The pistols are turning a brown colour this is the end of week 2 going into week 3. Does anyone know if this is normal with LED lighting? I have put a close up on the video.

This was a fun week, the plants got their first feeding from the TripTonic line of nutrients. I did a light feeding and then had to readjust as the EC was a bit low considering the size of the plants. The runoff was a bit high and this maybe because of all the left over from the pro mix slow release, thought it would have been used up by now. They will get the same water as the rest of the plants on the deck for the remainder of the week. I don't know if the PH will get out of wack because of this, but given that it is mainly peat and it tends to be acidic I think I'm in the clear. The little video was fun to splice together too. Got a little package in the mail from a fellow grower. @GottaGrowSometime has shared some of their Fast Buds winnings and sent me some green crack cbd 1:1 and cbd 20:1, they also threw in seed of the cherry coke and a few extras. This is going to help me test out their CBD lineup and see if its worth growing out. Big shoutout to them for being a great community member. In return I will be sending them some of my backcrossed Dinamed CBD Kush Autoflower seeds I made, the testing is going well so best to see what it can do in other growers hands.

hi all. Here we are finally here with some of the ladies out and hanging to dry. It had been a fun week with trimming and hanging the Girl Scout cookie ladies. They finished so perfectly with a beautiful colour and terpenes oozing off them. Everytime I go up to the room , their sweet smell hits me before I get to see the other ladies. With about 6 days for #2 and 4 for #1 , I expect a few more days before they are even close to jar ready for a cure. Thankfully as they are organic and not needing to deal with leftover sodium based nutes, the terpenes should remain fairly intact with the very low 8°c and plenty of airflow keeping them rotating slowly. Rh is around 50% but not a mould risk thanks to the draughty eaves. The remaining Amnesia Haze ladies are like wound springs now. They are still 2 weeks from their supposed harvest time but look ready now. If I didn't know that there is a second flush about to pop them wide open and swell them even more , it would be easy to pull them before their true ending . Still very smokable at this stage now but i am confident that they will have a second flush of fresh pistils any day now. There are signs of it starting on a couple of the mains so i will be using the Dragon force to support this for about 7 days , which is designed to boost them at their finishing stages. I rate this product and use it every grow. Well worth a look. The natural fading and the temperature drops at lights off are creating some amazing colours throughout the canopy now too. Thankfully experience allows me to enjoy this kaleidoscope of autumnal colours and not panic that I have a major deficiency going down. There are some nicely cannabalising leaves in the canopy too which is also a good sign that they are performing just as nature intended and gorging on the stored goodness from the big fans left on. They are a multi purpose leaf for the whole process from veg to finish , they change their role as the grow progresses and as soon as she notices that they are taking more to keep alive and become a sink instead of a gain , she will cannabalising the stores built up and shed the leaf herself. This is why I get stuck with the whole defoliation debate. Forum Stomper & Double Grape was my first grow ever. DG was stunted from the. jump and produced small nudges with barely any bud but it was super sticky stinky and frosted! I ended up using for concentrate. FS was amazing super chunky and big gave me no real problems growing. Drying and curing was very hard as I could not keep temps low as I'm in a small space and couldn't afford to have my ac below 70degrees

Looking allot better this week! Going to keep the ph a little hogher tward 6.4 also finally got all the males out and everything sexed so i am ready for transplant! I have 6 females from each of the 12 seeds popped from each strain! Great ratio Still have a pretty bad knat infestation after a couple of sprays and i also read neem oil negatively affects microbes in the soil so im going to swich back to grow safe a brand i have used before and i know will work in 2-3 sprays max

I will do that for a while because you still have time until there is space in the bloom tent 😅. They were watered twice a week with 1-1.2 l each time (see table above for nutrients). Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. OMG THE CRYSTALS! Wow first time using any carbohydrates on hydro. I even went with a low dose of 5ml per gal to top it off! The buds grew funky shaped not sure why. But they are really filling in now! And the smell is amazing. Prob 5x stronger then the monther plant that finished flowering in soil not hydro. Hopefully the video uploads in the quality its recorded in, watch the end

Gibt nicht viel zu erzählen die Ladys laufen ganz OK leichte Probleme mit dem Ph Wert (im Abfluss wasser der Töpfe), mal schauen wie ich das etwas runter gedrückt bekomme will die Ladys nicht unbedingt spülen in der Phase. Zum Geruch die lady die vorne links steht riecht nacht Erde, Moos-artig mit einem intensiven typischen Gras Geruch, sie ist aber auch gute 10 cm kürzer als die anderen. Denke mal das sich da mehr indica in der Genetik befindet. Die anderen 3 riechen identisch nach was tropischem, mehr die frucht Note kann es schlecht beschreiben wie ein multi vitamin Saft der mehr Banane und ananas enthält und dadurch so ein cremigen Abgang entwickelt dazu mischt sich der typische gras Geruch und es wird von Tag zu Tag intensiver 🤤🤤🤤🤤 wen das so weiter geht ziehe ich mit Sack und Pack in mein Zelt ein und wohne mit da drinnen😂😂😂 euch noch nen schönes Wochen Ende growmies

Welcome to week 10 and week 4 of the flowering period of my Zamnesia Runtz grow😁 Last changes seems to have a possitiff effect an the plants. 2 liters a plant a feeding seems to be a little to much considdering that my RH is getting a little to high over 50% now it raises to 60 when the light are off and going to 45 with lights on. Considdering to defoliate i but more but not sure. Day 27😁😁 Every thing is going better by the day. RH is now between 42 en 47. She likes the nutes but i gave her a little to much so i lowered it a bit. Now it's time for bud fattening😍 she already started a bit and i am seeing differce day by day. Next defoliation scheduled to release light on the mid-low nodes. The nutritional regime continues AN + organic top dress, stable pH monitoring.

This is a fantastic train, and I am excited to see how the drying process goes, I used the New Horti Line from Green Planet Nutrients; this was dead easy to use, and extremely stable, harvesting 10 plants grown in a 4x4, and the yield was fantastic, but could have doubled that with additional space, I was still able to put 2314 grams of wet flowers into the dry tent. I am trying to keep the environment as close as possible to 60F / 60% RH, but with the current temperatures, I will be lucky to keep it around 65. I am looking forward to the terpenes moving towards the skunky aromas.

Let's go. Started a couple more of these I had. The last time growing them I thought they'd make an exception extraction strain for fresh frozen rosin. The flowers where nice and pungent smelling but not to dense. Heavy Yileder as well. Will see how they do this run. All In all Happy Growing.
