Presque tous ses pistils sont devenus orangés/bruns, ce qui est un signe clair que la plante approche de la fin de sa production de nouvelles calices. Ses feuilles commencent à montrer des signes de sénescence (jaunissement naturel), ce qui signifie qu'elle puise ses dernières réserves pour finir les fleurs. ​Plante #2 (La Petite) ​Taille : 33 cm (+3 cm depuis le 18/03). ​État : Bien que plus compacte, elle est extrêmement dense. Ses pistils sont encore majoritairement blancs et longs, ce qui indique qu'elle a encore un peu de temps pour gonfler par rapport à sa voisine. ​🔍 Mes observations ​Le filet de SCROG est maintenant totalement rempli. La production de résine est impressionnante, les têtes sont littéralement givrées et la couche de trichomes descend jusque sur les grandes feuilles. ​L'odeur sucrée de bonbon devient plus complexe et lourde. La Plante #1 semble prête à entamer sa phase de rinçage très bientôt, tandis que la Plante #2 profite encore pleinement du PK pour épaissir sa structure. On sent que la récolte approche à grands pas . 30/03 apport d'eau à la plante 1 1 litres PH 6,3

3/24: Got back last night from spring break. Plants looked a bit neglected, but kinda what I expected after a week of my absence. Me and my roommates had been gone for over a week so we had a friend water them and look over them while we were gone. Not certain how consistent temp/humidity/watering/nutes were but oh well, they don't look horrible. Plants had a decent amount of yellowing/dried leaves, but I'm assuming thats because of a heat wave we got earlier last week combined with irregular watering. Started snipping off a lot of that unhealthier growth last night, but got a decent amount of work left since the canopies are incredibly dense. If we reuse this same tent setup next year I think 6 plants max would definitely be more efficient for our light space. Super happy with how they're coming along but I think we have too many plants for our lights, and less plants would allow for more even canopy and light penetration, leading to similar yield and possibly higher average quality bud. Pretty difficult right now to get all the nodes enough light, but planning on probably using all the larf to make hash and eddies. Buds look pretty great though and leaves are starting to get sugary! Will upload more pictures later.

Very frosty and the buds are dense. She is starting her fade. I removed all the old leaves and moved her away from the fan. She is really bulky. The buds are so thick and heavy

week intel: every thing is amazing girls are ripening , we can now cause more e.c stress than before because: 1-plants are very mature now and can handle stress 2- at this week its the only stress that is helpful for increasing plant resins stresses : E.C stress around 1.6 and 1.7 3 times a week feeding: i replaced B-52 with Bloom Base Nutrient i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them high with base nutrients(calcium & micros (half dose) + Bloom) about 850 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them high dose of Top-Max + Bloom Base Nutrient around 877 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause stress . day 5 : i feed them high dose of Feeding Booster around 850 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause e.c stress again guide of the week : last weeks are time of ripening , and the only helpful stress is e.c stress at this moment

sound week on the soil. this grow is really lovely. starting to see some promising bud sites. I think i might trim too much but i want the buds to get the light. topped them and they recovered very fast. still yet to see some purple. dont want to mess with pH just yet

Flush week.

Currently waiting for the soil to dry out after the flush last week so only foliar feeding . It seems to be helping, I need to put aside a few hours to give both my remo chemo and purple CBD some love. Both got lockout from salt buildup and I need to sit down and trim any dead growth, some light LST and TDS and pH the runoff. The old growth is yellowing fast on this one so it better be soon! Otherwise she will lollipop herself! Day 70 - fed nutrients and pH water 6.2. Looks like I will have to do a bit more topping, she's stretching for the sky! Day 66- no water no food, just letting her dry out a bit as I suspect root issues, she's stretching to the sky though so aside from the nitrogen deficiency we're looking good! Day 68- she had dried out nicely, gave her some fish mix and liquid seaweed, 3ml/l and 4ml/l respectively, 2l feed. Have trimmed dead and dying growth. Just going to leave her to it for a week or two

01/08 The plants are growing strong and the topping was a success! I started using SCROG to help me bend the stems easily and it seems to be working like a charm! I adjested the feed as recommended by the manufacturer and they seem to take it just fine 04/08 I've been away the past couple of days, it's been hot and the babies were thirsty! I decided to change to final 18L pots so I give them plenty of time to accommodate before flowering. The plants look healthy, no sign of anything wrong, I just think they needed water. I kept the same soil composition, kept the same feeding and we'll see in a couple of days how they recover.

I harvested the 2 last gorilla Zkittlez and 1 blue sherbet x purple punch. One gorilla Zkittlez was more one the sativa "shape". I let the buds dry on a net during 3/4 days after that few days in a wood box. After few days pit the buds on a jar with an hygrometer.

Another week now in true solo mode since Takti got removed from the tent as he went bananas. Development on Samy is good though. Hopefully there won’t be any seeds.

This week was very well, the girl showed her first pistils and she's stronger and healthier than ever, so: Day 30 sprayed with bioprotect Day 31 watered with 3l of water with 6 ml of bh, bg an a-v Day 33 The first pistils are appearing sign that blooming phase has begun. Day 34 water with the mix Day 35 I've turned on the dehumidifier trying to decrease the humidity and starting to defoliated some lower leaves, 3/4 leaves per day stress the plant to much. New week, The plants have been moved and the lighting cycle adjusted to finish flowering. Lots of surprises with the free seeds and even the ones I bought. The autoflowering ones are all different; it's a real mixed bag. I still have a few autoflowering seeds to grow, and then it's time for feminized seeds and crossbreeding varieties for my own creations...

💀💀 DISASTER 💀💀 -Also the Autoflowers have started to flower! ⚘⚘⚘ ⚘⚘⚘ I went away for the weekend, and came back to 50L inside my tent!!! Thank goodness, I have the water proof tray liner installed. Something happened, I think one of the Auto-pot valves got stuck open. I took them all out, cleaned them top to bottom, and in some cases, re-trimmed the hosing to have a perfectly straight end. A few were slightly slanted. So they went 2 days without water or humidity, as the flooding killed my Humidifier (there goes 100 bucks 😭) I didn't take any pictures of the flood, as I was in hardcore mode trying to clean it up. This week also had other challenges, where I live has been having a brutal cold snap and I had issues keeping my house and my tents in good temperature ranges. Week 6 has been very difficult. 🌳 The plants still grew about 5 inches this week. 🌳 I had a plant that was smaller than the rest, by a significant amount, I found out during the clean up, that the air flow had been restricted to the line, so it wasn't getting oxygen. I'm hoping this allows the plant to catch up, and its not genetics!

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. The exact heritage of any cultivar today is impossible to determine accurately. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations.
