Beginning of week 4.

Hello everyone, masters and beginner farmers! welcome back to the enchanting gardens of Peaky

Well, this was a interesting first journey.... the buds finished drying today, 5 days drying, added pics and vids. Just curing to go.... ah nice buds :) Edit: i forgot to mention i went over the buds when i harvested them, and checked / removed any impurities, like gnats caught in the sticky bud.... picked em clean with tweezers... 👍 Edit: needed to air/dry out the buds abit more, and get some Boveda Humidipak for curing.... it's looking good... i'll update with some pics of trimmed, cured buds 😎 The buds turned out beautiful, pungent, pine, berry, citrusy, daytime, medical..... this has theoretical 1:1 - 21% THC, 19% CBD, so it's not going to give u a knockout high.... its medical grade 1:1 ....... side effects - happy, relaxed. haha :) I weighed it dry and came up with about 123.32g (4.35oz) ... i used abit of guesswork in the weight, not to concerned with weight, as to quality.... (that weight is with the test buds added in, +-15g.) .... you can guess the weight from the pics and vids, haha I really enjoyed growing this.... i found the website by looking up the seeds, decided to start a grow diary, it's my first grow, i made alot of mistakes and growdiaries really helped alot, joined a chat group with some other really good growers. Edit - Day 111 - added vid/pic, Been curing for a week, burp and roll em abit twice a day....... smell and taste nicer each day, 👍 Edit - Day 112 - added good vid of trimmed up test bud, beautiful ...... So here we are, day 72 september 8th. RIP first grow, I shoulda had a dehumidifier guys.... The 3 other plants are transpiring wayyyy too much and I didn't realize how much of a humidity problem it would cause. Low and behold, it ruined my girl. I believe only the main cola is affected. Can I chop her top off and continue on till the rest of her buds ripen? What can I do ?? Please help I fucked up, this really sucks ass.... EDIT EDIT: ITS NOT ROT YAY! IT'S SPIDER MITES I BELIEVE! I saw a little red bug and i was like OH SHIT. Turns out they can leave little webs in your buds. Any recommendations on how to treat this ? EDIT 9/10: Okay, after not wanting to believe it was mold.... it was mold. lol. I removed the top part of the main cola that was in the early stages of bud rot (botrytis) I have never seen the inside of a developing bud like this. I wasn't really sure exactly what I was looking at lol. So I probably removed more than I had to and some parts probably could have been salvaged but fuck that I just got rid of all of it. Cleaned the tent with lysol disinfecting wipes and got a cheap dehumidifier. I am almost 100 percent sure I am gonna have to buy a 150-200$ dehu in the near future..... i hope not tho. ALSO, changed light schedule back to 20/4. 10 AM off, 2 PM on. Hopefully this will help with some cooler temps during the day. :) and @Philindicus recommended I switch it, I am gonna take his advice this time after he warned me of mold issues xDDD Sept 11th Day 75 - Got a 50 pint GE dehu setup today, big boy moves. Plants are thriving now, 55% RH controlled and ooooo its so nice! Feels good to regain control over the grow again xD. Will post some nice pics tomorrow :) Sept 12th day 76 - sorry no pics again today, just been super busy :p Plants are still thriving, currently 50% rh in the tent and 74.5f degrees :) TEXTBOOK! Hey what’s up fellow growers I made a mistake and deleted my dairy for these clones so I just put em all in one This is week 6-8 since I had these clones All pictures is from beginning to recent I’m growing four different strains Sherbertlato , Peanbutter Breath x Cookies , Wedding Cake , & Gorilla Cookies I have them in a 4x4 diy tent under a 1200w Aglex LED & a 600w FSg tek LED budget light I only water ph at 6.6 with cal-mag since I received them I’ve transplanted twice from solo cups to 1 gallon to 5 gallon grow bags inside of a mixture of fox farm ocean forest and roots organics 707 soil I still have the wedding cake and sherbetlato in 1 gallon grow bags til they grow taller then their going in 5 gallon before flower Today is April 5th I just watered and cut some clones then placed them under an diy scrog net Once the cuttings roots I’m going to flip the Gorilla Cookies and Peanutbutter Breath x Cookies into flower I must say although this is my first grow I think I’m doing an okay job with these clones a lot better than I did with my auto flower grow I learned to watch and time my watering and feeding and I’m still learning a grower I know where I got my clones said I’m catching on fast tho n keeping my environment clean and air good not getting any bugs specially without any expensive equipment So stay tuned Im only getting better specially with the advise and techniques

Marker didn't take well to the mainlining process; as a result, one cola was almost entirely consumed by mold. However, overall, things are looking good. I ended up with a small, resilient plant with a nice aroma of pineapple and Skittles, with hints of gas towards the end. 🍍🌿 Towards drying and curing now! 🌬️🎊

Sep 6: the top buds are mostly ready. Final Flush was applied two days ago and are supposed to wait 7-10 days. Will wait a bit longer but harvest will be starting soon. Sep 7: harvested 740 g wet buds into freezer. When dried this will be about 180 g. Lower buds will be another week or two. Sep 12: most likely will be harvested tomorrow. These are really nice hard buds. Don’t take flash pics of your plants unless you follow up with a far red light. Otherwise…hermies are more likely.

I’m excited to see what RQS have to offer with this little Gem! I’ve been waiting to try another of Royals Automatics, Green Gelato is a strain I very much look forward to with desert strains being at the Top of my list 🥇 It’s been an eventful first few days.. (arnt they always!) she’s poked her head up yesterday so Day 1 is 30/03/20. Let’s see how this week treats her, I plan to keep a close eye on the environmental conditions and to ensure she’s being fed some gentle nutrients, CalMag to begin with followed by some BioBizz Grow for the extra nitrogen needed at this delicate time 👌 See you all next week, I hope with more leaves to show 🌱✌️ Peace and love, stay safe

Fractal week 18 & 19. 7/28 - 8/4-10 I am late for my outside ladies diaries updates. Life has been getting the best of me lately. I’ve been packing my daughter’s room and moving her things to her new home. For those that have followed my since my beginning here, Cancer left me with neuropathy and arthritis in my hands. I can no longer do my glass fusing or flame work. To close this chapter of my life, I’ve been inventorying glass, tools, equipment, molds and supplies to sell. The most stressful has been appealing Medicare claims and receiving the second denials on the same claims. They are the last payer of record so good luck getting any reimbursement you are entitled to. My apologies to all of you for being so brief on your diaries and not providing many comments. Photos are from 7/28- 8/9 for both weeks. For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue to live in sweltering conditions. Temps are in the upper 80-90s with humidity over 105. In addition to the heat, Hurricane Debby started up the coast but was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time it got to us. Expecting our normal thunderstorms, I waited til morning to bring the ladies inside. Overnight, we had wind gusts of 25mph. Yeah, then I brought all gals into the house. The photo gals are strong and with thick stalks were able to withstand the winds. Both Opium’s got blown over Auto Opium is thin and spindly and before I could save her from the winds and rain, she got whipped side to side. The top 2 feet bent hard one way and the top 6 inches bent the other direction. The pics show my attempt to bandage the damage 😟 to her top cola with chopsticks and electrical tape. I top dressed all ladies with Bloom Soil for organic fertilizer. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed.
