Week 27 from seed and a lovely cool 18c this morning... Apart from the bud hungry bugs eating the plant, she does have some amazing bud development. Never seen a pure sativa close up before and always thought the buds would be thinner, although quite airy they are fat buds nonetheless. No signs of seeds either which I am surprised about with it being landrace late in flower.. She is quite sticky and the smell is beginning to come through the buds more. The smell reminds me of citrusy freshness, fruity/sweet. The test smoke I've had is really enjoyable and pleasant. The high is very clear with a fruity taste on your throat. I would say the high makes me more active in and around the garden as apposed to hybrid or indica flower. I cannot wait to smell and taste it when it ripens. If the bugs back off I will let it go 2-3 more weeks possibly but they're munching fast. Only 10 main tops left on the plant.. Spotted 2 types of praying mantis on the plant so hopefully less bugs now... we well see. Next season I will grow again but underneath an anti-bug net.. she had so much potential to be absolutely huge but bugs have not stopped attacking for 7 months! Still a nice plant but it can do much better here.

This week, I continued the LST on each plant everyday. Unfortunately, I broke one branch of the Cashew Kush by pulling too hard on it. Since it was one of the double branches (see last week photo), I'm curious to see if the other smaller branch will now increased its growth to compensate the loss. The growth is good despite some probable nitrogen excess (curled tip + dark green leaves) on the Blackberry Cake and the Cashew Kush. This is not the first time I'm facing this with Sensi Seeds plants in this pre-fertilized soil, but they always turned out fine in the end! I added a bit more water to these two plants to try to eliminate a bit of nitrogen excess. I also increased the watering frequency. I wanted to give some light to the lower branches without defoliating too much, too soon. So, I get the idea of removing only some leaflets on all the plants. I don't know if this technique has a name and if it's useful. Fun time im excited it's turning out pretty good allot allot of learning as you go but it's working I think... the GSC started dropping a couple leaves but I think it v was just cause it got to dry flowering stage seems to suck up allot more water....

Topped the other 2 branches and kept her pinned down, getting somebody nice growth going now, steady away nothing flash but it's all good. Not far off flipping her, probably a couple weeks.

Day 51 - 1F - Trimmed, LSTd, SCROGd, took a couple clones to try in m new fog cloner - no idea if this will work. Looking forward to the stretch!

Day 66 : Lady is fattening. I increased nitrogen (bio-grow) in order to fix some deficiencies. Also i removed Calcium this week. She is a bit behind, maybe 4 weeks, i don't know. Trichomes production just started. Edit Day 70 : She takes weight but not so fast, trichomes develop is slow, and i assume that she is stressed because of air flow on her for much time. I hope she pass this situation. I increased Biogrow to 5.4 ml / L. The other doses remain the same.

Day 43 - Tuesday 27/11/18 - changed the reservoir with fresh solution , getting a few mottled under leaves that suggest cal mag issue , or possibly ph , but I have double checked both of these so fingers crossed , I measured her today with my metre ruler and she is 73 cm tall , looks very bushy , I took a light on pic with my iPhone , and made you a little video 😜 I should just add , there are 3 plants in this picture , look back to week 5 and you will see , the lemon is very bushy , gorilla is tallest , Tangie seems to be fastest 👁️ I have also changed the temperature and humidity slightly. Day 44 - Wednesday - I have included the ruler for scale today, i see so many good pictures on here but the size can be questionable, so also proof i own a 1m ruler...lol , topped up with about 1.5 litres of water, EC was ok and ph perfect. Day 45 - Thursday - I dont know what happened yesterday but she had drunk so much water ( added 3 litres + ) and needed 10 ml of A+B , Day 46 - Friday - Added 12 ml A+B and about 3 litres of water, she is in her super feeding stage, this week she has been devouring everything, some of the leaves I think are showing signs of under feeding but I really think its the strain on the plant as she tries to buildit is really tempting to up the nutrients but once you burn it, its never the same.I made you a video, enjoy. Week 3 has come and gone and it was a sight to see!! All the pistills came in nice and strong. I have to get in there and defoliate every couple a days a bit. This will be the last week of defoliation. Once I can see the main bud sights I will do my final trim. Started reducing the Nitrogen as the stretch faze comes to an end and up the bloom ferts. I cant raise my light much more so I hope they stop stretching this week. Im excited to see the flowers grow into these pistills and watcch the calayx swell.

These girls are in full flower in week 5. They stayed the typical size of an auto. The two were seperated in anticipation but clearly it may have been unnecessary

04/26/24. Orchids. Going into week 6. I have #1 just where I want her. #2 isn’t exactly how I’d like but much MUCH better than where she was. A little uneven still, but I can’t complain. She’s still VERY dark and I’m emphasizing an issue on her leaf which I still haven’t figured out if it was caused from nutrient burn or ph. Either way, still haven’t fed either girls since the tea ONE time awhile back. #1 has lightened up a LOT and looks about right to me now. Transplanted both on the 21st, I believe it was. I’m not sure if I’ll flip them to flower now or wait until they’re 8 weeks. Guess we’ll see. Until next time
