21 september What a week...nothing but rain. MAROC got chopped, she suffered from mould the worst. Grapefruit does a better job in this terrible weather. Few spot with mould were detected and those branches were removed. Every time keeping alcohol at hand to clean immediatly. Carefull not to spread the stuff. Curled/ twisted leaves, black spot are the first indications of rot. I have taken rotting flowers and leaves out and buried them. 2 weeks with little sleep and carefully checking every bud twice on each visit. Now we have 3 sunny days. She will get chopped before the next rain. Hopefully the sun to come is enough for her too bulk up a bit. I would love those calyxes to be fat and swollen. I have given up on reaching amber trichs. Weather wont allow it.

Chopped her on day 83 from sprout. Discovered some Bananas on Christmas, the plant looked due anyway so no worries, wanted to chop her anyway, guess I was right with the timing and the plant showed me it is done and did a last attempt to pollinate itself, normal behavior in my opinion, also the Bananas were blanks, didn't see any pollen. Overall great strain, will use this strain to test the limits of the prototype of my new hydro system. No mold or anything, vigorous growth, easy to train, stems did bend and not snap but are stiff enough to hold their weight. Buds are very dense, some might think the buds are a little small but there are a lot of them, good sizes in my opinion, perfect little ready to take with you buds. Even the buds are the bottom are dense, I had lights at the bottom but even inside the canopy with little light they are dense! Plant turned purple wherever there was intense light on it, visible on the short clip I took of a top branch where below the bud where there is shadow from the bud above is the branch is green and a little lower where light reaches it turned purple. This purpeling in my opinion is a great and normal feature in plants overall, probably do not expect a purple plant unless you go with intense lightning and high CO2 values to handle it. 9/10 because it hermed at the very end, didn't hurt the result because the plant was done but it would be nice if it wouldn't do it to maybe let it go some more and trade THC for more CBN and even more yield, total yield is good as it is but more is always better :) Whoever reads this at the very bottom... I hope this diary helps you out for your next grow. I hope this diary also shows that fertilizer brands are more marketing than anything, my fertilizer costs me ~ 1/5 compared to Canna, Plagron etc. etc. and it works great. Yara is used for example by Demecan a medical Cannabis producers, if they use it why not you? This is no advertisement for Yara, use Haifa or whatever just maybe don't buy overpriced fertilizer with big marketing and rather put that saved money in good quality genetic seeds. Update: dried weight is 320g total, smoked a little besides that so maybe 330? didn't count how much so I didn't add that to the total, but it was a little more. Tastes like Wrigley's Spearmint gum! Will definitely grow this one again, so far my #1 from what I've grown, just dense, frosty and good tasting, can't really complain. 🙏 In case anyone from Mephisto reads this, make this a permanently available Strain 🙏

Whorled Phyllotaxy is the arrangement of leaves on a plant stem, three in this case. I never noted it until the buds started to form in threes on the stem instead of twos on just opposite sides. Plant also has 11 finger leafs that are ginormous I hack them off every other day. bud sides are forming well faster than I expected HPS in veg was a good option to keep the plant short and bushy.

Hi All, The week was pretty uneventful, the plant is developing nicely. I removed a leave here and there to make sure maximum light exposure in the middle of the canopy is guaranteed. The buds stopped stretching so I’ll will stop with the boost and add the pk 13/14 to help with the fattening. Dried and smoked a few of the lowest popcorn buds and they are by all means not there, but smell and taste pretty awesome. I have also added a few pictures of the new box that I have built for the cuttings. The box was build pretty low budget, however I will still need to add a better light source as I am currently running on only 60W veg lights. Was planning to buy the Greenception GCx5solo 150W full spectrum LED, as it would fit exactly Inside the box.

Haven't really been updating much as traction is low and I keep hella notes upstairs and on paper. Flowers forming, slight stretch began days ago. Looking and smelling good. May need to hook up the external RES with how massive the root system has gotten. Main stem is over an inch thick. She's drinking ALLOT and eating well. F Day19 - RES clean/change. Mixed 3gal M-4.6ml/g G-4.6ml/g B-6.6ml/g PH'd to 6.2 since it's been dropping last few days on its own and needing adjustment. F Day23- stripping day... added a goodmorning vid of the Booshberry prior to stripping it. Will update post pics/vid this afternoon.

