Environmental Conditions: Keeping Things Balanced This week has been about maintaining a steady environment despite the natural slowdown in growth due to cooler temperatures. • Temps: Daytime 18–20°C, nighttime 14–16°C. It’s a bit chillier than usual, but these resilient ladies are adapting beautifully. • Humidity: Stable at 65%, ensuring the girls remain hydrated and comfortable. • Airflow: Gentle but constant to keep the space fresh and prevent any stagnant air pockets. Feeding Program: Aptus Holland Perfection Feeding remains consistent, and the girls are loving the organic-mineral lineup from Aptus Holland. Still no cloning or flipping to 12/12 yet, as I want them to grow a bit more before making any big moves. FBA 2025 turned Frostbanger was a fun grow in many ways. First, my friend gifted me the seed and I grew outside while she grew inside. It was fun to watch the plants grow in different settings and different growing methods. If you have been following me, then you know our weather has been crazy here. We have had lows of 50* and highs of 90*. We had a hail storm and lots and lots of rain. Today, I was. forced to take my Frostbanger down. I found a couple of buds rotting and it is supposed to rain for the next 4 days, so this grow has come to an end. But first, true to Frostbanger's description, "Just keep in mind, this strain’s dank, pungent odor is super strong—meaning a carbon filter is a must to mask the aroma in any grow room and she’ll make her presence known when grown outside" and boy did my backyard smell. Also, just like its name, it is a "trichome-studded beauty." Sticky, sticky, sticky. It also had a nice fruity smell, almost like a cantaloup. I like to wet trim, so I spent the past 2 days trimming. My wet bud weight is 102.19 ounces. Not A big harvest. Had to throw away some bud rot and I had to take this plant down early --But that is how a hail storm, cold weather, hot weather, Rain and more rain will effect a harvest. I'm happy to be somewhat successful. FYI: today's weather: It has rained 2.05 inches in the past 24 hours and expecting 1.6 inches in the next 24 hours.. I am pretty proud of Frostbanger's cola as it is 10 inches long and approximately 9 inches around. Wish I could have seen it with 2 more weeks of growth. I may not have the growing experience of others, but I am super happy with this grow and glad I could enter a contest. It was fun!

La compactación es muy notable en toda la canopia, mientras los cálices terminan de hincharse, aportando ese último empuje antes del cierre definitivo. La resina sigue aumentando y cubre completamente las flores, con tricomas mayoritariamente lechosos y una presencia de ámbar aún moderada, indicando que la maduración está avanzada pero todavía con un pequeño margen antes del punto óptimo de corte. La planta comienza a reducir ligeramente su actividad, manteniendo aún una buena absorción, pero enfocándose ya en afinar calidad, densidad y expresión aromática. El aroma se intensifica y se vuelve más profundo y definido, mostrando ya gran parte de su perfil final, aunque aún puede evolucionar un poco más. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

I like to take CBD especially in the form of oil but we thought of growing some CBD autoflowering both for medical use, for cooking etc. and to send to the most anticipated contest of the year in terms of autoflowering, the annual Barcelona autoflower world cup. Our Green Cure F1 Hybrid Automatic seems to be just right for us, let's see if it throws fire. Growing projects for autoflowering plants ----- As for autoflowering plants I really love preserving the Main Cola. So I will try to make the plants grow well or badly without affecting the main cola. Nowadays topping autoflowering plants is very accepted but it is not my favorite thing to transform a baby born to finish in 10 weeks into a baby that finishes in 14, I say at this point I do photoperiodic. But in times of people who only grow autoflowering everything is permitted for goodness sake if you want to do it, do it I won't be the one to stop you. Also because the results are excellent nothing to really discuss about anything except time. All this to tell us that I recommend for example fimming on plants that tend to grow tall to give power to the lateral branches, LST as much as you want, I don't like too much spread out I need space. HST and splitting are with experience. These are my tips not the absolute truth please do not mistake me for a great wise holder of the truth I speak as I see it. The first week went only with Power Roots 1 Ml/l and Pure Zym 1 ml/l from now on we will start with ALga Grow. The plants were transplanted shortly after germination because the biodegradable pots were very small. The soil is Plagron Pro Mix 100% organic renewed with 30% new soil and 20% Perlite added. (Pro mix has no perlite but is airy, we added it anyway) Plagron nutrients are available at Zamnesia in convenient pack formats for all growing styles. Flushed for about 10 days so she faded nicely and off to drying room ,very heavy flowers covered with trichomes definitely will grow this shain

Ok so I put a significant amount of time into this grow. Learned a ton (everything lol) as it was my first. After the final week, I decided to harvest when the trichs were milky and clear. Few amber here and there but time constraints meant I had to chop a bit earlier than I’d have preferred. I do prefer a more uplifting cerebral effect yet realize with an indica leaning strain, having all cloudy and maybe 25% amber would have been 👌🏼. My drying process began by chopping a plant at a time, I washed the buds to get the PM or traces off (also grime from outdoor city air). I used a big bucket and did hydrogen peroxide. In heindsight I would have used baking soda as well and did a two step wash. After washing them, I hung to dry with a fan until they stopped dripping then into the tent they went for drying at roughly 68 degrees and 55% humidity. I staggered the harvest and wet trimmed about 70% of the time with the latter 30% dry trimmed. This was done for convenience and to try both ways. I dried everything for about 12-13 days until the smallest stems snapped and the larger ones were borderline cracking. I started jarring everything with humidity meters, about a half oz per smaller widemiuth jam jar. The smell was never hay-like but did vary in strength and scent from plant to plant. Almost no seeds which was pretty great to see. One of the outdoor plants had quite a few seeds so I kept that separate. It ironically had the stinkiest floral smell. So what’s the total!! After curing in jars for about a month, I weighted everything and came out with 10.5oz of cured trimmed flower and about 2 oz of sugar leaf trim which I am making canna butter with and cooking. Made some reduculously strong cookies: 11 cookies from about 10 grams of trim. Ate two and was medicated for about 24hrs 😂. Some of the buds were super dense and cured down to 58 RH easily. There were a few of the large big buds that had mass but less density and fewer trichomes. These were more red-hair visually than the others. The smoke: surprisingly smooth. The effect is energizing and uplifting at first, with a nice sedative body feeling on the second half of things. Overall, I’m super happy with the result. Learned a TON and will be modifying my approach a bit next go-around this spring. Stay tuned!!!
