7/27/2023- Prep Tent and system are cleaned and ready to go from my last grow. I have submitted my Journa for the Diary of the Month Competition here is to hopeing for good resutls. 7/28/2023- Germination Day 0- Seed initiation Well lets get this new Grow started.. So My Dad Sent me a custom Landrace Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Black African Magic: Black African Magic, Alson known as BAM, is a Sativa pure land race strain, It's classified under the Cannabis Sative species and its genetics come from Africa-the Ituri Forest in the Dmocratic Repoublic of Congo. The Effects are said to be Very Psychedelic, used for Stress managment and for better sleep and rest. This is my frist Land Race so we, will see how this goes together.. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. I also removed some of the water. 8/3/2023- Germination Day 3 Looking good stretching her leaves out to let in the lights 8/4/2023- Germination Day 4 Looking good a few days until I put them into the RDWC System and get this thing rocking and rolling. 8/5/2023- Germinaiton Day 5 Looking good will probably plant tomorrow if the roots are still looking good. 8/6/2023- Plant Day- Germination Day 6 Planted into the RDWC System today. Joy when they go into the system as long as we dial that in right this will now be a great grow.. Survived the hard part.. 8/7/2023- Germination Day 7 Everything looks like it is going good, she is showing some damage on the lower leaves from the over watering in the cloning machine but right now I don't see any new damage. 8/8/2023- Germination Day 8 Added the first Nutes today, to help support root growth and to help give there first jump to growth. Great growth from all the girls this week. Stretched massively. I have done a major defoliation to let more light to bud sights. 95% flowers are in light now. I will do another Small defoliation next week. Dry amended top soil with bat guano, worm castings and bio life. Should be enough to bring them into mid flower. I had a slight fungus knat issue but got some nematodes and they are starting to clear along with sticky traps. I have also taken cuttings from a few of the girls to cross a few of the stronger strains and create my own strain. First time I will be doing this so excited to see how it turns out.

Starting autopot system and root aeration this week. Stay posted for updates. Day 1 You remember that movie "Training Day"? It's sorta like that. With a light trim for the buried leaves on lean. Day 3 continued lst, also some defoliating to encourage growth and light up the nodes. Day 7 did a final pin for the week. #5 and I had a tug of war, We both lost. Start somewhere other than the top when tieing. But otherwise I am real proud of my pinning and hope it's right on the money.

Most of the week was spent setting up the hydro grow. Needed to build a DIY chiller since air temp in our grow room is hot, and water needs to be a good deal colder. Fridge from kijiji, garden hose, fittings, and submersible pump all in were under $100 but knowing what I know now I'd likely go with a thermoelectric chiller (DIY, with power supply and temp controller) next time around. Looking forward to tracking metrics and seeing how it goes :). Seems there's a lot of contradiction in terms of level of nutrients recommended, max water temperature, using H2O2 to boost water temp that can keep algae and rot at bay, etc. Got my hands on some Hydroguard via Amazon... despite local shops saying you can't get it in Canada... so I'm going to go with that instead of H2O2 to start, despite water temp getting up above 21 C (70 f) during the day. Fingers crossed. Update - keeping water reservoir tank under 20 C now by using reflective bubble wrap insulation on the reservoir itself and pipe insulation as well. It's a 10 C difference from the room temp, so I'm SUPER pleased with that.

these 2 seeds from the same pack are definitely different: the topped girl is massive, with multiple heads that are only starting to stop growing (i hope she will finally concentrate on her buds!), while the LST girl has a nice structure with 6 buds that are growing day by day. one classic, the other with great potential... i love this session. 😊 miscalculation on my part at the beginning of the week: I doubled all the nutrients, confusing the volume of my cans... 😓 coco is not forgiving, the burns appeared the next day; but fortunately, it is corrected just as quickly: I emptied the bowls and diluted the water in the tank, I performed a haircut on the two girls (one burned, the other a little wilted), and here they are in great shape at the end of the week. The resin appeared on the LST girl this week. another thing: the bleach has already proved its worth; not a single worm in my water, no more smell of algae in the tank, despite a rather sporadic maintenance... 😏

First week setting up my DWC! Assembled the reservoir and cloner/seedling starter and figured out temperature control while waiting on the seeds to be delivered. June 8th, PM: Started germinating the seeds. Germinated in paper towel for 3 days. June 12, afternoon: Transplanted seedlings to the cloner to start seedling growth June: 16, morning: Transplanted to their final reservoir. June 16th (end of Week 1) is really the start of the grow, as it's when the seedlings finally made it into their res. This week was more a "Week 0".

Como estáis fumetillas, yo estoy flipando, y es que las flores de estas skunks son como rocas, y no solo lo compactas que están si no que están bastante tricomadas, las 3 a cada cual más , lavamos las raíces y ya estarán solo agua, dejemos que termine de florecer y madurar, tampoco hay prisa, ph controlado temperatura ideal, bajamos algo más la humedad, puede que tengamos que tuitear alguna pero estoy evitándolo, se irá viendo estos días, ya nos veremos esta semana que viene un saludo familia y buenos humos.

First plant, 174.2 grams, super excited, not real happy with how buds looked, not sure if gentics weren't the best for this one but has airy buds except for where the tops were. Still smokes good so no real complaints.
