This girl has exploded this week new buds whizzing off in all directions , She has just started too go cloudy but no amber as of yet , so I would say I started too flush way too early as she has now been having nothing more than water for the last two weeks but it doesn't seem too have stopped her in anyway but who knows she may have produced more bud ? But I am very happy with what she has and you would be happy for this result from a photoperiod plant , she has developed what looks like corn shooting out of every bud in all directions , looks mad I've just read it's called foxtailing and it's genetic on purple strains not light or heat stress , Looks amazing Update , Really starting too show the early flush now week 3 of nothing but clean water , she is now in full swing of eating her leaves all cloudy and about 4% amber , so it seems another week for this girl and I clearly started to flush a week early , but doesn't seem too have slowed her down

8/3 Went over to treat the 10th planet that needed water with plant doctor around 10:30. I was in the garden at 6 but didn't have much time. That plant seems to be curled up or "droopy". It DID need water. I defoliated a few sep leaves off it but I didn't see any today. I guess I don't ever really see the leaves "up" or praying like I do with the rest of tge plants. It's starting to flower like the rest though. Today is the day everything is supposed to get its second or third plant doctor dose but I decided to wait until they need the water. I don't think 24hrs will mean much. I've been staying on top of defoliation but I'm seeing some pillar damage. I'd like to spray bt but what my buddy said about spraying with septoria is still in my head. Maybe I can use citric acid. That way it won't "wash away" spores it will just eat them. At least I think. And I hope lol. Birds get most of the pillars but I hand pick some too. I need to pick up nutes. Wondering if I should just get grow big again. I don't use much but plants are switching to flower and leaves are fading. I have big bloom and kool bloom bit neither have nitrogen. I still need some sort of nitrogen. Especially since that could be a deficiency. Not sure if it's the transition or a condition with the sep. I see some interior small leaves bleeding out and some dying. I'm wondering if what I thought was earwig damage years prior was really a combo of sep and they just ate the evidence. I'm super grateful though. I've got some resilient girls and they're doing well. The special kush in flower is gorgeous as well. Looks like I'll have an early plant. Short flowering time on this strain. Smells pungent. 8/4 Treated everything in the garden with plant doctor except the 10th planet I got yesterday. I need to take a closer look at that plant. It rarely looks "happy" like my others. I'll check it again later. 3tsp per gallon and 1gal a plant. The 10s got a half gallon. This seems to be working great. I have some defoliation to do on the tenth planet I was talking about earlier. Everything is in some form of flower. The flowers on that early special kush are getting bigger. I'll update this later. UPDATE: WENT BACK OVER AT NOON TO TAKE A LOOK AT THAT OTHER 10TH PLANET TO SEE IF IT PICKED UP AT ALL. IT DID. IM GLAD I CAME OVER TO CHECK THOUGH. MAKES ME FEEL BETTER. THE OTHER 10TH PLANET LOOKS HORRIBLE O. FILM FROM ONE ANGLE LOL BUT ITS REALLY A GREAT LOOKING PLANT AND IM USUALLY FILMING AT LIKE 6AM. JIST WANTED TO STICK UP FORCMY GIRL AND HER BAD HAIR DAY. ITS BEEN HIT AND A FEW OF HER LEAVES ARE TACOED. SHE GOT HER FIRST "PREVENTATIVE" DOSE OF PLANT DOCTOR WHICH WAS HALF A TSP/GALLON. IT REALLY SEEMS TO BE DOING SUBSTANTIALLY BETTER. EVERYTHING IS. IM HAVING TO LOOK HARDER AND AM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING LEAVES EFFECTED BY SEPTORIA. KNOCK ON WOOD. IM EXCITED. THIS IS GOING BETTER THAN I THOUGHT. IM STILL GOING TO BE MONITERING LIKE I USUALLY DO. 8/5 Watered the 10th planet I dodnt get yesterday. Looked and didn't see any sep leaves. Phone was dead so I vouldnt do a video. Went back over at like 130pm and did a quick video and checked out the girls. Everything is looking good and transitioning well. I WANT to use a diy Dr. Zymes with citric acid as I've noticed a few pillars. Only reason I've hesitated is because my buddy said not to spray it. But if what I spray it with "eats" it I would think it's ok. But what do I know. Birds get a great deal of them. I watch them on the camera sit on the cage and wait for one to stick it's head up before snatching it up. Still need to get either more grow big or a bloom product with nitrogen. I was able to defoliate that other 10th planet of anything suspect. It's hard work but it's worth it in the end. 8/6 It's like 81 at 4pm. I didn't have time to video this morning but i went back over. WATERED EVERYTHING THIS BUT THE 50 AND THE 10TH PLANET I GOT YESTERDAY. Temps are supposed to pick up soon and it will be in the 90's again. We've had like NO rain. I searched for leaves that had signs of sep to defoliate. I may find one or two but for the most part things are doing great. Overall I'm happy.

