Hola, esta semana hice una pequeña defoliacion . Creo que deberia haberla hecho antes. Todo va bien aunque no estoy conforme con la cantidad de flores y su tamaño. Tuve algunas dificultades con el riego las semanas anteriores y creo que se nota en el desarrollo de las flores. Pero bueno, hay que seguir y aprender para la proxima. Saludos!

I started feeding liquid nutrients this week. Although I’m using Nature’s Living Soil Super Soil Autoflower Concentrate mixed with Fox Farm Ocean Forest—so technically I could water only until harvest—I decided to begin liquid feeding in Week 3 at half the recommended dose. I also have a Tray2Grow Autopot system for automatic bottom feeding, but I haven’t activated it yet. When using liquid nutrients via top feeding, I’d need to turn the Autopot system off and wait until the plants absorb all the water in the tray before feeding from the top. Afterward, I’d have to manually turn the system back on. That seems like a hassle compared to just hand-watering and feeding. I could technically add the liquid nutrients to the Autopot reservoir, but that somewhat defeats the purpose of the system. The tank holds 25 gallons—enough to last a few weeks—but if I want to change or rotate nutrients weekly, I’d have to dump the remaining water and remix the solution each time. If I wanted to feed nutrients every other watering, I’d be changing out the tank every 3 days. Plus, liquid nutrients can cause buildup, so I’d need to clean the reservoir and all the tubing regularly. For now, I’ll stick with hand-watering and top feeding. I’ll only switch to the Autopot system if I need to leave town.

Day 50 - Starting week 8 and damn she’s getting some nice fat and tight buds. Not really y’all but she’s definitely going to be nice and dense. Will be giving her a feeding of nutes tomorrow. Day 51 - Looking good and fattening up nicely! Looking forward to this girl finishing but still a few weeks away. Gave her a full feeding of the foxfarm trio today. Day 52 - She’s fattening up nicely and think I should get a pretty decent yield out of her when she’s done. I wish my camera would show the colors like I can see in person but all kinds or oranges, yellows, greens in there. She’s a beautiful plant. Did a little leaf tucking and don’t really want to do any defoliation until I know she’s coming to an end. Day 53 - Looking nice and fat! Absolutely love what she looks like and how fat she’s getting. Only took her out to see if she needed some water, tuck a few leaves and to get some daily pics. Still a couple weeks left from what I can tell but looking forward to the harvest. Day 54 - Gave her some fresh pH’d water and cal-mag tonight, the pot felt like nothing but air. She’s really starting to drink heavily and is going through about 1/2-3/4’s a gallon of water every two days. She’s not really stretching but her buds are getting nice and plump. Will most likely give her a feeding of nutes on Saturday. Day 55 - No real updates today, she’s chugging along and really getting plump. I do see a little bit of foxtailing in my LSD-25 grow but nothing like that with this girl. Nice round, fat and starting to stretch a little bit buds. All in all this is gonna be a great grow and harvest. Day 56 - It’s the end of week 8 and this baby is looking great. Didn’t really do anything to her today but removed a couple of fan leaves in the middle that were in the way of the light. Will give her a feeding of nutes tomorrow.

We are slowly getting closer to the harvest 😍. You can see that the lady sucks all her energy out of the leaves and passes it on to the flowers. The buds smell very tasty 😍. It should be ready to harvest in the next 17 - 25 days. But of course we will be observing this closely with the microscope from next week. What a great week it’s been!today is day 65 from seed!! One of the Forbiddin Runtz got it’s last feeding on Friday and will get flushed for 2 weeks and will be ready for dry and cure! The rest will still remain getting same dose of nutes the rest of this week and most likely into the next! This batch felt like it went so quick ! Hope you all enjoy an watch out for next week !

Today I harvested after about 24 hours with lights turned on. The smell is strong lemon with a hint of mint :) I cant wait to taste her when its dry, and in my opinion it smells and looks good :) Had some problems with temperature, but with some gear improvements I think I got the right solution for it for next time. 6/17 - Watered today. 5 days since last watering. Made sure to add water slowly to the cups, as the medium I'm using is a coco/peat based medium, and I realize that peat becomes hydrophobic when it dries out, and the top was close to that. By watering pretty slow, it allows more of it to be absorbed vs just running through. Both Chinook Haze plants have 3 nodes already, and are starting their 4th. 6/18 - I watered yesterday, then life hit, and the plants were without lights for just over 24 hours. Looks like the newer area started to yellow a bit, which I assume will green again within a day or two now that the lights are back on. 6/19 - Plants are looking good to me. There seems to be a lot less vein swelling, so it appears the chance of overwatering that looked like it was coming on a week ago is subsiding. Got to let them grow some more before I start to chop them up in an attempt to mainline. 6/21 - Plants will be watered tomorrow. Other than that, it is just slowly moving along, and I am considering going to 1g pots soon. I believe I am going to try to go from solo cup to 1g to 5g this time, and I think that by doing so, I might not need to fertilize at all during veg at least. I figure if I can get 3-4 weeks out of the solo cup, then similar out of a 1g, by the time I get to 5g, I will be close to 8-12 weeks, and close to flipping time. I have dimmed the lights a bit, and raised them close to 33" above the 2 Chinook Haze plants in hope to induce a little stretch between nodes, but they still seem to be growing fairly compact. 6/22 - Watered the plants today. Could have probably waited another day, but I figure 5 days between watering was enough, and the cups did feel pretty light.

Week 8 Apart from having some issues with a high run off I think she’s growing ok. Although she doesn’t look very healthy at the moment. I am not sure if it’s because I left my soil tester inside the soil. In which case I’ve taken it out now to see if there’s any difference. She has yellowing leaves Burt tips and and brown spotting. I presume something isn’t right but being so close to harvest I don’t wanna set her back 2 weeks. Tomorrow morning will be day 59 going into week 9. Shall I keep feeding or just ph water it? I don’t want it to affect my yield. From one stoner to another your advice is appreciated always x peace out. Live, laugh be healthy and eat weed. Big love to all you growers. This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!
