Going great so far for this girl. She’s progressing along quickly compared to the Cement Shoes growing beside her. Buds are already looking like there plumping up and most of the hairs are beginning to turn. Haven’t put the scope to her yet but It’s looking like she’s gonna finish earlier then I predicted. Gonna try and push it 8 weeks but all depends on my tricombs. Getting low on supply as well so that will also going to have to effect my decision unfortunately. But we will see, still got lots of honey left from the shake so gonna be a week of just dabing maybe to let this girl finish rite...lol Been keeping the nutrients pretty much the same this week as the last 2, trying to keep the reservoir around 750ppm and letting the ph swing from 5.8-6.2. She’s loving everything so far. Got a bit of heat stress showing on some larger leaves in the middle of the screen but light is maxed out higher wise and DLI is in the 65-75 range directly under the light at the canopy top but the light mover helps keeps things from heating up too much and gives them breaks like a cloud over the sun does. 🌿 Week 11: Frosty Heights & Real Talk (Flower Week 6) First off, apologies for the slight delay! Usually, I drop these updates on Monday, but I was out celebrating my 25th birthday yesterday and, well... let’s just say things got a little out of control, haha! But I'm back in the tent now, and the girls didn't seem to mind the extra day of peace. Welcome to Week 11. We are deep in the flowering phase (Week 6), and the tent is looking like a winter wonderland. But let’s keep it real – while the frost is insane, it hasn't been a "perfect" run since it’s my first experience with living soil. Here’s the honest breakdown. 🛠️ The Big Defoliation & Adjustments The canopy got so thick that I had to perform one last major defoliation. I removed a significant amount of the large fan leaves that were shading the lower bud sites. It’s always a tough call this late in the game, but it was absolutely necessary to get that light penetration down to the secondary colas and improve RH. Combined with raising the entire tent to save the tops from light stress, the environment is now much more balanced. If you look closely at some of the upper leaves, you can still see a bit of "tacoing" (curling edges) from the previous light intensity and buds on the top of the sweet spot are not very well bulked because of heat stress by light. I caught it likely and the "scars" remained. 🌱 Organic Struggles & Success The "Autumn Fade" is hitting harder than I expected. The remaining fan leaves are yellowing quite aggressively. In living soil, this usually means the nitrogen is running low what I read as the plant focuses everything on the buds. I’m letting nature take its course, but I’ll keep an eye on it to make sure they have enough gas to reach the finish line. • The Scrog Management: My canopy isn't perfectly level. I have a few "underdogs" getting shadowed by the main colas even after the defoliation. It’s a lesson for next time – I need to be even more aggressive with LST early on to keep everything in one uniform plane. 📊 Stats & Environment: • Genetics: Banana Purple Punch Auto (FastBuds) • Status: Bulking phase. • RH: Dropped to 45%-40% – absolutely critical now to prevent any bud rot in these dense clusters. • Temp: 22-26°C. • Aroma: A heavy mix of tropical fruit sweets and gassy undertones. Au 63e jour, tout semble se dérouler sans accroc, à l'exception d'une de nos gorillas qui, de manière inattendue, a vu ses feuilles jaunir et se flétrir en seulement trois jours. Cet incident mystérieux reste inexpliqué, surtout que sa consœur, bénéficiant exactement du même traitement, prospère sans le moindre signe de mécontentement. Heureusement, notre protagoniste végétal se décide enfin à concentrer ses efforts sur le développement de ses précieuses têtes, marquant le terrain avec l'apparition des premiers trichomes. Cette attente, teintée d'impatience, ouvre déjà les portes à une nouvelle aventure qui se profile à l'horizon d'ici, je l'espère, 2 semaines. Remarque : engrais au 3/4 de la dose recommandée. Une gorilla a vu toutes ses feuilles jaunir rapidement que j'ai defolié. L'autre se porte très bien. Peut être un champignon 🍄 Arrosage a l'eau claire pour voir le comportement des 2 par la suite.

