Morning of day 14- tops look dry but it’s just the very surface. They took a little longer than I wanted to dry out. The weather has been cold windy and rainy, not much sun lately, and we are still about a month away from our potential last frost date. Farmer’s Almanac says last frost date is May 30th or something crazy, even though the days are normally rather warm by now. I haven’t fed as of Day 14 because they are not dry enough, there is plenty of amendments in the pot, especially towards the bottom, except I will still spoon feed a little bit. I just rehydrated the tops as they were really dry at least 1-2 inches of the tops were dry, but the bottoms are still plenty wet, so with clean water in a spray bottle, I just lightly rehydrated the top a lil, so I might be feeding tomorrow for day 15, but I don’t know yet. Keeping the tent around 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and only about 25-30% RH. This helps me compensate for the lack of heat provided by the LEDs and help the plants adapt to a higher water demand. I haven’t seen the low humidity effect the seedlings, intact all the plants that grow outside in the hot bone dry climate LOVE IT! They were praising all last year. So to help keep me away from damping issues and to better prepare the little ones for the outdoors, I’m trying to match a hot and dry environment in the tent. With VPD levels way up in the red, I have yet to experience a negative impact. I have damped off enough plants in my life, it’s a lot harder for me in 60-70%RH to water the plants and get them to dry out fast enough in the tent with cold LEDs.

It’s the eighth week of flowering, and the plant is looking absolutely gorgeous! The buds and leaves have turned a deep purple with rich autumn hues, giving the plant such a unique, almost magical appearance. The sweet smell has become even stronger and fills the whole grow space with a powerful, sugary aroma. 🍬🌿 I’ve noticed the trichomes starting to turn an amber color—just the sign I’ve been waiting for! Most of them are still milky, but the amber hints show we’re getting close. This week, I’ve started the flushing process to clear out any remaining nutrients and prepare for harvest. 💧 Everything’s on track, and I couldn’t be more excited for the final steps! 😁✨

So those girls were transfered from main room, theirs veg story you'll find in Checkpoint diary by Sweet Seeds. In reality they veged for 5 weeks, beans didn't want to sprout, so planted two more. One from first two- didn't make it... Everything with them postponed a bit and i decided to try out other training method and new version/interpretation of FIMing. They got 30 hours of darkness, looked sad a bit, but just 3 hours under new sun - they are happy as f@ck again ;))) Will feed them later today with full range of BioBizz. Will update charts. Day 6. Girls loved food, no big stretch yet ... Happy Growing !!!

June 10: very nice late spring day but the air is too dry for seedlings. To raise the humidity I’m misting the leaves a few time a day. Good for seedlings but also bigger vegetating plants. Check out the owl video. June 14: rain all day. About 50-60 mm so far.

So this and last week was all about dialing and maintaining temperature and humidity.. It's been quite hard to get the precise temperature and humidity because my growing closet is packed...My Gawd.. So she finally has Milky Trichs between the middle of her... The one thing that I wanted to test... So as I mentioned my closet is stacked lol so I decided to Chop off her 2 main Colas..Unfortunately I think my Grow light was placed too close to her canopy.. Which caused the two Main Colas trichomes to turn about 30% amber.. So this is a good trial to see if this will cause the smaller collas to fatten.. Keeping fingers crossed 🤞 🔀

It's the 4th week! Stilling doing the mainlining, for some reason I found myself training the branches to form a bull horn shape, maybe I'll mount it on the wall after this first grow, lmao. I added more CalMag this week, as now I'm thinking the rust/brown spots and tips are from a Calcium deficiency since I am using distilled water. Time to watch these leaves, and if it continues to rust it might be the VPD. Veg22, riego con 3.0 EC y pH 5.9, drenaje promedio de 5.8 pH y 2.6 EC(muy bien), primer riego con Sensizym para limpiar un poco las raíces, y este será el último riego de vegetación con Voodoo Juice, Tarantula y Piranha. Se hizo una pequeña defoliación de las hojas abanico más bajas y se volvió a ajustar el LST, ya van tomando la forma final. Veg23, creciendo bien. Veg24, se mide la temperatura de las hojas 22°C y se compara con la temperatura del indoor 23°C, con una humedad de 50% RH, la calculadora arroja un valor de VPD=1.24 kpa, lo que está dentro del rango óptimo. Veg25, hoy toca una pequeña defoliación y probaré también hacer un último apical en 2 o 3 plantas a modo de prueba. Al final, tomé un gran riesgo, y hice varios apicales extra y una defoliación más grande de lo que tenía en mente, tengo fe que resultará bien 😎👌 Veg27, riego con 0.8 EC y pH 6.0, drenaje de 6.0 pH y EC 2.0, se están alimentando y creciendo bien, quedan casi 2 semanas para pasar el fotoperiodo a 12/12, espero que crezcan suficiente para esa fecha. Veg28, un par de hojas de 2 plantas presentan mordidas tipo oruga, revise y no encontré nada, aplique spray insecticida, espero no siga pasando. A parte de eso siguen creciendo bien, quedan un poco más de 10 días para el paso a 12/12.