*WEEK 1 DAY 6 OF FLOWER* Flipped the light to 12/12 6days ago and started scrogging I also gave her quite a huge defol 5days after the switch for better light penetration and airflow, for the first week everday ill be checking on the canopy any tops that are growing too tall compared to others will be trained underneath the scrog net, resulting in even light penetration throughout the whole canopy giving lower buds better light and of course the main reason - keeping the plants small :) started to implement the boost additives to boost K intake and i have also added a exhale co2 bag above the canopy to hopefully boost the co2 levels and promote faster, better growth! the deficiency i mentioned in the last week of veg, is not looking to get worse or worsening hmmmm strange effected leaves have been removed and overall she looks great! i dont wanna get to ahead of myself yet! as we still have a long way to go, but for my first run as from up to know i am pretty happy with myself and the growth of plant, i see so many growers with basic and even really bad deficiencys/diseases from early growth! even throughout there whole growth cycle... yes i have noticed a few weird things throughout the cycle but nothing extreme no NPK deficiencys so i am really pleased with this run! roll on the next ;) Wish me further look guys, Lets Grow!

Sie ist jetzt geerntet. Da ich z.Zt. sehr eine niedrige RLF habe, hab ich die Pflanze zum trocknen im Stück aufgehangen und nur noch ein paar größere Blätter entfernt. Den polyploiden Ast hab ich gestern schon raus genommen und nass getrimmt, da er dicht gewachsen war und ich es jetzt nicht auch noch riskieren wollte, das da etwas schimmelt. Sie hängt jetzt bei 20°C und etwa 40% RLF, was nach neuesten Erkenntnissen sicherer und besser als 16/60 ist.

Zdarec, tak holky ty vedra po přesazení zvládají celkem dobře, včera dostali zálivku a zítra když nesprchne dostanou znovu napít. Jelikož už jsou v hlíně dám větší dávku fishmixu. Zatím čaues.

was a solid week. all green, all happy. the birthday cake auto seems to be coming around. so today i set the lights to 12 12 .. lets see how the flower. ive done all what i can in ability and space to set them up i hope. i find mixing nutrients in calcium water (thicker density, almost milk,) produces a quicker visible result in the plants and also you seem to get less variation in how they take the days feed. Die dritte Woche der Blüte startet und die Ladies bekommen ihre Mischung aus Orgatrex und Bactrex. Auch hier deaktiviere ich rechtzeitig die Bewässerung, gebe erstmal die Hälfte der Nährstoffe und ein paar Tage später die andere Hälfte. (Die Red Mandarine bekommen die selbe Behandlung, nur eine Woche nach hinten versetzt.) Die Ladies haben einige Blätter verloren und ein zweites Netz bekommen - das Leben ist ein geben und nehmen. Die Lampe läuft auf ca 170w Leistung.

Week 4: Started adding Humboldt Secret Golden Tree at 600 ppm. The plant started bushing out from the LST so I defoliated whatever green wasn't getting any light and to expose light to smaller nodes. I was planning on topping this week but to my surprise the plant had created a third axil/node and axillary branch.

For 6 plants I got 415 grams which is so far, again my most yield to date. I think the light is deffo a factor plus the genetics help. It says it has up to 27% THC, it was deffo one of my favourites and I think I’ll be growing this again in the future. I’m terrible of explaining the smell and taste but it was really danky and a lot of my mates loved it.

