einamio My second DWC grow, I got hooked after "successful" first try. This time it will be Pineapple Dream by Kannabia, they were nice enough to send me some amazing gifts 💚 I feel this strain is underrepresented on GD with 4 diaries and 1 review 😎 Germinated in 1/4 grodan rockwool cube, at about day 4, no root so far, I add ph5.5 water manually to rocwool as soon as it feels dry. Plan to transfer her to 20L as soon as she grows some roots. Terra Aquatica Tripart will be my main hydro nutrient choice. Day -1 Is it damping off? Helped her take the shell off but she stays crooked... There's a tiny white root poking beneath, I will set a small bubbler to let it grow a bit longer. If this seed won't survive I promise I will use "Sproutly" the smart germinator 😋 Day 0 Hard to tell, she doesn't want to open her cotyledons, looks really yellow, but she is growing a bit and the root is growing... I'm confused if I should start a new one. Day 1 Ok, we figured it out! It was lack of light that was affecting her. Note to self: TURN ON THE LIGHTS RIGHT AFTER GERMINATION. I was wrong thinking they don't need light before they open up but it seems it was crucial for proper development and now she's probably a day behind - but she looks vital again, the paleness is gone and the root keeps growing - so I moved her right into her final 15L res, with tap water 7.5ph 250ppm and added 5ml of each of TriPart and ph minus and now my EC 0.85 and PH 6.3 --- I couldn't keep updating the diary for a few weeks, some information and photos might be missing ---

einamio Day 33 Top node snapped during lst, I tried to stabilize it the best I could, it's a bit hard to reach. I was worried I'm gonna lose half the top but she couln't care less and just kept growing. ph 6.2 ppm 650. Almost two weeks since 12/12, I think I will try an auto in dwc next :)

einamio Days 40-41 She's a mutant - one of those X-plants with weird leaf growing out of center of another leaf and odd numbers of fingers on some other leaves. She's got bigger than I would like her to be since flowering takes ages... I mean I switched to 12/12 when she was just 21 days old... it's bee 3 weeks... I will try switching even earlier next time...

einamio And we're finally flowering. Days 45-46 I finally changed her reservoir because we're sort of moving into flowering I decided it was time. She handled 7 weeks in the same res from the start like a champ. I occassionally topped up with and without nutes depending on her looks and ppms. Latest: ph 6.3 ppm 1000 Day 47 Gosh she has too many branches I will have to remove a few... I should've switched to 12/12 much sooner... also she keeps stretching, might have to remove a raiser from under res

einamio Days 50-53 So last week I refilled her res, added flower proportions and some plagron, EC was about 2 and it looks like it caused ph to keep falling below 5.5 because I was topping up everyday with just tap to keep in between 5.5-6.5. PH seems to stabilized when EC dropped below 1.6... Still learning a lot, last grow I didn't realize that when plant drinks from the res it raises ppm because there's obviously less liquid for particles. Unless plant consumes nutrients like crazy :) Also lucky with cold weather so the water doesn't get dangerosuly warm. Pineapple is getting too big for 40x40 and too tall for 140cm, I need to make more room because she's not done stretching.

einamio Day 61 She got 90cm tall and keeps going wtf... my 180 tent can hardly fit the bucket, the plant, filter and light. there's probably about 20 cm left with some colas having much less. I keep pruning and defoliating her... some branches are too thin, I don't understand why she stretched so much. I prefer like 30cm tall girls with big buds :) She drinks about a liter a day. I try to keep her ph 6.2 ppm 800-900
