Sensi Seeds Jack Herer week 10 Update 18th Feb 2020 Finally She's flowering. Now that all of my Photoperiod strains are flowering I can see the End is in sight. I performed the last of the HST I'll be doing to this girl on a few branches that were taller than the rest. Now that she's in flower mode I'll need to start introducing some of the Dr greenthumbs Bud and bloom mix. Ive already added about half a kilo of fresh worm castings to the soil and some Epsom salts to boost magnesium levels. As youll see in the above pics the plant is looking lovely and lush and when I rub the stems she eminates a marvelous smell I simply cannot describe. Good stretch this week, I haven’t lollipopped at all, not even in veg. It’s fairly leafy everywhere and I want to get in there and defoliate bottom 1/3 soon. A lot of dead leaves I imagine, just been so busy and been neglecting the grow. Funny, how when you first start out and you’re overly micro-managing and then as the months go by, it starts to become a chore. I ordered a light from China, a Meijiu (HLG)550 V3. HLG Canada didn’t want to give me a decent discount so, unfortunately had to ship my money outside the country. Saved 50% for a quality light though. Might take a bit to get here, been processing in Hong Kong for 4 days. So far the leaves are healthy but last run they started to turn deficient after the stretch. In my defence, with the last grow, I was just starting on the dry nutrient regimen and made mistakes. Hopefully it stays healthy throughout bloom cycle with new changes and knowledge. New reservoir this week as follows: Partial drain, most of it gone, but 100mL RO added and; 40 gram cal nit 30 jacks 30 mag sulph. 100mL mighty bloom enhancer 100mL head masta 300 mL h2o2 25 mL Fulvic 40mL Humic pH ended up high with addition of bloom enhancer, added pH down to 5.8. PPM 1360. Wednesday-Day 10 Added water and some nutes. PPM 1200 pH 6.0 Started a small section of lower 1/3 defoliation Day 11 Did some more defoliation, added a video to show progress. Day 12 Finished lollipop on right plant. Moved some branches around. Added 20 liters and 20g cal nit, 10g of both jacks and magnesium sulphate.

This was their last week! Harvested on Day 60. Smells are incredible, tricomes are carpeted and have a good mix of amber and cloudy. Love the wireless microscope I got of Amazon ❤️ i gave the girls their last watering on day 55 , and I watered till I had about 15% runoff. I like to whole plant hang dry my plants in my tent, hopefully, aiming for about 60 degrees and 60% humidity for about 10-14 days. Typically the more there is, the longer it takes. i cant wait! 🤤

10/18, day 74 While only getting a tiny bit taller, the colas are bulking up, trichomes are developing, and the colors are amazing. She's so pretty! We're starting to take more stemmed leaves off in preparation for harvest, and they are ready to come off, with beautiful yellow fading. There are sooooo many reddish-orange hairs, and it seems most of the tops are being taken over by purples now. 10/21, day 77 Violet's leaves are turning brown and beginning to curl now. When looking at her trichomes, it seems there is not as much amber today as there was yesterday somehow. Every time we open the cabinet, it seems she has changed. 10/23 day 79 Violet has been exploding with trichomes the last couple of days, and I'm just like WOW!! Upon doing more research on trichomes and their development, I found an article that explains things so nicely (Link: https://www.greencultured.co/cannabis-trichomes-overview/ ) In this article, I learned about the three different types of trichomes: bulbous, capitate sessile, and capitate stalked. The stalked being the tall pretty ones we like to see, which also contain the most resin. At a certain point, the short sessiles develop into the stalked, increasing from 30% to 80-90%. This is kind of far down the article in the section titled "Latest Cannabis Trichome Research." It also explains that the stalked trichomes contain 16 cells while sessile trichomes only contain 8, so the stalked trichome explosion Violet has been having is doubling her medicinal value. I believe that her increasingly strong smell is a sign that this is good information, so I encourage you to check it out. I do not know them, nor have any arrangements with them, I really did just find the article that helpful. Oh, Violet, our time together is going to be over soon!!

