Bueno pues terminando la semana 8 de floración ya hay 4 plantas que hay cortar, estuvimos mirando los tricomas en el directo y efectivamente, todos lechosos incluso vimos bastantes de color ámbar. Así que, ya estoy regando con agua para lavar raíces y en unos días empezamos a cortar. Tendremos que quitar la malla scrog y sacar las plantas para manicura las y ponerlas a secar. 96 días desde que se empezaron a germinar a día 27/04/23

Week 3 of flower So we had a power outtage due to a storm that came through. Lost power from 10a-6p which is most of my day cycle. So there is that. The plants looks really well. Noticed a bit of spotting so I added some cal/mag with my last watering. Buds are hella frosty you can definitely see the Banana Butter cups coming through. Love you all❤️💜💚 Was looking for strong indica dominant strain and after reading and hearing so much about this one. Just couldn't resist to not give a go. Was a bit worried before planting seeds that my final yield outcome may not be satisactionary as only have 0.26msq and Fastbuds advertising this strain as 450-550g msq but thankfuly my result was way above this scale. My 2 beautiful ladies Athena - right corner lady. She was slighlthly more dominant over entire grow cycle. She got more space on scrog earlier and that's why she developed the most. Xena - left corner lady, I belive that she could outgrew her sister if she just have more space and another week of time. Did not expect her to turn so well on the end. Both girls were put in darkness for 48h before chop. Wet trimmed and hang for a week. Daily jars burbing for 10 days and every 2-4 days now. Weights Wet trimmed Athena 870g Xena 632g Total 1502g Dry trimmed Athena 172g Xena 147g Total dry 319g Bubble hash 6g (37g of trims) I am very happy with this result. Aug 24: cool and rainy lately but will warm up again in a couple days. Gorilla Cookies looks really good and is flowering nicely. Very nice strain. Added some soluble seaweed to the water mostly for the K. Don’t take flash pics of photoperiods unless you’re immediately using a 730 nm light to put them into dark mode. Using the far red light like this is known as phyto-forcing and it’s like getting an extra two hours of darkness making a 26 h day. This far north I think it moves flowering up by 3-4 weeks so obviously a huge trick. Easy and cheap if you have daily access at dusk. Aug 26: it’s been a couple of weeks but I figured it was time for a lazy compost tea. I watered with it slightly diluted and the plants look almost immediately greener and more vigorous…amazing actually. 👍👍 Aug 27: this is definitely the fastest flowering of the four. Hopefully it stays sunny for a few more weeks. Thinned out the understory a bit as there were some small branches and bud sites that were not going to do anything. Check out the birds sounds on the first video. The magpies thought I was too close to their nest in the tree or something…they’re usually not quite that annoying. Aug 29: this is a great strain, and the manifold is working its magic.

It’s been a strange week this week, few ups and downs, happy with the leaf development and general health of the girls but i think they might be lacking a bit of height and length between the nodes so I’ve been advised to not increase my wattage just yet and to increase the distance from light. I’ve also in the last couple of days moved them to the outer side of the tent, not like I’m lacking the space lol, in hope that this will encourage them to stretch up and out in search for more light; fingers crossed its a winning combo. Still only feeding water when soils dried up. Will deffo put a couple more plants in next time.

June 14th update Clone#1 Got chopped last week had balls Clone#2 22 inches growing really well. Much like number 4 in terms of verticals growth but significantly less width. Might be good for people who have less square footage but taller tents Clone#3 18 inches. Short and squat. Interesting structure giving what this plant should be. I bet this one will yield small but interested to see how she progresses/smokes Clone#4 28 inches. Massive vertical growth and side branches are trying to take up the whole tent. Will see how it flowers but its body is preparing for a lot of weight. I expect this one to yield huge General Update 3 remaining females growing very nicely. I’ve never actually seen a cannabis plant that looks like this, seems straight out of the early propaganda but I guess it is a land race. Aside from flipping to 12/12 I’ve also turned on the red leds which will help once flowers start forming. I’m going to continue to give just water at this point. I expect the plants to stretch like crazy giving they are pure sativas but we will see especially with the squat one. I’m also going to be putting in some thin sticks to help support the side branching, if I don’t do this once she starts flowering it will start tipping over Mothers/father plants don’t look too happy. That defoliation I did last week did a number on them. I am seeing new growth so they will all recover. Next weekend I’m moving them into slightly larger pots with newer soil too make them happy.