We have more autos from Ganja farmer seeds started today. I sowed them directly into the soil. The hydroponic ebb and flow system I am using this round is new and is called AirCube from growace. This week the Chicken n’ Wafflez became noticeably frostier ❄️🔥 Resin production increased heavily across the buds and even the sugar leaves are now getting completely coated in trichomes. The plant still keeps its slightly airy structure, but flower stacking improved nicely throughout the canopy 🌿 The aroma became much stronger this week 🍯? The sweet jam-like scent intensified further while keeping the same creamy sugary direction from the previous week. Opening the tent now releases a much louder and richer terpene profile overall ✨ Water consumption stayed about the same 💧 Feeding this week consisted of: • Bio PK 🌱 • Calmag Environment stayed stable again 🌡️ The plant continues handling the strong light intensity very well with no major stress signs visible under the current setup ☀️ Visually the plant looks healthy and heavily resin-covered, especially on the upper flower sites ❄️ The tallest cola still dominates the structure while the side branches continue slowly filling in. Buds are now clearly transitioning from early flower into proper stacking mode 🚀

This week everything’s went smooth. The plants are stretching like crazy everyday since I switched my lighting from 24 hours to 12/12!! Starting to flower now. Removed some leaves that were blocking bud sites.

🌿 Grow Diary – Tag 84 | Blütetag 24 „Radikaler Haarschnitt, erste Harzschicht … und die Schädlingspolizei dreht wieder ihre Runden“ Diese Woche war klar: Schere raus – untenrum einmal Kernsanierung. Die Ladies wurden ordentlich gelollipopped und ich hab wirklich nicht gekleckert. Der Eimer war am Ende randvoll mit Schnittresten. Alles, was unten nur Energie klaut oder im Schatten gammelt, ist beinahe konsequent rausgeflogen. Ab jetzt geht die komplette Kraft nur noch in die Tops. Die Kush hat mir dabei kurz den Puls hochgetrieben. Etwas instabil im Aufbau, beim Schneiden halb auseinandergefallen – ich durfte erstmal wieder puzzeln, welche Triebe ich eigentlich behalten wollte. Kurz Zelt-Chaos … aber wieder eingefangen. 😄 📏 Höhe & Stabilität Der Stretch ist jetzt offiziell vorbei. Endhöhe: ca. 1,10 Meter – besser hätte es fast nicht laufen können fürs Setup. Viel höher und wir hätten Licht-Tetris spielen müssen. Zur Stabilisierung hängen jetzt überall Pflanzen-Jojos. Diese kleinen Rollen mit Nylonschnur, die die Äste sanft hochziehen und schwere Buds stützen. Schön gleichmäßiges Blätterdach, nichts kippt weg, alles entspannt. Echt kleine Gamechanger. 🌸 Blütenentwicklung Jetzt startet die eigentliche Show: Buds stapeln sich sichtbar erste Trichome / Harzbildung leichter, süßer Duft im Zelt Man merkt richtig: 👉 Produktionsmodus aktiviert. Jeden Tag ein bisschen frostiger. Ernährung & Feintuning Allerdings zeigen sie langsam klar: 👉 Phosphor- & Kaliumhunger Die BioTabs-Tabletten waren top für den Start, aber in der intensiven Blütephase einfach etwas zu träge. Plan: Mikroben pushen → Bodenleben aktivieren moderat PK nachdüngen → Blütenaufbau unterstützen Ein kleiner Schub, damit die Buds richtig Masse machen. 🐛 Reality Check: Nervensägen-Alarm Und ja … natürlich gibt’s auch die weniger glamouröse Seite des Grows. Tripse und Trauermücken zum Beispiel. Doppelt hält leider nicht besser. 😅 Tripse → silbrige Fraßspuren auf den Blättern Trauermücken → kleine schwarze Nervflieger über der Erde Nichts Dramatisches, aber einfach maximal lästig. So dieses typische: „Könnt ihr bitte einfach verschwinden?“ Werden natürlich beobachtet und in Schach gehalten – aber eingeladen war hier definitiv keiner. ✅ Wochenfazit Lollipopping erledigt ✔️ Stretch durch ✔️ Höhe perfekt bei 1,10 m ✔️ Jojos stabilisieren alles ✔️ Harz & Buds starten durch ✔️ Tripse nerven ✔️ Trauermücken nerven leider genauso ✔️ Unterm Strich trotzdem: richtig guter Fortschritt. Jetzt heißt’s wieder: füttern, beobachten, feinjustieren – und zuschauen, wie aus den Ladies langsam kleine, klebrige Harzmonster werden. The ladies got a proper lollipopping session, and I definitely didn’t go easy on them. By the end, the bucket was completely full of cuttings. Everything down low that only steals energy or sits in the shade had to go. From now on, all power goes straight into the tops. The Kush caused a bit of drama though. She’s slightly unstable structurally and basically fell apart while pruning, so I had to puzzle together which shoots I originally wanted to keep. Short chaos in the tent… but fixed. 