Week 10 (3/21/22 - 3/27/22)

A sight and a tremendous mint smell when I went to remove a sprout that had appeared, what a lovely smell. Broad, healthy leaves At 25 days old, seven days after the apical pruning, I noticed that the leaves were already hindering the growth of the lower branches, so I opted for defoliation. I removed all the large leaves from the main stem, about six leaves per plant. I always take advantage of watering day to do any pruning. Plants, like humans, cope better with stress on a full stomach. Since the plants had already reached a good size, I was able to position them as they would remain until the last day. I'm not one to move them around much; I like them to maintain their position and grow naturally towards the light. Later on, I'll do LST (Low Stress Training). To avoid excessive stress on a cannabis plant when pruning, the general rule is to remove between 20% and 30% of the total foliage (leaves and branches) in a single session. Pruning more than 50% usually causes significant stress that can stunt growth or delay flowering. Later, the next day, I decided to put the benders on once I saw it was possible and get it over with. Quité todas las hojas grandes del tallo principal, unas 6 hojas por planta. Aprovecho siempre el dia que me toca regar para hacer cualquier poda. Las plantas al igual que los humanos pasamos mejor el estrés con la barriga bien llena. Como que las plantas ya habian alcanzado un buen tamaño pude ponerlas en la posición tal como pasarán hasta el último dia. No soy persona de moverlas mucho, me gusta que mantengan la posición y que ellas mismas crezcan orientándose a la luz. Más adelante un LST . Para evitar el estrés excesivo en una planta de cannabis al podar, la regla general es retirar entre un 20% y un 30% de la masa foliar total (hojas y ramas) en una sola sesión. Superar el 50% de poda suele causar un estrés significativo que puede detener el crecimiento o retrasar la floración. Más adelante fue al dia siguiente. Una vez vi posible ponerle los dobladores obté por hacerlo y quitármelo ya de encima.

Runtz Fem (mother) is on week 8. It's been a somewhat slow grow. But, I've been able to make a perfect pheno that changed early into a bigger pot does have fast growth for this pheno. It's strong. Hardy & quick to recover & nor easily affected by any issues. These are the perfect traits for my test. It's not about yield. It's about having a quality flower producing pheno. Which I can put 2 clones thar come off the same node set (pair) and are even as clones in appearance & more importantly as genes you can test with in this setting. Week 8 Days 48-53 Day 50, she's ready to be cloned. She'll get 6 hrs of rest. I'll remove the clones and treat them in clonex with rockwool cubes. Have made a humidity dome as I can find the ones I bought years ago. But this will do till rooted in 4-7 days. Day 51 Day 2 clones have survived and going strong at 36hrs later you see they're doing well behind a big pot in my tent (more or less ambient light with a bottle keeping up high RH above 85%. Refreshing air everyday). Keeping my eye on the wool to make sure everything keeps moist. Will be putting both fully rooted clones into 7L pots of exact same mix of Promix soil & using the Terra line from plagron with power roots & Startup (which was gifted by my grow store). Only plagron will be used in these phenos. The mother will remain on Xpert Nutrients and not be given green sensation aswel ad 1 of the 7L clone pots obviously. 3 phenos of the same in all. 1 Xpert Nutrients (full line) 1 Full Plagron (with) Green Sensation 1 Full Plagron (without) Green Sensation 3 phenos 1 mother. 3 different results. Continua a crescere e di piegarla non se ne parla,visto che non ho più spazio ...pessima scelta fare due ceppi in un box 60x60cm. Comunque cresce super forte e bene ! Ci sono parecchie piccole gemme alla stessa altezza mentre le 2 apicali primeggiano sulla chioma. Alla prossima settimana speriamo esploda con dei super fiori !

They getting taller,no real side branching.Lst didnt really work for these strains.Might gave been better topped.But hey that's life.Guess it's not always about quantity rather quality.

Very nice plant to grow. Beautiful flowers covered with trichomes. The smell is very lemon citrus flavourt. She gave a bit of a stretch. I think she isn’t the biggest yielder but definitely quality over quantity. Later on the results. Very pleased sofar! I underestimate the density of the buds. Dry weight 375 gram of 5 plants. Pheno number 2 yielded almost 100 gram! Powerfull lemon flavour with a touch of sour. Running pheno number 2 again!

So everything in this week is from the top of my head (like 2 weeks later): _Environment This week, I went back to watering (gently) to get the soil used to a ‘normal’ assimilation rate again. As a result, the temperature dropped slightly, while the relative humidity increased at the same time (which was of course elevated by the fact that I removed the sand at the end of last week). _Plants + Training Gentle defoliation continued this week. However, it became apparent that Mimosa Cake Auto requires significantly more attention than Gorilla Z Auto, as it grows incredibly densely and intertwines. It also seemed like the Mimosa Cake Auto was about to crack due to the high forces (no space to bend and stretch because everything is just nodes and side branches). *Gorilla Z Auto was ??? cm tall, Mimosa Cake Auto ??? cm. _Organisms As you can see, microbial life is still in full swing. Numerous springtails can be seen (yellow sticky traps), Oribatida are decomposing organic material, etc. _Living Soil To check the most important indicator of healthy soil life, I carried out a pH test this week. This showed a value of 7, which is slightly too high but definitely within an acceptable range. [Living soil should be between 6 and 7, ideally 6.4–6.6.] _(Pre)Flower Mimosa Cake also started showing its first pistils (it seems like both plants are 5 - 10 days apart).

The broken center continues to grow, we got a little stressed but it went through that too. I start giving Big Bud, let’s see what comes out

I’ve been feeding every other day and everything is looking green, healthy, and filled the canopy out nicely. The buds are getting bigger everyday. Everything recovered well From the defoliating. Definitely starting to smell stronger. So far so good going to keep pushing these girl so hard! Cheers everyone

Week 2 Flowering Pilot #1 continues its transition into the flowering cycle with remarkable vigor, entering week two of bloom with a clear and sustained stretch response.
