*Pre-flowers have micro trichomes upon formation, LOL. Based on my early observation, I predict that these will be frosty frosty on the trichomes. Added 20lbs of black lava rock as mulch, raising soil temp around 1 and a half degrees to 72.8F. Some nice little bud formations are creeping up already. Nice little foliar spray of some aminos to the underside of the leaf. Hard to guage or know how much the aminos help, but after reading how energy intensive it is for the plant to make them from scratch its something I feel I need to do as a habit. An EC (Electrical Conductivity) meter, one that's made for the soil, it's so useful, as it indirectly indicates soil moisture as well as salt mineral nutrient levels. Just pop your metre stick in the soil and if ec is low, then it's time to water. Once there is water to assist in the conduction of electricity, the EC" will kick back up. 0.3-1.8, if it stays low, then you know it's time to add more mineral salt ferts! While Electrical Conductivity primarily indicates the overall salt content in soil, pH provides information about the relative proportion of cations (positively charged ions) in the soil's salt capacity. Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Not much to report on the Bubble Runtz, , she popped above soil on day 3 and is now on day 7 and is working on her 2nd set of true leaves. I started prepping the Coco Coir by flushing down to .4 EC and then soaking in water with an EC of 2.0 with Cal Mag and a PH of 6.8. I will let it soak until the seedlings are ready to be transplanted hopefully by next weekend or shortly thereafter. The weather in my region is perfect for cultivating seedlings as it is fairly hot and humid and I only have the Spectrum X running at 30% so it is not putting out much heat and I also have a humidifier running in the tent on low which is maintaining a RH of around 68%. I do have the AC Infinity fan kick on here and there just to keep some fresh air in the tent but no real issues with heat. This is my first run with Tastebudz genetics and super excited to try a cross of Bubble Gum and Runtz. I plan to build a mainline and flip as soon as all 5 mainlines are built, hopefully around week 7. This Medic Grow light is perfect for a 5X5, and the AC Infinity 8" exhaust does an excellent job of keeping the tent cool. I will set up an auto feeding system which consists of a reservoir, and some 1/2" tubing that is hooked to a submersible pump in the reservoir and set to feed for 1 minute every 6 hours through halo feeders connected to ball valves to adjust the flow. The runoff then flows via gravity to a 5 gallon bucket in the tent with a shallow pan condensate pump that pumps the runoff out of the tent when it gets above 3 inches to another reservoir. I have been growing fruit and vegetables for over 40 years and I have recently switched to high frequency fertigation in Coco Coir for my tomatoes as well, as I believe this growth medium combined with this technique is the safest, most environment friendly, and foolproof method of getting monster yields no matter what crop you are growing, and I have seen massive results in both cannabis and tomatoes. After 21 days in turbo cloner I transplanted 4 Sweet seeds Green Poison into 1 gallon plastic pots filled with Cana coco. Few days later I transplanted another 4 clones into DWC! Stay tuned! Coco feed at 700ppm Dwc feed at 480ppm

Day 36/Flower Day 8 - Starting to get them girle bits showing now. Stretch is still unreal but the smaller nodes that have crept up to the top are thickening their branches so thats a good sign they'll hold something and if not, have a spare elasticated SCROG net for support, which will DEFINATELY be needed by the looks of things!!! The main branches are sitting near as thick as 1 of the stems of my last grow so these girls are definitely sturdy and strong growers! If only they didn't push for the roof!!! When I start to see a few more flower sets/bud buttons proper actually forming, I'll start inching up the lights to 13/11 over the week...still tempted to start it now but thinking best to wait til the bloom nutes get upped drastically (which is next week - will be upping them by about 50-60% volume). Feared a bit right now that the extra light may fuel some stretch rather than fuel the flowers...but then again, having the plants acclimatise to 13/11 by the time the buttons are forming may not be bad...but then again, that 13/11 may slow down their formation!!! Choices and Choices!!! Was expecting the flower initiator would have knocked some time of the pre-flowers showing (can't think now if nodes were asymmetrical before flip...honestly couldnt have vegged any more though...or could I???) but nope, hopefully the buttons start to set quickly now though. Apart from that, all going well so far. Been a bit of a drop in the temps outside and clearer nights so hopefully that helps bring day temps and night temps down a bit - bringing down humidity some too. Need to restart my CO2 Jug now for the flowers and keep on watching them grow! Happy growing all! 💪

October 3rd. I've got to take some pictures and do my harvest reports. I did better quantity wise than I thoughtvi would. Quality is better than expected as well. I have everything else curing. I have some buds in a bucket that aren't MANICURED to my liking but good enough to cure. I've got some stuff hanging but its just going in a bag and to the lab for extracts. Let's talk about the girl that's still out there. Weirdest plant ive ever grown. Ive showed felliw growers and one said it looks like a reveg but it's not. Those pistols were already there. There are no rounded leaves or leaves with three fingers or one finger. Everything else is normal. I cut a bud off yesterday. The very bottom branch and it was thick and full. It's strange the bottom branches seemed to fill in butcthe colas havecthe outline of a two liter soda bottle bur looks like a string of pearls. Just foxtail. Even the buds that are thick still have foxtailing. The tips of the buds are skinny and I thought they might be dieing. I louped it and it is just a dark purple with trichs on top of trichs. My buddy that owns a dispo told me ge thinks it's a mutant. It's like calyxes on top of calyxes. Trichs are milky with some amber. It rained last night. I shouldve followed my intuition and took it. Oh well. It looks OK this morning. I've had to cut ONE piece of rot of this plant. My buddy said this is a perfect plant to wash. I don't give a shit about the structure or what it looks like. It's just my medicine. I'll try it before I throw it in a bag that's getting shipped to the lab. I'll try to keep this as updated as I can however this is a super busy time and I gave a lot going on so it will be a few days before I got my harvest reports done.