😄 📏 Height & Support Stretch is now officially over – finally. Final height: around 1.10 meters, which is pretty much perfect for the tent. Any taller and we’d be fighting the lights. To keep everything stable, I installed plant yo-yos everywhere – those retractable supports with nylon strings. They gently pull branches upward, support heavy buds, and keep the canopy nice and even. Small tools, big impact. 🌸 Flower Progress Now the fun part really starts. You can see it every day: buds stacking up first visible trichomes/resin light sweet smell filling the tent That moment when you open the zipper and think: 👉 “Alright… production mode activated.” Each day gets a little frostier. Nutrition & Adjustments What’s becoming obvious now: 👉 early phosphorus and potassium deficiencies The BioTabs tablets worked great so far, but during heavy flowering they’re simply a bit too slow. So the plan: add microbes → boost soil life moderate PK supplementation → support bud building Just a small extra push so the flowers can really bulk up. 🐛 Reality Check: Pest Squad And of course… it wouldn’t be a real grow without some annoying visitors. Thrips AND fungus gnats. Double trouble. 😅 Thrips → those classic silver streaks on the leaves Fungus gnats → tiny black flies hovering around the soil Nothing catastrophic, but seriously annoying. That constant “can you guys just leave already?” feeling. They’re under control and being monitored closely — but yeah… nobody invited them. ✅ Weekly Summary Lollipopping done ✔️ Stretch finished ✔️ Height dialed in at 1.10 m ✔️ Yo-yos supporting branches ✔️ Buds & resin starting strong ✔️ Thrips annoying ✔️ Fungus gnats annoying too ✔️ Overall, still very happy with the progress. And then your branding/research helps give me confidence in knowing that I am working with great genetics before I even start my grow. ---------------------------- Germination Start 2/13/24 to 2/18/24 2/19 to 2/25 Veg Days 1 to 7 Week 0 to 1 Germination took 6 days from dropping in water to transplanting into 1 gallon pots. 29hours in a glass of 6.3ph room temp RO water. Something I would only attempt if they were both floating. They were,so leaving them that long they were able to crack open. I then placed both in paper towels wet with the glass water and pasted to the sides of the glass for 3 days (1 day too long in retrospect). I placed in rapid rooter pods and closed with toothpick tips. They popped out from the pods 1 day later but I gave them 2 days before transplant. Video: Incubator water level is key for rapid rooter pods to wick properly during incubation. Transplant to 1 gal pots: I am using a 50/50, 50%perlite/50%soil with a .5lb of dolomite lime and a .5ml of flora micro added to .5 gallon of RO water (Im mixing 2 gallons of soil total so the water to soil ratio is 1/4 of the total medium volume) to achieve a soil tested ph of 6.4. I am using a 50/50 soil/perlite mix because I plan to use these in auto pots. I also used about 1 cup of the same soil mix water to pour around the plant after transplant; you can see how the perlite rises to the top where I did this. I sprayed two domes and covered - I plan to leave covered for the first week. Feed: I kept them under the domes and sprayed every day that I didnt feed them, to keep humidity up while I let them find water in the soil. By the end of the week I took the domes off and took pictures. Feed this week was another 1 cup of 6.3ph water 5 days after transplant. Feed plan next week will increase the amount to 2 cups of plain-no-nute water with about 4 days between feeds. I want to see the water run through so if I need to use more than 2 cups I will. The idea is to water deep and through, but then make them search for more before the next feed, hopefully spreading the roots out while doing it. Veg Plan: I plan on 8 colas for each plant. So that will be 3 topping days and a total of 7 cuts. I will want to cut the first time on day 21 if I have 5+ nodes. I will transfer to 5 gallon auto pots with-in 1 week of the first topping. Once I have 3 nodes of new growth past the first topping, I will top those two branches to the first node again. (that's 3 cuts total by this point) Then, after 3 new nodes of growth after that, I will do a last topping on the 4 branches. (4 new cuts added to make a total of 7 cuts and 8 colas) I will train the branches using LST/HST with tie downs as soon as I can after the first topping day to help maintain the branches growing where I want them to. I will also introduce an adjustable tomato ring after they have settled into the 5 gallon forever pots to provide support and mobility Hopefully all goes well, and I will have 1 to 2 weeks of growth before flip after week 8. I think it sounds more ambitious than it really is, but if you follow this journal, we will see together.