Day 58 - Adding Big Bud Coco to the nute mix, seems that it's doing its job 😁 (Yes, I need a bigger closet 😅) Keep on growing 🙏😋 Day 63 - Haf some problems with my EC pen the last days, it wasn't clean so I overfeed a little bit but I noticed almost immediately so I've cleaned it and re-done the nute solution. Just a few tips of Gelato's leaves were burnt, nothing to worry about. I think 4 weeks from now and the Purple Lemonade will be ready for harvest, so other 5 days of Big Bud and then I'll switch to Overdrive for the final boost before ripen and flush 🙏

Grow Journal – Week 4: Solid, Smooth, Silky Week 4 is here and it’s been a solid, smooth, and silky ride! The OG Kush (OGK) and Gorilla Zkittlez (Rilla Z) are officially a month old, while the younger trio—AK, Super Lemon Haze (SLH), and Moon Beam (MB)—are at the 2-week mark. And let me tell you, things are popping off! OG Kush (OGK) OGK is bouncing back beautifully from the topping I did last week. She went from one main stem to two strong, sturdy branches, and I’ve been LST'ing them to shape the structure. Originally, I topped her thinking she was stunted—I almost gave up on her. But man, I’m glad I stuck it out. She's looking really solid now. I gave her a top dress of Gaia Green All Purpose and Power Bloom (since she’s been in soil about 30 days), and backfilled the pot since it was a little light on soil. Also did a light trim to remove some oversized fan leaves. Overall? She’s thriving. Gorilla Zkittlez (Rilla Z) Rilla Z is going crazy right now—straight beast mode. I did some LST and a bit of defoliation; her fan leaves were huge! She’s already throwing out white hairs, so flowering is definitely around the corner. Like OGK, I top dressed and backfilled her too. She’s officially in late veg/early flower, and everything’s looking fire. Super Lemon Haze (SLH), Moon Beam (MB), and AK The babies have exploded in growth this week. I transplanted all three from their 16 oz cups into 1-gallon pots. Used some Great White mycorrhizal fungi during transplant and wow—they LOVED it. The roots were wrapping all around the cup walls. Honestly, they’re almost as big as my older plants already. It's wild. All that stuff I learned from OGK and Rilla Z? I'm applying it now and it's clearly paying off. Temps and VPD are dialed in, and they’re thriving. SLH SLH shot straight up. It’s like a pure rocket. I’m debating whether to leave her be or bend her slightly for some LST. Either way, she’s got serious potential. MB For a seed that was cracked when I got it, MB is blowing past expectations. It’s outgrowing both AK and OGK at that stage. Like SLH, I’m thinking of just letting it grow upright with maybe some minor bends to shape the canopy. I'm really embracing the “less is more” vibe on this one. She’s been super easy so far. AK This one is giving me serious OGK vibes. She’s a little behind the others, but so was OGK—look how that turned out! I’m planning to top her in about a week. Something about topping small plants just feels right to me. Let’s see if she responds like her older sister. Reflections: Month One in the Books One full month of growing and wow—I’ve learned so much. And just to be clear—I still have no idea what I’m doing! 😅 I’m figuring it out day by day, learning from mistakes, soaking in content from YouTube and my favorite creators, and just putting in the work. Everyone says “plants just need soil, water, and light,” but if you dial in your environment and care, the rewards are next level—or so I’ve heard. These are all autoflowers, so it’s a race against time. I’m really just trying to keep up with what they need and ride it out to the finish line. Hello. This week is start of my 4th year on this site!! 😃✨🎈🎁 , also this is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of flowering. Things are going well in here. I got in here on the weekend and did a big trim/prune and sucker branch removal too. In some of the pictures you can sort of see through the plants to the floor or wall. That is just right. Not too much taken off, but the light can still pernitrate to the lower buds. The plants are in shock because I took a lot of leaves off and will need a few days to get over that and start to grow again. At this point, I can tell when they are over the shock, by how soon the resin starts to appear. They should go right into resin production after coming out of shock. I don't know if I'll make seeds this summer with the Gorilla Face males. None of these males have much of a smell with the rub test. They all have 4 inches or more of distance between the leaf sets since being repotted. Even the one I thought was going to remain short, has 4 to 5 inches between leaf sets. I might put pollen on the 2 shortest females just to see what I get. It's hard to find a good male. I'll wait another week before deciding. I put a sercuirty door/gate on my greenhouse door. I've had an open door in the summer for years and have always been worried about getting ripped off by someone walking in from the street. Now I can leave the door open and not have to worry so much. This way they have to break something to get in now, better chance of catching them. Ok. See ya next week. Chuck.