[ Introduction ] Welcome to my first ever grow journal! I have been growing medically for the past couple years, documenting some of my grows on my Facebook and Instagram (@OnlyTomatoes) pages, as well as several cannabis cultivation subreddits. I've found that I do a lot of things differently than other growers, so I'd like to share a full cycle publicly in case I have the answers to somebody's questions. [ Updates ] Day 4 - Lights have been lowered to 18 inches off canopy, dimmed to 25%. They've recovered from both their transplant and their topping, new growth looks almost perfect. I'm going to keep the accidental sunflowers for a few more days and see if there's any significant difference between plants. They all received a foliar spray of neem, kelp, and a bit of calmag before lights off yesterday. I expect to be able to remove the remaining damaged leaves by the end of this week. Day 7 - Lights increased to 30%, C02 increased to 800ppm, getting ready for week 2 of veg. Fed today, fairly low EC (<1.5) blend of Silica, Calcium, Kelp, Molasses, and Tribus Grow in a mixture of R/O and tap water. Very little runoff at 1gal per pot. Will most likely foliar again before lights off with a light fish hydrolysate mixture to help with any nitrogen issues. Any dead or dying leaves you see are from pre-transplant, I'm just waiting a few days longer for the existing rootballs' ph levels to swing back to a healthy range before removing all that unsightly growth. I'm really not sure when I'm going to remove the sunflowers growing in some of the pots, I've seen no negative effects yet. I could flip group 1 into flower if I wanted, the canopy is level and beautiful, however group 2 will take a while longer to fill a canopy. Normally I would never allow pre-veg plants to have such obvious deficiencies, but constant hand watering led to some poor nutrient decisions on my part. They've been in their final pots for a few days now and were topped on day 0 of veg. I plan on lowering the lights to 18"-24" within canopy around day 3, I'm just allowing some extra time for the roots to really dig in. I've found that a batch of dirt that was used had sunflower seeds in it, possibly winter food storage from an outside rodent, so I'm debating how long I will let these sunflower seedlings grow alongside my plants. They do make a good cover crop with amazing root systems, I just don't think that really applies in pots of this size where plants can choke each other out.

4th week of Flower is over. Observing some darkening on the tips of the Yellow Orange. Checked ph of the soil and my nutrient plan again. They seem to be fine. My guess is that it is either some sort of light stress or just a genetic trait. I slightly increased the height of the light. I would hardly believe that it is a day-night temperature difference effect. Let’s see how it goes in the coming weeks. Target VPD is still set to 1,5 with 24 Celcius Target Temp. Except for drying, curing, and smoking, this concludes my Medusa F1 grow. I harvested the plant on day 92. Overall, the plant was a thrill to watch grow. It thrived from day one, and I am more than happy with a wet yield of 336 grams given my setup. The buds are large, dense, laden with trichomes, and they have a great calyx-to-leaf ratio. I discovered a few mites on this plant and its neighbor (a Milky Way F1) in the last 7-10 days. However, the Medusa F1 resisted them so well that they barely multiplied. Or, if they did multiply, they left the Medusa for the Milky Way. The final proof of my efforts will be in the dry yield and quality of smoke. Sometimes I trim wet and sometimes I trim dry. In this case, I'm going to dry trim, so I just cut the plant and hung it upside down from a line in an out-of-the-way room that I can keep dim. There is a little circulation in the room via floor registers. I will return in due time with a dry weight and smoke report. SMOKE REPORT After drying for 6-7 days, I dry-trimmed and jarred up my Medusa F1 harvest. It was a breeze to trim because of its high calyx-to-leaf ratio. To me, that's a big plus. After 11 days in the jar, I had one bud lab-tested for potency, and then decided to proceed with my smoke report out of excitement at seeing the numbers (see below & photos). I added a ton of photos and one video to this smoke report (trimming setup, dried buds in and out of jars, proof-of-smoke video). Regarding taste and aroma, the buds smell mildly of herbs (sandalwood?) and pepper, and the same aromas carry over in the smoke. Regarding potency & effects, the bud I sampled (3 pulls) was quite strong, non-drowsy, and it came on in a quick rush. The rush peaked about 5-10 minutes after smoking, and I would describe the high as "stoney" in the traditional sense, but also "up." For about half an hour, the effects were enough to disrupt my focus -- definitely a strong high. Then, my focus returned and the sensations changed to a milder pleasant buzz, which lasted a couple hours before tapering off. The material smoked left behind nice white ash. POTENCY TESTING RESULTS TAC: 22.5% THC-A: 21.8% CBG-A: .68% Terpenes: Medium (1-2%)
