Woche 2 / Tag 9 Die Sativa Diven zeigen Zähne (und nasse Füße) Hallo zusammen 👋 Meine drei kleinen Diven stehen jetzt seit 9 Tagen unter der Crescience Fluxshield 450C (sweet spot bisher 210ppfd– läuft super smooth bisher). •The Real Amnesia (Growers Choice die echte holländische Clone-Lineage •Mimosa Gusher (Growers Choice 50/50 Hybrid, aber mit dem citrus mint Gusher-Vibe) •Strawberry AKeil (Serious Seeds die Frosty-Strawberry AK Queen, stark sativa lastig) Leider hab ich’s mit dem Gießen mal wieder etwas zu gut gemeint.😅 Was auch der fehlenden zeit geschuldet war, sonst gibts langere anlaufzeiten für's substrat. Besonders die Real Amnesia zeigt’s deutlich an den Keimblättern die sind jetzt schön braun angehaucht und hängen ein bisschen schlapp. Klassischer Overwatering Look, Wurzeln haben zu wenig Luft bekommen folge; → Wachstum deutlich gebremst die letzten Tage. Aber: Sie steht’s durch! Kein richtiger Crash, nur ein kleiner Denkzettel für mich. Die anderen beiden (Mimosa Gusher und Strawberry Akeil) haben es besser weg gesteckt, sehen immer noch fresh und grün aus. Aktuelle Bedingungen: Licht: Fluxshield (ca. 28–32 cm) pH: bei 6.0 Temperatur: 24 °C rel. Luftfeuchte: ~75 % Zusätzlicher ungebetener Gast: Trauermücken haben sich eingeschlichen. Aber denen vergeht bald das Lachen 👹habe direkt mit Neemöl gestartet und Nematoden (Steinernema feltiae) kommen die tage. Die Combo wird in 7–10 Tagen richtig aufräumen. Bis dahin Gelbtafeln + oberste Schicht etwas trockener halten. Fazit dieser Woche: Die Sativa-Dominas brauchen eindeutig etwas weniger Zuneigung beim Gießen als meine alten Indica-Hybriden 😄 Real Amnesia hat den größten Kratzer abbekommen, aber ich bin zuversichtlich, dass sie in den nächsten 2-3Tagen wieder richtig Gas gibt, sobald die Wurzeln wieder frei Atmen können. Die Mimosa Gusher und vor allem die Strawberry Akeil sehen super vital aus und machen schon richtig Bock auf die nächsten Wochen. Nächste ToDos: Weniger ist mehr 😅 Licht auf 300ppfd erhöhen. Day 64 - I've been patiently waiting for the time to come, and it's finally here! Changed the lights over to 12/12 to send the tent into flower. Current light settings R99 W99 B50 as suggested by California Lightworks. I did a full reservoir change - switching over to bloom nutes. I also added some Si28 and P31 Microbes to the reservoir to test out this new product that I was fortunate enough to receive samples of. I've seen the results of others with crazy booming root growth.... Let's see what happens! Day 65 - I swear, it's like she's been waiting for me to flip the light cycle. I kicked one plant out of the tent so now there's even more room for improved air circulation and light distribution. This plant is a serious beast! Day 67/ Day 3 of Flower - Last massive round of defoliation before I sit back and let her do her thang. ✌️

Gelato from Original Sensible Seeds straight submerged 😳 9th of September: All good tap root is out some of them will be planted earlier because the root is coming faster and they will be in the mini pot first :) So-Si-Dos OG and Gelato from Original Senisble Seeds are planted in the mini pot tap root was perfect long. Runtz Gum also woth today. Two of them left so I will check out tonight :) End of the day I planted Black Ghost and Wedding Gelato as well. All of them planted now we just have to wait them to be out 🤪 Day 2: All of them out ❤️ Day 3: Opening up :)

This week started strong. Some small concerns due to small orange spots appearing on fan leaves which on researching indicates a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Will add a small amount of cal mag to their next feed

The Jack Herer is dense and frosty colas, covered in trichomes with a nice mix of cloudy heads. Compared to the Northern Lights, it clearly had more weight and resin, making the harvest very satisfying. For the last days, I only gave CalMag and plain water adjusted to pH 6.3

Mixing a ratio of 4ml start 5ml Katana / 1 litre water at PH of 6.2 Mix well and spray onto paper towels to soak, Fold paper towel in half & place seed inside & fold to cover so the seed is in darkness, Place damp paper towels with the seed inside a zip lock sandwich bag. I only had to wait 28 Hours and the seed had split She was planted into her 1st pot last night. Happy days, looks like a very good start 🏆 😵‍💫🤘🏼

Well, I really didn't have to do much with this Gal. She is very low maintenance. Very fruity, smelly and is full bodied. She lost some of her hardness after a 48hr dark rest, it has made her really sticky, and I was expecting this to happen as the leaf to calyx ratio is high in this pheno. But she makes up for it in smell, let's hope it tastes as nice. I'm not too worried About it not been, as the other 3 GFS I harvested were good, even if I marked 1 wrong. Have hung dry this gal whole, I let it dry out in the coco and took it apart (the pot) and broke away the substrate to leave the roots and let it dry as natural as I can with no stress. This my 1st time doing this, have done it on all 3, so let's hope wasn't a bad idea, will update on smoke report as soon as she's dry.

She's chugging along this week. A few more tirchomes on show and the buds have swelled noticeably. Had to add some scaffolding to support some stems.... On she goes........

Just as a preventative measure, I picked up some Botanicare Hydroguard to use in an attempt to supplement the roots and bring the pH of the soil down to where I want it. Personally, the pH remains just a tad too high for my liking this week. I would like it more in the range of 5.7-6.5 but I'll give it a week or so to see the reaction to the Hydroguard. I've continued with more LST on all but the Glookies #2. On this plant I simply did a topping. It was a risk, considering the plants isn't vibrantly healthy, but I need to maintain it's height. I also did a second topping to the American Pie #1. As can be observed from the photos, not all of the plants were shaped the same way. I got creative with the fabric pots and I decided to LST a few plants a little bit differently just to see which technique/style I liked the most. So far, I am digging the way the Jelly Bananen #1/#2 and American Pie #2 are shaping up. They are going to have a beautiful, wide canopy when they head into flower. I'm considering transplanting into 5 gallon fabric pots within the next week or two so I can flip them to flower two weeks later. My intuition is telling me this has been a pretty lengthy vegetative stage, thus far. I'm expecting all of my plants to double in size during the flowering stage, which should be anywhere between 65-70 days long. I made sure to select strains with similar flowering times (60-70 days). Long time extractor, first time growing (both s/o and myself). Already starting the next grow. This was one plant/pheno in a 4x4 sharing a 600w light @ 75% or less the entire time. Only tracking ONE PLANT this harvest but for reference - we pulled just over a lb dry weight total from all 4. End dry weight - Buds: 104 grams - Sugar Trim - 35 grams End flower rosin - 14.5 grams (1st press) - 1.2 grams (2nd press) [Press 96 grams] ~15% yield (not great but expected from autoflower) Chopped a little earlier than desired (10/70/20 amber/cloudy/clear profile) due to a scare of a nanner. Being new growers, we recently learned we could have plucked the nanner off and let it flower another couple weeks. Dried branches at 65-70f/55-60rh for 7 days then stored in grove bags until pressed in 37u micron bag, ~180f, 2.5min.
