grams Day 60-harvested another 1.25 wet ounces... not dry yet I have not touched the PT clone that’s in flower, I have another PT clone in my veg tent for clones. I also harvested some smaller buds off the Widow X Plant. I have two clones of this plant in my veg tent. Wet with stems: .75 ounces or 21 grams Dry without stems: .20 ounces or ~6 gram Harvested another 1.15 wet ounces. Not dry yet Setup: 24”x48”x60” tent Two 1000W Sunraise LED lights 6” Vivosun inline fan Two clip fans Plants are in 5 gallon cloth pots with happy frog soil and perlite. Nutrients: Fox Farm Dirty Dozen I have learned a lot with this grow, I’m excited to see how my future grows turn out. I have started a perpetual grow and have a second tent with vegetative plants. The newly flowering plant that was added to the flowering tent last week is a purple trainwreck clone. I think it will be quite the monster once it’s done. I have been essentially lollipopping this plant but not entirely. Any feedback appreciated!

They are sharing the deck with the big Durban Poison photoperiods, soaking up that high-altitude Colorado sun, and stepping right into their own spotlight now that the new deck infrastructure is fully operational. Key Milestones This Week 1. Dialed In with the New Halos Just like the photoperiods, Charlotte and Makayla got their first taste of the newly completed DIY automated irrigation manifold this week. The Treatment: The green hose irrigation halos coiled inside the rims of their 10-gallon bags worked flawlessly. The Impact: The sisters received a thorough, uniform 15-minute soak. Getting that edge-to-edge moisture spread across the containers is going to be a game-changer for keeping the organic living soil evenly charged, especially as the summer wind starts to pick up on the plains. 2. Height Check & Structure (Featuring Charlotte) Autoflowers move on their own rapid timeline, and keeping them tight, stocky, and structurally sound is the main goal out here on the exposed deck. Current Height: Pulled the tape measure out to check on Charlotte today, and she is sitting perfectly compact right at the 7-inch mark. Architecture: She is displaying that classic, rugged Northern Lights indica heritage—short internodal spacing, broad fan leaves, and a sturdy main stalk. The top growth tip is perfectly centered and pushing up healthy new growth right above the irrigation line. Wind Readiness: Keeping her this low and close to the soil at Week 7 is a massive advantage against the Eastern Plains gusts. She’s building a thick, solid base rather than stretching out thin. 3. Root Environment & Airflow (The PVC Advantage) Unlike the massive 25-gallon bags on wheels, Charlotte and Makayla are dialed in on custom PVC risers. This gives the 10-gallon fabric bags a rock-solid, stationary foundation while maintaining that crucial air gap underneath. The 360-degree airflow ensures that the bottom roots are air-pruning beautifully, forcing the plants to concentrate a dense, fibrous root mass right where the organic nutrients and halo-delivered moisture are richest, preventing any pooling or stagnant zones at the bottom of the bags. Next Steps Now that the soil is fully charged from their first automated run, we’re going to let Charlotte and Makayla coast for the next couple of days to monitor how quickly the elevated 10-gallon bags dry down in our arid climate. Charlotte is entering a crucial window, and with her and Makayla's roots completely happy, they are primed for steady development.

Todays the day! I actually probably waited to long. I shoulda done it earlier, but we will see how a little LST goes on these units! Lemme work my courage up to it with a few beers. I grasp better the point to LST and how its pulling everything to an even canopy level. I think I did it pretty well, but now I see why you might start it earlier to get those main stems down more. I still don't understand which branches would be better to cut now, I will try to follow how they grow so I can "control" better what is growing. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Another small victory was that the runoff PH was 6.1! Exactly where I want it to be! And I noticed roots growing down at the base of the air-pots so the root-ball has encompassed the whole area! I wasn't sure where the roots where in development. I'm very happy to get LST going, and I'm excited to see these bad-boys pop back!!! __________________________________________________________________________________________ Things look great by the middle of Week 3! the LST went pretty well and they rebounded nicely. I decided to push my luck tonight and after tucking a bunch of leaves decided to adjust the main stalk on a plant and snapped the main stem halfway. I've been assured thinks will be ok, but i'm still mad at myself for forcing it. Gotta be gentle! Will have to watch and see what happens there 😭. I also decided tonight to give the girls some nutrients along with their supplements. easing in to things with 1ml of the GH trio to kick things off a bit earlier than I planned.... Gonna be interesting to see how they take it! So much suspense for the coming days!!!!! ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Thur I went in and removed a couple fan leaves that were blocking nodes. I notice that there is a bit of nitrogen in the leaves so I think Floragrow might have been too much, It might just be best to wait and just add bloom instead. I will monitor... The split stem also seemed to not slow the plant down at all and things have bouced back nicely and everything seems to be on track!

