Week ten 64-70 days after germinating

La floración sigue su curso esta semana y nos va regalando colorido y aroma para nuestros sentidos. Aunque me he encontrado un pequeño contratiempo, algunas hojitas están siendo mordisqueadas por pequeñas orugas. Si bien es cierto que sólo he encontrado algunos ejemplares en su hermana de cultivo S.A.D. CBD, sí que se pueden apreciar hojas mordisqueadas en estas dos cepas Red Pure Auto y su compañera OG Kush - Dianfem... 😒 Los pistilos van inundando toda la planta y siguen aumentando su tamaño. Las flores continúan oscureciendo, las hojas y sus tallos ya muestran un claro color rojizo/púrpura. 🌿 El tallo tiene un tamaño y consistencia considerable, lo que le está permitiendo resistir algunas rachas de viento sin excesivo problemas y sin necesidad de soportes o guías (por el momento). Se perciben bastante mejor los aromas de las floración. En cuanto a las altura, una mide 40cm y la otra 48cm. Seguimos aumentamos la cantidad de agua, progresivamente, según van pidiendo/necesitando las plantas. Sigo intentando no utilizar ningún tipo de "ayuda extra", salvo la tierra enriquecida de BioBizz All-Mix donde están plantadas. Seguimos con el agua mineral, luz solar, mucha paciencia y mucho amor!🤞😍 Aunque para controlar la aparición de pequeñas orugas he añadido: 20g de tierra de diatomea (Diatical de TRABE), directamente sobre el sustrato (1-2 veces/mes y se puede aplicar en cualquier momento del cultivo). 50ml de Super Kukulus (fitofortificante ecológico)/1 litro de agua para riego foliar, tanto en el anverso como en el reverso de las hojas (2-3 veces/sem y se puede aplicar en cualquier momento del cultivo has 2 días antes de la cosecha). Además, añadiré unas pequeñas tiras (Yellow Sticky Traps) para mayor tranquilidad, veremos los resultados en las próximas semanas! 💪😅

28/04/2021 (Day 43) Se realizo un nuevo cambio de solución, las plantas ya están tirando pelos y los leds están al 80%, se observo un gran crecimiento radicular y las paredes del tallo son increíblemente gruesas y duras. 03/05/2021 (Day 48) Las plantas vienen con un crecimiento optimo pero la flora se está tardando demasiado en hacerse presente, se estima que es debido al estrés que tuvo en semana 3 de vege produjo un retraso de algunos días. Esta semana se incorpora Safe Roots al sistema con la finalidad de que deje la solución lo mas limpia posible. También se realizaron bastantes defoliaciones ya que no existía penetracion de luz teniendo en cuenta el tamaño que están ocupando (85% del espacio de cultivo a 30/35 cm de altura) 05/05/2021 (Day 50) Se realizo un nuevo cambio de solución, esta vez utilizando safe roots para limpiar todo el sistema hidroponico. 600w de Citizen a 30cm en 160x80 y la plantas parecieran que si les doy mas luz van a usarla, es increíble la tolerancia a la alta intensidad de ppfd que tienen, gracias a esto logramos subsanar esa semana de raíces marrones. La temperatura bajo drásticamente y nos dejó el indoor en unos 22 grados, donde todo marcha perfecto.

. So were should i start lol they all growing and streaching as they should. The permanent markers are doing alright. They're still really short compared to the others, but they're finally starting to take off. I can kinda see them catching up soon. The new year is off to a frosty start! We've had snow falling for what feels like forever. My kids are loving it, of course. They're building forts, having snowball fights, and turning everything into a winter wonderland. It's been a lot of fun to watch them enjoy it. All this snow is really making me think about how quickly time flies. It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating the holidays, and now here we are knee-deep in winter. I'm looking forward to warmer weather, but for now, I'm enjoying the quiet beauty of fresh snow.

Day 21 of flowering did defoil the lady’s. No hermaphrodite showing up. Did a compost tea today. Corn is sprouting for tea. Did covercrop to get some fresh greens for the hcompost after the run. The buds are stick as fuck. Looking forward for the next and last defoil in week 5.

