~ Day 71 Update ~ Hello everyone! Hola! I’m Meus and this is my 10th weekly update for “First Mainline Attempt!”. I’d like to welcome new & veteran growers, Thanks for taking the time to stop by :) ~ Progress ~ You know, I’m astounded by the level of growth in this past week, my mind is blown! 5" of growth compared to the avg of 1" for the past few weeks (9,8,7, etc), just wow 😱. The smell is pungent, dank, and slightly sweet. I can only dream of what these girls will skunk out, soon, very soon... I’d like to flower now but I have a few small issues. First: I wanted to stop at 8 toppings but I need clones of the others so everyone gets topped to keep an even canopy. Of course I’m not taking 8 clones each 😏, just 2-3 of each strain (5 strains, 6 plants; 2 phenotypes) to put in my 2nd tent till these girls (mainlined beasts) are harvested. This is ambitious though I’m optimistic that this will work out 🙏 Second: Related to the first issue I’m going to need a trellis net to support these girls with their 16 tops. Thing is, all my plant have varying flowering schedules (55 to 70+ days). I’ll need to make a net set up that I can cut out each plant individually as they’re ready to harvest. Third: MOLD! Though it’s not a lot I do have a bit of mold developing at the bottom of the fabric pots (which are known to mold). I’m going to switch to Superoots Air-Pot so I can avoid the mold. They’re $10+ a pop so I might have to wait till my next grow to afford the amount I need to make a full switch. Depending on how things go I’ll start flowering at week 13. Now concerning the mold I found a few ways to deal with my problem without harming or altering taste of these young ladies. This will be a tough 11 - 14 weeks, I’ll keep ya updated fam! ~ Individual progress notes ~ (will post full information soon, update delayed for personal reasons) [Purple Urkle #1] Height: 14" Tops: 8 Notes: 14 inches... That's quite a climb :) Though she's stretchy like her sister I'm excited, can't wait to see the development in the next few weeks of veg 😊 [Purple Urkle #2] Height: 13.2" Tops: 8 Notes: I'm surprised at the uniformity of these two sisters, I'm going to veg a bit longer and get me some clones just in case ;) [CBD Blueberry] Height: 9.8" Tops: 8 Notes: I thought this girl was a goner, definitely didn't respond to the mainline well like the others, wonder why? 😶 Still I'm impressed that my smallest plant is filling in, though she looks weird I still love her and her minions <3 [White Widow] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: Well... This was one of my smallest girls, she's by far the bushiest and most filled in. For an example look at her root mass, one word, insane! Roots are spreading everywhere, so aggressive and the trunk is huge, perfect for transporting all those nutes. Tanya here recovered from a split too, awesome :) [Mazar] Height: 13.8 Tops: 8 Notes: Taller but just as dense as the white widow, the Mazar has potential! A beautiful, healthy canopy, one of my best girls. It's a good feeling knowing that my hard work is paying off 😭 I'm afraid of topping this one because she is so dense that 16 tops will be off the hook, better make a plan soon 🙏 [Super Silver Haze] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: I’m starting to get impatient, I love this strain! Well, most strains developed by Arjan are great <3 I will need to feed soon with diluted nutes, she looks hungry a bit. Other than that she’s a healthy young lady that’s ready to flower :) ~ Final Thoughts ~ Where to start... I’m excited! Getting my clones are my top priority right now, then I'll focus on canopy support. I’ve come a long way from my first grow, even though I failed I learned a lot. 11/17/20-Day 42- watered 300ml #1, and 200ml #2. 11/19/20-Day 44- watered 300ml #1, and 200ml #2. 11/21/20-Day 46- watered 500ml #1, and 400ml #2. Added 1/4 cup Dr. Earth flower girl to top 2” of each pot. Foliar sprayed #2 with extra diluted dr earth liquid.

November 6, 2021 They are both still going. The Blackberry is starting to foxtail. I still don't see any amber trichomes and I have not seen the calyx's swell yet. These plants have 2 more weeks max. As soon as the photos are ready to flip to flower, I'm harvesting these autos - ready or not.

