Buckle up, because things are getting wild in the grow room! Our P.C.R.s are on a growth spurt like no other! They're reaching for the stars and filling up the entire room with their lush foliage and budding flowers. It's like a jungle in here, and I’m loving every minute of it! The energy in the room is electric, and you can practically feel the excitement buzzing in the air. With all this growth, our grow room is bursting at the seams! These plants are not messing around—they’re taking up every inch of space and demanding attention. It's like they're saying, "Look at us, we're the stars of the show!" And let me tell you, they're stealing the spotlight with their beauty and vigor. As we approach day 21, the anticipation for defoliation is real. But our P.C.R.s have other plans—they're playing hard to get! Despite their reluctance, I’m keeping a close eye on them and patiently waiting for the perfect moment to give them a little trim. After all, a little pruning goes a long way in ensuring optimal light penetration and airflow, leading to healthier and happier plants. Defoliation is like a mini makeover for our plants—it removes excess foliage, allowing more light to reach the lower buds and promoting better airflow throughout the canopy. This not only improves bud development but also reduces the risk of mold and pests. It's like giving our P.C.R.s a spa day—they come out looking refreshed and rejuvenated! Welcome to Harvest week of my Sunset Sherbet journey sponsored by Zamnesia. Sunset Sherbet has been in the garage this week just chilling. Temperatures outside were 25-37f at night and in the garage 40-50s and flushed for 4 days with 2-3 liters each day. The cold weather did not do much for color change. Weeks of colder weather would have had an impact. I harvested her 12/5, day 101 from germination in the soil. I got some good trichome pics earlier this week. Sunset Sherbet grew in my small 3x3. She demonstrated a strong resistance to mold, bud rot and pests. I switched to an organic nutrient feeding solution and kept trying to get my ppms in the range of synthetic fertilizers. This resulted in overfeeding which burned up her leaves. She would have been pretty based on the colors I see in the buds-pinks, purples and oranges. Plant structure – Sunset Sherbet remained short at just 20 inches. This would make her very good for small closet grows. She had many branches off the main stalk and her nodes were tight. There were many, many small leaves, not much bigger than a quarter. Data sheet advised of regular maintenance. Trimming will be a bit tedious as a result of not defoliating more. Day 31 of flower Basically the girls are on autopilot, with the autopots and Gaia green there really isn't much to do, both methods are super user friendly and the basic needs that need to be meet are just ph water in the reservoir every couple days and then watch them stack buds on top of buds...Occasionally I move a branch over to another square in the net to make room but Basically after the last top feeding it's just watch and weight, pun intended....