Didn't have a lot of time this week so she missed her waterings for a couple of days, also didn't empty the dehydrator so humidity was up a few days. Installed a second cheap blurple led on the side, but doubt this will really help much. Having some trouble keeping temps up as winter is coming and I dont have a heater in my garage

Wow wow wow... Apollo what have you guys made at SweetSeeds... My dear this strain is a monster and a keeper. Do you want regular-sized plants and buds in 8 weeks? No problem! Do you want plants that can handle any condition even as a noob? Check! This beast of a strain is out of this world and I'm over the moon with the results. I can't believe it. Normally I've seen auto's do 30 cms and some buds on top... This is simply alien tech... I think I have never seen any plant grow that fast... This is something to try if you haven't already... Completely amazed... And this is while making all sorts of mistakes: too hot, soil also too hot in nutes and temp, hotspots in tent by lacking fans, less PH buffer. Stuff I learned: - In my climate: at least 20 liter grow pots, maybe bigger. - Add hydro corn, I forgot this - Less bloodmeal and bonemeal - More perma tea since mine is now too old to use, it will rot the earth. - More often more water, in smaller pots - Better ventilation and routing of fresh air. - Light a little higher also during flower. - No training is needed, a little defoliation is enough. Day 80 This morning I started defoliating Tropicana. She will be in the darkness for the next days. I already harvested a part of the head flower and let it dry trimmed. Because of extreme weather conditions and very high humidity I got a little bud rott. I found it out quit early I think. So I hope nothing will not happen any more. Just harvesting relaxed and drink a Tropicana tee. Day 81 I decided to cut her down in the evening. The humidity in the basement room is high and I don‘t want to risk here anything anymore. Waiting for my first homegrown weed to be vaped. Day 82 Tropicanas flowers hanging to dry in my basement. I check them once per day with a strong light. Day 83 Same same. The smell is wonderful like a bit of gas combined with a fruity flower bouquet. Our neighbors in the house like the smell, too. 🙏 Day 84 I could try my first homegrown weed. It‘s absolutely tasty and have a very smooth vape. I was very surprised cause it‘s not cured yet. A longer vape report will follow when it‘s dried and cured. Day 88 All flowers, sugar- and tee leafs are trimmed and filled in glasses for curing. I open twice per day for 20 minutes. Boveda packs 58% inside. I will fill out the rest of the diarie when my buds are dried, cured and vaped. So far this was a very exciting journey for me. Growing cannabis and even legal on our balcony. Feels still a bit unreal, but it’s real! Thank you for reading my diary! Thanks to all the people who worked on legalizing cannabis in Germany, especially to the „Deutscher Hanfverband (DHV)“! The plant feels very well

So this plant has been flowering for about 10-14 days. This Gaia green is super easy and as long as I dont get fungus gnats and the buds turn out well, it will be my new way of providing nutrients. I’m here to make my life easier. I love the fact that I get water, ph to a general range and pour in. I am starting a FastBuds Afghan Kush with Gaia green that will not have such a lax approach. Otherwise, this girl is just on cruise control. Water, Gaia green top dress when need and harvest when done. 👍🏻🌱👍🏻 Happy Growing 🌱

Another good week! I fed them once on Monday. A final shot to boost them for finishing up. I am pretty certain they will finish within 2 weeks.I also watered them on Thursday and today (Sunday). I defoliated both plants earlier this week as well. For one, I needed to open the canopy up to help keep the humidity down but, there were a lot of leaves yellowing and turning brown. I was not feeding them correctly... in the sense that I wasn't watering enough in between feeds. There were excess nutrients built up in the soil and I believe that led to the nutrient burn. Also, this was my first and only feed without the Grow Big due to flushing for week 9. I followed the Fox Farm feed schedule... but, I think I needed to understand my plants better! I also believe I stunted these girls! One is about 24" tall and the other is 21" tall. Both on the very low end of the growth chart. Overall, I am very happy!! So much to experience and learn in such a short window of time! I've thoroughly enjoyed this grow! I look forward to the harvest and experiencing all that is to come! One last thing... Anyone use GrowBuddy and any word on what is going on with the current download? I've followed the drama around taking so long and all that (the new hardware soon to be for sale for 2.0)... but, the website now says the software is available for free and working on Macs and Windows.... So, I downloaded it last night and I cannot activate an account. Everything has a greyed over kind of look... So, I assume they took some part of their servers offline... Anyone know if this is accurate and has anyone else activated a new account recently? Thanks for any insight!! Peace!