Medium: Look, I love coco/soil, organic/synthetic just as much as anyone. I’ve never really hated on any particular method and each has its uses depending upon the environment. That being said.... hydro is likely to be the predominant indoor method for us going forward. It ticks all the boxes that the average hobby grower is looking for. Maintenance is generally pretty easy, while I’ve found myself monitoring ph and tds more frequently, I’m still only mixing nutes once a week instead of three. The hassle factor is crazy mitigated here👍. From a sustainability perspective, nute consumption is wayyyy down, saving more dolla bills y’all! Added bonus is that veg. Growth rates are just insanely fast. From the moment she popped her head out to the start of week 4, this girl was fimmed, pruned, trained and flipped. She put out a full oz. more than the 6 week(v) mainline beside er😳. Now that is just straight amazing😎. The key advantages - BIG F$&K’N YIELDS and auto pilot care for up to 2 weeks. It is a little bit of a tricky medium but once you dial in the ratios - smooth sail’n the whole grow. I can focus on training/maintenance instead of feeding🤟🤟. If there’s a drawback to DWC it would be that I’d have concerns about leaving it for more than a couple days when she’s in full flower. They just drink so much that It’s a constant top off. All told, far and away the most effective and economical medium we’ve used😎. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Under this COB light system, the best method to date has definitely been a mainline. It’s got so much canopy penetration that we’re pulling down 16” long colas packed with well developed buds. Here’s where strain, medium and method kinda collide though. This girl was on a hurry up and go schedule. We lost the first one to root rot and had to get this one off the ground and mature before the cycle sched. Was gonna flip. Not to mention it was totally screwing with our spring nursery timing too. She was fimmed once and then splayed with LST. Not much either - just enough to get er spread apart a little. So you combine ultra fast growth rates of hydro with a big yield strain like this on a fast paced training method that limits required recovery times... and you get this monster. Just a perfect grow that anyone would be extremely happy with. We used frozen water bottles In the res. twice a day throughout the grow. My issues with light leaks and temps are well documented and I’m constantly running up against one or the other as a hurdle. This plant was no different and she started to re-veg. In the last few days prior to chop. All due to a light leak from the cabinet beside this one that was running on an 18/6. Gonna have to plug some light holes prior to next grow. Other than that - she was amazing and the method here is getting an unusually high and very rare 5/5.😳 Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 The final number is just so sweet. 6.04oz and she veg’d less than a month. Overall, I could confidently say that’s both faster and better than most typical autos in general😳😎👍👌. Any time your rock’n out 5+oz is a good haul but in this kinda time frame - that’s just crazy. We let her go just a little longer (again, as per Spliff’s direction) and it was worth the extra patience. She’s dense as all hell and a nice add to the stash🤟. Hi@ALL, today marks the end of the first flowering week. Since the two main stems grew too tall, I had to tie them down to achieve a more even surface. The stems in the middle might still manage to reach the top. I removed all leaves that were casting shadows. The lower branches of the plant naturally receive much less light than the upper ones. I tried to tie them down as much as possible so that they stretch outwards. I hope it wasn’t wrong not to cut them. All in all, it seems to be going well for her. I’ve switched my fertilization schedule to flowering. And I’ve gradually increased the light intensity from the first flower-day until today. I started at around 800 PPFD and now I’m up to approximately 1100 PPFD. Greetings 😎👌

Day 70 (Day F26): streching has started

Weather has been much better this week. Put in some nematodes to try and regulate on some fungus gnats. No feeding yet this week. Topped the Deep Purple this week, and took a little to much off the top lol 😂 but should be quite all right. Gonna start some LST this next week. Super fun and grow on 🤙🏻

At the beginning of the week I found many leaves with spots on them. I think I might have had some mites. I removed almost all of the leaves and sprayed the ladies twice with CannaCure. Now everthing looks ok again at it should be only a few days until the first ones will come down. Checking trichomes everyday.

7/19/2021 - Fed her with a mix of veg + bloom + worm castings + insect frass. We're 'bout to flip her. Unsure of the rate of application, going with feel. - Irrigated with a mix of water, coconut water, and unsulfured black strap molasses. - Decreasing the light timer by an hour each day to gently bring her into the flowering stage. - Defoliated again, she gets bushy fast. 7/24/2021 - Been defoliating this one every other day, she get's bushy reaaally fuckin' fast. - Lights finally reach 12/12 tonight. 7/25/2021 - First day of 12/12, gave her ANOTHER trim loll

Be in flush within 7-10 days on all but the sativa FF2 Vids up 9/24 After looking at things this morning have decided to start moving the FFT9 and FFT11 to flush. Begin slowly cutting Bloom nuets tomorrow for those two so we can start flush at week's end. 9/25 Feed is changing as we move her into flush.
