Growing some seeds I won from Diary of the Month here on Grow Diaries!!! I'm so grateful and excited for another learning experience doing what I love! Thank you, FastBuds! 🙏 Seed was germinated directly in Rapid Rooter placed in a seedling tray. I put her in darkness for 48 hours and then in a sunny window. Three days later, the seedling's little head poked up and the next day she showed me her first true leaves - calling this day 1. I kept the seedling tray in a sunny window and brought her outside for lunch on my sunny deck with me for the rest of the week. Given the heatwave we were having here, I got her settled into her net basket sooner rather than later so that she could have a more stable environment. This plant will is being grown indoors in an 2x4x8 Gorilla Grow Tent using an 8 gallon Current Culture Solo Bucket under California Lightworks 550 Solar System LED. For grow media I am using clay pellets and I use the entire Cultured Solutions line of nutrients. I will be showcasing this plant in a grow tutorial over on my YouTube channel and IGTV where I am going to show a detailed walk through of how I grew my original "Budzilla" plant. Unfortunately, I don't have a grow diary for her, but she is featured on my IG account. The technique I use I created after harvesting my first grow. I had used low stress training on an autoflower and achieved beautiful results. I took notes the entire grow and conducted a postmortem. I sincerely advise doing this for EVERY grow - especially when you are learning. It provides you opportunity to figure out what went right, what went wrong, what could have gone better, and what ideas you think you can toss into the mix to try to improve on the places that need revamping. I did this and I came up with the hypothesis of starting my plant off-center in the net basket, and then growing it low and in a spiral around the outside. In my head, I thought something like this could really push the limits of low stress training, especially when used on an autoflower where we have a limited time of vegetative growth. I didn't realize, at the time, JUST how effective the technique would be, but when the grower community on IG exploded over the sight of my plant, I started to get a feeling a did something right. As I was still only growing my second plant in my entire grow career, I was completely oblivious to the fact that I had pushed the normal boundaries of an autoflower.... I had nothing else to really compare it to. Nearly a year later, photos of my Budzilla are still being shared around social media in the grow community and I still get asked regularly about how I grew her. And with that, we start here on the journey to attempt the recreation of my former masterpiece. But I'm taking it one step further and giving you a detailed, step-by-step guide so that even the newest of growers can follow along and learn how to push an autoflower to its beautiful edge. I noticed that the whole right side of the tent had basically collapsed, so harvest was upon us. Using hedge clippers I cut away large chunks of the plant: THis thing is huge. Put some celophane over the cut ends and taped them, had to load them into the tent for drying at a couple of different levels so that it is stacked. Will update once I have dried and cured.

26/07/20 (Sunday) Plants were starting to exhibit signs of light burn so I switched back to the 75W bulb. SVG never seemed to recover from having it's cotyledon damaged so I decided to take a risk and fed all of the seedlings 20-20-20 nutrients except the D.R. which I thought would've suffered shock, so I just watered it. 27/07/20 Decided to mist the plants with a homemade pesticide mix today because they're readying to be introduced as full time outdoor plants in a week or two so their sun basks are getting longer. 28/07/20 Noticed what looks like new growth from the first true leaves of the SVG, fingers crossed it's making progress. 29/07/20 The new growth from the SVG has split into two on both sides leading me to theorize that it's abandoned it's main stem (for now at least) and started two new stems. All other plants are working on new nodes and are showing a steady growth of .5cm a day. I've decided to revert to the 100W bulb because I believe I've misdiagnosed the light burn. 30/07/20 Today I left them outside for their longest sunbask to this point; 7 of their 18 total hours was provided by sunlight. The SVG now has two new 3-leaf true leaves on each new stem confirming my theory. Also starting to see signs of a minor mite problem on one of the leaves of my TT plant (Though it's new growth that wasn't sprayed with my homemade concoction.) 31/07/20 New growth has already begun sprouting from between the new true leaves of the SVG with no visible progress on the 'abandoned' main stem. Also had a power outage for 2 of the plants 18 hours. 01/08/20 Today the plants again stayed out in the sun for longer than previously making 8 hours in direct sunlight. I've decided to keep them in the grow tent for a further week because when I went to retrieve them the Jam was blown down flat by winds and had started to grow bent towards the light, so I doubt it's stem is ready for that daily beating. I raised the soil level and massaged it back into shape and it seems to be back on track. The D.R. is slowly beginning to bounce back from being stunted in the seedling tray and from it's third node (from the bottom up) of 3 leaf true leaves has turned into 5 leaf leaves. The SVG has made a major recovery and seems to be on it's way to even surpassing the others by the end of the week. The TT is officially the sturdiest of the younger seedlings and it's growing right behind the Jam in terms of node development. All in all this week was an overall success growth wise and I'm looking forward even more to week 3.

This strain is done fast. Cut down at 50 days.

2022-02-05, Day 33: The Right has a solid 10cm advance over the left one, i'm guessing this is because of the failed FIMming (too little).

