This plant looks stunning, I love this strain, I enjoyed a lot last year, her flowers are absolutely 🔝 quality, and I love that strange sweet gasoline smell, I can't wait to transplant this lady and make her become a nice bush like I did last year, this lady has been Transplanted on day 34 since planted may 5th! Can't wait to start training this lady!

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Day 43 - Checked PPM 870. Plant is 37 inches tall. Day 44 - Added 10 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 5 mL of additives Bud Candy Sensizym Big Bud Nirvana and Rhino Skin. PPM is 1,250. Plant is 41 inches tall. Day 45 - Checked PPM 600. Plant is 42 inches tall. Day 46 - Checked PPM 635. Plant is 45 inches tall. Day 47 - Added 15 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 7 mL of the 5 additives. PPM is 1,590. Plant is 47 inches tall. Day 49 - Checked PPM 668. Plant is 50 inches tall.

Stretch is done and flowers are piling on now! I treated with lost coast as a preventative. I kept the feed the same but it will be altered end of grow week. Canopy is getting hella full can't wait to watch these colas stack on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Aug 23: Sunday Punch EV is very fast and is getting close to ready. The buds are getting quite big and are weighing down the branches. Without the Scrog net she would be too floppy for all these buds. Plants are a bit too green lately so maybe there’s too much N still, but she’ll grow out of it. For pH adjustments I use apple cider vinegar normally but I ran out last week and was using malt vinegar. That must be one of the sources of excess N so I switched to regular white vinegar. Anyway, she is a very impressive plant. Aug 27: getting noticeably frostier. Hot again today. Increased water volume to about 9 L per day done as three 3 L waterings in morning, afternoon and finally in evening. Adding potassium silicate still to water and adjusting pH with vinegar and then adding a squirt of Dr Bronners Peppermint Soap as a wetting agent (surfactant) and the smell supposedly keeps bugs away. Unfortunately there are hardly any insects around any more, so, yay. Aug 28: flash pics before using red light. Don’t do flash pics of your plants if you don’t follow it up with a red light. Still seems a bit risky but this is the fourth year doing it and it seems fine.

The prefect plant if you want something fruity with a short flowering time! This plant explodes in thc and even considering she was not in optimal conditions. I had some bugs, trips to be precise, so i applied neem, but the concentration was too high so i burned some leaves and stems 🤦 Finally the yield was highly affected due to the above mentioned, still the buds are amazing, highly covered in snow, specially from the smaller clones i had, the suggestion is to use support to ensure the plant can manage the buds
