This was the girls last week of Veg. ❤️ I did a big defoliation, the lit in my 4x4 custom SCROG netting and started tucking and bending the tops down to fill the spaces. They were looking pretty scraggly for a day or two after the defoliation, but within a few days the screen was filling out. I have a daily routine of lights on, tuck and bend, no weaving and then just before lights out I’ll do the same. Temps were good, watering has been vigorous. They are very thirsty! Feeding about 1 1/2 gallons every feed now, the 4 gallon pots are a bit undersized but I wanted to see what could Come of These slightly taller pots, rather than the wider regular sized pots. Haven’t had to add humidity this week, pretty consistent around 60%. At the end of the week I changed the light cycle to a 12/12 for flowering ❤️👊🇨🇦

~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. For a more detailed and accurate description of this strain the following from FastBuds says it best: "Combining the massive stature of Papaya (Oni Selection) with the strength and resilience of one of our best keeper cuts (Sunset Sherbet), this strain develops into a big, expansive bush adorned with numerous bud sites that later transform into a generous harvest of medium-sized buds. Papaya Sherbet flowers deliver a signature flavor of premium cannabis with subtle citrus undertones that emerge upon inhaling. During growth, her aroma makes for a sweet yet pleasantly bitter fragrance, giving you an idea of what the smoke will taste like. Notably stress-resistant, Papaya Sherbet is a great choice for growers working in challenging environments. She is very forgiving and rebounds quickly from any adversity, allowing growers the freedom to experiment with confidence that she will take everything like a champion she is. This strain embodies resilience, flavor, and abundant yields in every grow cycle." Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 9/28- The Seventh week of flower is here for the Papaya Sherbet Fem Photo by FastBuds and this lady is looking glorious! 9/30- The weather continues to be cool which is great, the downside is at night we're having heavy dew, which has me concerned about Boytris setting in so I'll start monitoring the flowers daily, removing any showing even the slightest sign of rot beginning. 10/2- My daily routine of watering, removing dead foliage and checking over the Papaya Sherbet continues. 10/4- With the seventh week of flowering behind her now, the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod is quickly approaching the end of the road! Next week I will be monitoring the trichomes to try to dial in the ideal harvest time, and at the same time keeping my fingers crossed that she isn't overcome with Boytris... 🤞🤞 Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! 💚Growers Love!💚😎🙏

This beautiful girl turned out to be a real strong queen who withstood very strong stresses, she is very persuasive for ScrOG, in 2-3 days when she comes out of the stresses I will switch the light cycle to 12/12.💚💚💚

The plant got very little care this week as I was away for work. I installed a automated drip system 2 wewks prior and it had been working a treat...until I leave that is as I suspect after the first one or two scheduled waters the timer flipped out and reset itself🤬 I have no idea why. Eitherway the plant got no water at all for 4 days., about 1.1 litres to be precise, well under 1 days requirement . As I have a remote cam setup I could see what was going on, I could see the plant suffering from underwatering but I could do nothing about it. And as this like all my grows are stealth grows because of the kids and wife I couldn't exactly have mates drop by to do🤣 Super painful it was to watch anyhow, captured for my suffering in the video. All ended well after a feed and everything is back on track. Maybe the plant thrived from the brief period of underwatering as the growth was crazy immediately after. As far as temps were concerned this week, there were 2 hot days where internal tent temperatures would've reached 30+ and cold nights just over zero. Honestly I've given up monitoring as there's nothing I can do about the heat when growing in a tin garden shed and when cold the bar heaters easily increase the temp by close to 15c from what it is outside. Good news is the cold days out numbered the warm and helped alot especially with the lack of watering. Thank you gunja gods 🙏 A beast this thing has become! Way bigger than I hoped for, way bigger than I need but I'll accept it's offerings eitherway when the time is right.

12/03/19 So there hasn't been a lot going on in terms of healthy growth. It seems I've been giving nutrients too often and that the pH of my water is too high (7.8) resulting in a Calcium defficiency and stunted/abnormal growth. Following some great advice from Bulbi to one of my questions. I've bought some Cal-mag and pH down to try and mitigate this issue, I've done the following :- : 1ml Cal-Mag to 1l of Water per plant : 2ml Cal-Mag to 1l of spray bottle to be used infrequently : I haven't pH reduced on this watering as I noticed the Cal-Mag slightly reduces the pH, so to not shock the plants I'll lower the pH marginally on the next 2 feeds untill it's at 6.5 : Raised the light to 45cm : Changed the lighting schedule to 18/6 Let's hope these few changes will bring these lil babys back to life! I'll post some mid-week pictures to show any difference.

The BMR sisters are in overdrive, it's looking like stretch has stopped now that we're 14 days into stretch, and the canopy is wonderfully uniform, nothing else to say this week except everything is looking great!

12/21/25 some of the plants have a really strong dominance for one side of the plant compared to the other. They seem mostly happy and growing healthy. The lower branches have a tendency to grow larger than the tops and have started to crowd the tops a bit so I have used LST to try and let the tops grow a bit more. No feeding recently, just daily water from the auto drip irrigation from vivosun and the worms living in the soil. Check out my YouTube@ AestheticGenetiX Instagram @ Aestheticgenetix2

S2 beans are looking good. Will probably chop this weekend (so week 9 day 1-2) testers are good. Still feeding pk just slightly less so adding ph down again. I have stopped using ph down in flower as the soluble pk brings water down to 6.7 and beautiful. Nugs are pretty huge. Feels well above 30%.

Happy grow...😎