Can't tell if she's trying to flower or not still seems to be responding well to lst had started to drink and feed a lot more so I'll keep LSTing to speed her if she shows more signs or real signs of flower I'll stop. 📓 Cultivation Diary: The 12/12 Flip & Transition Week Pheno#1 going crazy 📅 June 5, 2026 (Veg Day 17) Irrigation/Reservoir: Prepared a full 100L reservoir refresh. Nutrients: Kept the feeding aggressive with a double dose of vegetative nutrition (x2 Nutrient formula) to ensure the root zones and plant tissues are fully stocked with elements before the transition. Canopy Observation:the canopy is thick, uniform, and fully occupying the table space. The trellis net is officially filled out, and the lower branches are strong and rigid. 📅 June 6, 2026 (Day 1 of Flower / Bloom Week 1) The Flip: Officially switched the timers to a 12/12 photoperiod (Lights ON at 6:00 PM / Lights OFF at 6:00 AM). Schedule: First irrigation shot triggers exactly 1 hour after lights on (7:00 PM), followed by a shot every 1.5 hours. Volume: Configured the drip stakes to run for 1 minute per shot, delivering 5 shots total per day. This provides roughly 450ml per plant per day, creating excellent target dry-backs overnight to force vigorous root searching. 📅 June 11, 2026 (Day 6 of Flower / Bloom Week 1) Irrigation/Reservoir: Bumped reservoir capacity up to 110–120L to keep up with increased transpiration as the plants begin their post-flip stretch. Nutrient Recipe (TargetingpH 6.0 EC 2.5 Water: 110–120L Athena Cleanse: 120ml Silica: 220ml (Essential for stem strength during the stretch) CalMag: 10ml Athena Bloom: 600ml (Adjusting base to target 1.2–1.3 EC from Bloom component) Athena Core: 400ml Irrigation Adjustments: Increased the shot duration slightly to 1 minute and 15 seconds to match the accelerating growth pace. The early flowering stretch has officially begun. The tops are noticeably pushing past the trellis net layers, and the node spacing remains tight and stacked. Leaf color is an excellent dark green with healthy, bright yellow-green shoots driving upward at the growth tips. No signs of stress or stalling from the schedule shift.

End of the 4th week of flowering. The buds become fatter and the trichomes spread to the sugar leaves.

Day 142 11/06/25 Wednesday Harvested the Red Gorilla Girl XL today! This run of autos I haven't done any dark period before harvest except, I managed to catch them just as lights were coming on. She has performed amazingly in consideration that she was only in a 2.5L pot. In hindsight, I now know I am able to do a SOG with small auto pots. Making for an exciting next run. Upon harvesting the Red GG XL, The pungent smell of berry, diesel and sweet scents is intoxicating. The buds are dense and compact, with formed calyx's boasting with trichomes. Wet weight on this was 376g of buds. (All wet trim gets dried in hangers and used for making butter later) To my suprise a super easer one to trim, nice size buds with not alot of sugar leaves. She is now hanging drying in a 80x80 tent , with a small fan on low @ netted window entrance, facing down to circulate air from bottom to top. An exhausting fan with carbon filter also runs 2x a day for 1 hour. Again This lasted for 8days before humidity dropped to 49%. I have now put into containers to allow inner moisture to pull through now. After 3-4 more days she will have final trim and placed into Terp Loc Grove Bags to cure. Once curing I shall do a smoke report, dry bud weight, and update journal. Thank you to everyone who followed along for this one, the comments and support! Leaves started to grow bigger so definitely the 10€ light bulb is working, nevertheless I'm expecting to be much slower than what it should take to an autoflower to grow.

Haven’t posted for a while but these babies are doing well despite the neglect from a few weeks. I’m locked back in now! Left is one of the Grandpa’s Cookies, middle is Money Maker, right is the other Grandpa’s Cookies. The GPA Cookie on the left is showing nice purple coloring. The GPA Cookies smell just like the Black Banana ancestry I heard about. Nonetheless both are getting really frosty. The money make is shooting out a lot of dense hairs so I’m not sure of this will translate to denser colas but the stretch was no joke. Here is to another week!

Major changes here at Night Owl summer camp. Have had a rodent problem! Something has figured out a way to get into the dormitory (greenhouse)and had a feast on my plants. Five branches off the Harvey Wallbanger, and two each off the Vanilla Fizz and the 91Grapes. Oh my gosh! I needed to do something else. My wife gave me a spare bedroom for a grow nursery! What a girl I have! So spent the day yesterday moving tents and hanging lights and got the girls all situated in the new dormitory away from some vampire in the night. Will give an individual plant update shortly. ***ok, back. Let’s start with the Harvey Wallbanger. Miss Harvey was on her way to becoming my most interesting grow to date before she was devoured by some creature of the night. She’s a cross of Orange Diesel and Cookie Smasher and even at this early stage of flowering she’s producing a nice glossy sheen and sweet aroma to match. She is a towering 48 inches making her the tallest autoflower that I have ever grown. She is slender and resembles the structure of a clone but I believe her flowers themselves will be massive in size and trichomes production. To date she has yet to make a single leaf with more than five points on it. She is truly interesting. Next let’s explore the Vanilla Fizz. Ms. Fizz didn’t get it as bad as Miss Harvey but suffered significant injuries as well. Loosing two full branches and enough bottom bud sites that the bottom 30 percent is now already cleaned up. She is the bushiest of the three with plenty of growing bud sites. Standing a proud forty three inches tall she comes in last in height but may be stacked up the nicest. Last but certainly not least comes the 91Grapes. Since she received the least amount damage from nightly feastings we are going to feature her until harvest. Only loosing two branches and not much else she was spared from destruction. She is massive!!! Not a massive amount of vegetation just in size over all. She’s 44 inches tall and big enough around for a bear hug. She takes up the entire 40 inch by 40 inch tent all by herself. She was probably spared damage due to her size. Pom poms are everywhere as is evidence of cheerleading practices and she is captain of the squad. Going to have to get a little more creative with the way watering will be conducted in the future. The formula 707 soil is for retaining moisture in outdoor conditions so I am afraid that it will retain moisture indoors and be a pest problem.

Good grown Plant, dense and big buds. And damn the smell is crazy !! It has a really strong kushy smell to it and it has a really nice color also.