Hey now, hope everyone has been well. Super excited football season is finally here so things are about to get busy. I went out of town for 4 days and the plants struggled a little bit with the PH getting slightly too high before I returned. I also came back to see that some type of insect was munching away on the lower leaves of this little Sundae Driver, so I sprayed the plant and coco with neem oil, but hopefully they didn't do much damage before I can get them under control I have never experienced insect problems indoors, likely because I grow in Coco and not Soil. However, I left a 5 gallon airpot full of coco from a previous grow outside for a couple weeks by mistake, and pretty sure bugs got into. I won't make that rookie mistake again. Anyways the rest of the ladies are looking pretty good, They are almost getting what I consider a full dose of nutrients, even though it half of the manufacturers recommended dosage. I am feeding all Gen Hydro cal mag, Armor Si, and maxi grow. I also add some food grade hydrogen peroxide to keep the reservoir fresh for around 10 days or so but I clean it once a week. Not sure why GD website doesn't allow me to enter GHE under the old or new name. I did get all the ladies transplanted from solo cups to airpots on day 16, and it took 24 hours or so for them to recover from the transplant and start growing again. I am running 3 of the 3.4 gallon, and 2 of the 5.4 gallon just because that is what I had available. I hopefully top them all sometime this week for the first time, as soon as the roots are a little stronger. I let them grow to 7 nodes or so before I top them and make sure they're growing fast. Hopefully I can still mainline the Sundae Driver, she looks healthy other than those two leaves chomped off. All the plants are on their 5th nodes, except for the Green Crack 2.0 which is only on her 4th node. We got another heat wave coming through my region that I am not too excited about but at least its earlly in the game and I don't need to crank this light up yet. I am only running it at 30% and its putting off plenty to keep these ladies happy. Hoping to get a topping done this week, then another one next week, and be ready to flip to flower by week 7 or so. #3 getting harvested soon. Deofliated sixty-some leaves from green to yellow and then went into the dark for 48h. #2 is still gonna take a few weeks, Lots of nutes to slow down yellowing of the leaves. She will probably end up quite fluffy

11/03 - Mother moved into her own 17 gallon tote - running lights on dome and in tote - super topped - running high humidity and high temps - nute feeds are the same - tied down all 4 coles thus far. 11/06 - tote dome is holding up nicely - transplanting into 7 gallons and 2x2 tent swap. 11/09 - Opened up the lid more to give her space to blow out from the sides - Blitz humidity for about a week (90%) - Temps running 89F - Clean water feed for the week.

Finally able to water again this week. Got the humidity down to 55%. They responded very well to the feed, noticed a big change within 24hrs. They're all looking very strong.

Gibt mir letztendlich dann mehr Zeit für Trainingsmethoden, wenn sie langsamer unterwegs ist. Zudem hat sie im Gegensatz zur BPP nicht gespargelt und keine nekrotischen Flecken auf den ersten Blättern.

Earlier in the week, I saw a discolored bud, and upon closer inspection, I found bud rot. Ugh. I immediately cut off the infected bud and the one closest to it. I looked through the canopy but couldn't see any more affected buds. Right after, I went out of town for a few days to Mary Jane, the big Cannabis Conference in Berlin. It was the first one after legalization, and it was wild. I had an awesome time, and it was great to meet up with friends while in Berlin. What wasn't so great was seeing more signs of budrot when I returned home—those days of +85% humidity at the start of last week made the botrytis go brr. Sigh :( Checking the trichomes showed it was still early to harvest, but I decided to chop anyway to save the unaffected buds. I also decided to hang each branch separately, as it would allow me to inspect each one closely to ensure no affected buds made it into the drying tent. Another reason is to decrease the drying time. Usually, I prefer a long dry, but due to botrytis, I aim to speed up the process. Overall, I found 12-15 affected buds, and of course, they're always the nicest-looking buds. I don't care about the yield loss, as more than enough is still left. I only hope the remaining buds are unaffected, and I'll inspect them daily throughout the dry. Now we wait. And hope.

This week I was wondering why the tops looked funny but it looks burned so I chopped the top cola off the afgan kush. It was too crispy and all the holes from the dead pistils made me think it Hermed and those were all seeds. Found some little white maybe beginning of seeds but not sure because it wasn’t many. I tried snipping a sugar leaf a few weeks back and accidentally snipped the bud a little so I might have caused that bud to stress. I’m almost done so I’m just hoping the others in the tent don’t get affected if it pollinated itself at all. I might chop the top of the zkittlez off too and let the bottoms finish off for a week or two longer when I drop the lights down some. For no I just tied the big cola to the side. I need to get a par reader and get on my Ppm meter too because so far I’ve grown 3 plants without those and just guessing based on the packaging lol. I feel like it’s been relatively smooth for the circumstances tho and happy that I could at least smoke all of them so far.