No idea what she was. Tester # 3. She smells like vanilla and citrus. She grew super great I would so love to grow her again. Would be super interested In her genetics. Would grow again in larger pot.

Und so langsam nähern wir uns dem Ende...und um ehrlich zu sein, können wir es kaum noch abwarten. Unsere Ladys schauen fantastisch aus ! Die Temperatur ist weiterhin konstant, immer etwa um die 27 ° Celsius. Bisher haben wir einen sehr milden, aber auch feuchten Frühling mit nur wenigen sehr kurzen Hitzeperioden. In unserem Haus ist an sich kein Geruch wahrzunehmen. Dies liegt jedoch an unseren guten Abluft und dem großen Filter denn sobald wir die Box öffnet strömt ein unglaublich angenehmer, süßlich bis fruchtiger Geruch durch die Räume.

So this week the little gelatocake is on week 8 and is really starting to eat herself now, full of trichomes and smells like tutti fruity chewie sweets. Last week of nutes for her then mollases only. Week 7 for the othere gelatocake and shes starting to fatten up now as well as fade also. Babys have got big since re potting I will.bend them over later. Sherbert mimosa are still taking there time I think they are starting to get bigger 🤔🤣 I Will keep you updated lol. Happy growing guys 👌💪💚

Day 43 - July 23 The buds are swelling little by little, nothing to report

I transferred it to a half-gallon pot and I mixed the organic fertilizer with the soil.

This week has been good, no problems to say of. No changes to the light schedule or nutrients. I do have a Lemon Pie Auto doing something strange stuff it is @ 51 days old and is giving off some mutations in the fan leafs, and she stretched to double the height of the other 2 in the tent. Also has begun to develop a few small brown spots on a couple fans too but other than that all is well.

I lowered the ppms of fade and PK and it made a significant difference. Everything is back normal and stable again. Lowering light intensity and temp in general to induce maturation. I’m sitting at 10% amber roughly. I’m going to check this weekend and it might be chop chop.

01/29 day 23 start of week 4 and things are popping!! Haven't fed at all this week should tomorrow . 01/30 bed for 7 gallons water 2.5 gallons feed full bloom recipe

*=UPDATED=* Not to much to add this week, I plucked a lot of the lower leaves off to prevent them from getting to close to the growing medium and having some disease issues, plus increases some air flow. Also plucked a few of the top fan leaves that where blocking the lower buds from the light. Don't think this is proper defoliation so I did not check it off as a grow technique. The plants are really starting to smell more and get a lot of trichomes on them. When I'm in the case and smell each plant, they all have different terpene profiles. one is very lemon and pine with a hint of sweetness, one is quite sweet and berry like with lemon notes "my fav", another is just more so woodsy pine smell and the last one is mildly sweet smelling with something else I could not pinpoint. one setback is the case fan I was using died out, i think the heat inside the tent and operating for so long got to it, it was an older fan to start off with so not overly surprising. It started to have a hot electric smell to it, like wires or rubber getting to hot. I manage the case heat by propping its door open on a angle. still keeps temps at 25c (77f) Other then that I don't think they grew to big vs last week, one plant is starting to get some more purple in it, I like purple colour on buds. maybe the leaf plucking set it back a bit, can't imagine the plant would enjoy that happening to it. Trying to post little fly over videos every week of the case to give better idea of plants and what they are looking like. will try and get a macro lens closer to trichomes and see what they are doing in terms of clear cloudy and amber for next week, may give me a hint as if ill harvest week after that. *=UPDATE=* I didn't want to wait till next week to post trichomes so took some photos with a clip-on Macro lens for my phone, not the best but looks pretty cool. mostly all cloudy from what I can tell. one plant has a bit of amber on its sugar leaves but not its bud.

Finally the weather is nice enough I transplanted them into there final 4gal pots and put them into the greenhousefor the season. Got my drip line all hooked up and so far seems like it's going good.