Plants doing good clones have roots but not all guna wait 2 more weeks b4 transferring to new containers …one plant needs more food guna increase ppm

Considering the tiny pot she gets a big dosis of Plagon nutrients every time I water. Still some nutrient deficiencies but that's inevitable in a 400ml container I'd say! 😇 She also got some homebrewed Stinging and Forest Nettle Tea, this plant is all about the Tea baby! And her buds will definately be enjoyed with a cup of Chai Tea 😆

Hi all! our creative grownig is going great! the branches began to grow more actively .. I had to make a topping of the rear central branch (I call it the tail) in the hope that the front branches will catch up with them on the top .. in general I am happy with how the composition will appear)) but still ahead ..

Day 71 - trimmed em abit.... i've turned the lights and just touch em into flower, to find out sex..... look really nice..... smell really nice... the big fan leafs feel like velvet material .... Day 81 - putting this diary on hold again, haha.... focusing everything on silver haze..... i'll update when something significant happens...... day 88 - i think, haha.... they almost died twice, haha.... no pics yet, goin to update this in the next few days after i work out the plan, lol the little one in the clear plastic cereal container is not doin so well, and the big one is in the big dwc iws and it's been in flower lights in the crapo tent with the crapo gear,m everything good is on the silver haze..... and this frickin mazar - female...... haha... just spotted the first 2 hairs comin out the first tops..... it's not very big, but pretty sure going to get 1 to bud now...... 👍😎👊

Organic, Die letzten 2 Wochen nur mit Wasser gegoßen

Nur paar Blätter entfernt und komplett auf Drypart Bloom umgestellt. Zudem noch Pro Bloom und X-Cel dazu gegeben. Ich entlaube erst richtig wenn der Flower Stretch vorbei ist um die Pflanze nicht zu stören. So in 14 Tagen circa.. PH 5.8, EC über 2.2 PH bleibt stabil da ordentlich Nährstoffe vorhanden sind. ppfd so 620 bei 20h Licht = 44 DLI. Breite 80 und 65 cm, sollte was werden zum Schluss..

Ein phänomenaler Schwellprozess hat in der fünften Blütewoche bei dem Junky 99 Projekt von Brothers Grimm Seeds eingesetzt. Der extreme, viel zu krass ausgefallene Stretch, der definitiv viel zu lange ging, hat die beiden Pflanzen mittlerweile komplett über den Kopf wachsen lassen – selbst die Lampe, die bereits so hoch wie nur irgendwie möglich gehängt wurde, haben die obersten Triebspitzen teilweise schon passiert. Doch trotz dieser räumlichen Herausforderung, mit deren Gegebenheiten ich mich nun eben arrangieren muss, ist der blütentechnische Fortschritt auf den Bildern schlichtweg atemberaubend: Die Buds schwellen massiv an und formieren sich zu extrem langen, imposanten Colas. Das werden zweifellos extrem dicke Dinger! Um die zunehmende Last der entstehenden Blütenpracht sicher abzufangen, wurden die Pflanzen abermals mit dem Stringy-Thingy gestützt. Diese Stabilisierung ist teilweise jetzt schon bitter nötig und wird in den kommenden Wochen bei diesem rasanten Zuwachs an Blütenmasse erst recht unverzichtbar sein. Die Harzproduktion zieht spürbar an, die weißen Blütenhaare stehen dicht an dicht und die beiden Ladys strotzen trotz des immensen Höhenflugs weiterhin vor purer Vitalität.

Very fast germination on these 3 ladies. They've been planted into pellets and placed on my heat mat. Three days later and and 3 plants have emerged from the soil 🙌 All surfaces cleaned using The Hydro Company's Clean X Plants potted up and fed their first feeds with thehydroco nutrients. They will be staying on my heat mat and under my LED light until there ready for the tent 💖🌱

Had a productive week for growth and made a few improvements. Bud development has been great this week. The buds are filling in the gaps mostly and creating nice colas. My plan is for the next 2 weeks to feed AN Overdrive. Then flush for 2 weeks i think. She is very sticky and has a sweet smell of candy grape. Still not a blast of smell when i open the tent but smelling her close she's sweet :D I re tied all the outside colas to make them have even spacing again. The red poles were in need of some better reflection so i foil taped them. The sealed box for my carbon filter was made when i was using the cfl. The way i needed to hang the light meant the outlet from the sealed box into the tent could only be 4 inches in diameter. With the Cob Led, it's attached on the side poles, so decided to max out the outlet. It is the full 6inches and cooling is more efficient now. (Maybe i should try origarmi) The black clip on fan was touching the tent so not drawing air as well. Also made an annoying vibration if touching the tent wall. I used the extender i had on the side vertically and mounted it horizontaly. Has opened the tent out a bit and have free space behind the fan. Have add photos of all improvements. Checked on the outdoor grow and is looking good. Did improvements on it last week by adding a 'gate'. Had spotted deer when visiting previously so didn't want to take any chances. Attached photos from visit yesterday. Video is from week before when i did the gate and surround supports. Left plant Glue Gelato Auto is my friends. It's the same age as my Wed Cake but grown outdoors it's whole life. Right plant is Purple Punch auto which is mine. 4 weeks younger than my Wed Cake and Glue Gelato but started indoors and then planted outdoors. This spot was only for 1 plant originally but after the situation from the other spot we had to take the GG there. Thanks for checking my diary See you next week and happy growing