Day 29 - The lady that I accidentally topped seems to be responding well, her top two nodes are really stretching out and looking good. Still only have one lady clearly showing white hairs at the nodes, but the other lady looks like shes about to pop. I also defoliated them a bit to allow for better light penetration. Day 30 - Did another round of light defoliation and rearranged the LST on both ladies. Still haven't noticed any white hairs on one lady. Day 31 - Rearranged my equipment setup inside the grow tent. Still no white hairs on one lady. Day 33 - More light defoliation and LST on both ladies. Starting to notice some white hairs on the lady yet to begin showing hairs. Both ladies are now in flower.

2025-01-01 - Germination directly in PRO-MIX HP CC in starter trays on a seedling heat mat under a humidity dome. 2025-01-04 - Transplanted into 1 liter plastic pots and placed in starter box. I kept them under the humidity dome for the first couple of weeks. 2025-01-17 - Moved to finishing tent with ViparSpectre P2000 2025-01-31 - Topped and moved to Veg tent. I selected these seeds during the holiday sale at Seedbank.com. I was ordering some NL#5 (a different diary), and I saw the Purple Punch on sale. Having wanted to add some anthocyanins (purples) to some of my other strains, and finding the description of this particular cultivar appealing, I ordered 5 beans. They sprang to life like they were glad to be home. In the last week of the seedling phase, they exploded in growth, with wide leaflets INDICAtive of indica (not a typo, maybe bad dad joke). These are some of the shortest, stockiest plants I've had in the grow tent yet. They handle light well and in close proximity to the canopy, they are stacked thick with branches.

Through week 8 she fattening up while swirling well daily. Smells is greatly intensifies each day especially when lights on and she start spreads aroma The profile is as Fastbuds described in the strain name but my juice mix🥤( terp profile ) just by now is like a bit more strong on a sweet like grape candy and then the sourly lime after. Just smelling it makes me craving already.😮‍💨👌

week seven flower everything looks crazy so far :D buds are filling out & terps going crazy!! the fade comes through!! I water them with 1.5l every 48h the light I use was set to 100% and it hangs 80cm away from the tops CherryPie 1: smells fresh like minty CherryPie 2: smells like cherrys very fruity

12/15: Some plants are taking too long to transition and stretching beyond my space constraints, so I dialed the photoperiod back to 12/12. 12/16: Fed today and rotated edge plants. Added another 150w of 3000k below the canopy. Sucrose Overdose and Muscadine Wines are still stretching...raised lights again. 12/17: Worked on ventilation...no A/C necessary now, as I'm using another AC Infinity 6" fan to intake outdoor air into the closet whenever temps reach 75f..and it's been cold as hell outside.👍 The final trick will be to replace the 6" exhaust fan with an 8" so as to be able to fully exchange the closet air faster ...but that's gonna have to wait til next season. 12/18: Supercropped a Muscie... again... now she's doing the "letter 'S' thang. I'll force the curves tighter over the new few days if she keeps stretching.

Alien tech, squanch queen and king tut left. Letting at and kt veg a while. Fed 4 times daily for 4 mins each 650ppms at 6.0 ph. Squanch is being flushed.

I lowered the ppms of fade and PK and it made a significant difference. Everything is back normal and stable again. Lowering light intensity and temp in general to induce maturation. I’m sitting at 10% amber roughly. I’m going to check this weekend and it might be chop chop.

One more week for Veg. I will clone 1 Monster Zkittlez and 1 Strawberry Lemonade and I will put the clone in flowering stage as well let’s see the final result! The count down is almost starting ! Happy Growing to everyone!!!

10/29/20-Day 23 #1) 4.5” tall, nice looking 4th set of leaves. #2) 5.75” tall. All new growth, including lower axillary buds, is yellowing. Green tint toward tips, brown/copper spots on 3rd set of leaves. #2 is taller because is lacks chlorophyll and is stretching to get more light. 10/31/20-Day 25 - watered 300ml each 11/2/20-Day 27 started LST on #1.
