High GD community, Week 9, Sweet Thai looking allready better then ĺast week. The topping start to grow gently and a full 13cm in height gained this week. Since 3 days(friday), the lightcycle changed into 13/11. Nonetheless spidermites are spotted on this lady, she doesnt back down. After a treathment with orio bugs, who i actually misordered because I didnt had my new microscope yet, trips are definitly gone, and orios do eat/attack spidermites, its not their favorite. So a second army of bugs, this time phyto mytes, its gonna be all about attack and digesting spidermites, Who didnt yet get crowdy so far. But after a check up of some leafs with the new microscope, i can see a lot of eggs and pretty active young spidermites. So the phytos will not come to early. Phytos do eat eggs as orios dont, so thats a big difference. Day 22. Girls loved LST and now its absolute single bush ;))) Hope they will start stretching a bit otherwise i will have soccer ball size one nugs instead of plant ;))) In plans new wave of heavy training on thursday and feed. Ordered new fans, old ones tend to die in a year of heavy work, theirs speed reduces a lot ... Morning / evening showers and thats all my attention... Can't tuck leaves, can't spread them yet, but hopefully next week all pot space will be taken. Kushes are behind, they will be fimed or toped. My LST style allows new branches to stretch up a bit and on second day i release leaves from prison, despite being lifted from soil, they touch each other and sweat, that brings static moist - highway to mold problems. But on first LST training i touch, bend them a lot, target to free up and expose all branches to light, at this time main top usually lowest. Wash your hands and do it before watering . If you need you can twist stem left or right, to find best position for easy tucking, if you can't - sometimes view leaves has to fall ... Day 24. Heavy training straight before night, hope to make everything : 1. New floor fans 2. New air fans 3. Heavy wave of LST and pot management 4. Watering. All done ! Had no time to make photos, but girls got tie supports around pots, loads of tucking, few soft wires and loads of showers, they will be fed tomorrow .. Don't forget its day 20-22 from first sign of life, both main strains grow amazing and super compact. Kushes a bit struggling, they didn't enjoy 6.0 watering and i think light and humidity is way of range for younger plants... plus sensitive to nutes ? But they fight and grow, will have to top them next week. Day 25. I know sometimes it happens, but one of Cheeses was too fat and thick and snaped during night after heavy LST session. First time in my life, once i snaped myself, now pressure did the thing ... Day 30. Work took me totally away from growing, have no time, just water them and spray twice a day. Tomorrow should be next LST training done. Will upload how they bushed out. Happy growing !!!

Just at the end of week # 2 in bloom , LST training is going well and the canopy is pretty full , cooler outside temps allow me to use my co2 burner and they are all looking great with lots of bud sites and liking the nutrient balance, made new nuits today and it went from 1400 to 1150 in two feedings , one more week of stretch and then I will finish the under canopy cleanup and plan on a light defoliation at week 4 of bloom. The 8 Ball Kush is really showing great growth and it’s early on , should be some huge buds this crop , the Blue OG Kush is healthy , it’s my first time with it so I’m not sure what it grows like . may 19: day 22 flower half strength nute scedule from GHE without additives

So we are in the middle of week 10 and I feel pretty comfortable feeding them now, pretty much the same until next week when I give more Top Max. I've seen much more explosive growth on other diaries but I have to say I'm pretty proud so far for my first attempt. Staring at those fresh furry little balls of life is surreal, getting to this point is great, but it's far from over. So I kept the same feeding this week, still adding the Great White with mycorrhizae (and like 40+ other microbes) once a week as it says per directions. The BioBizz products are easy to use and hold up well, so I'm feeling better about going with them even though I had some issues at the beginning (all my fault most likely). I can dial in the feeding mixture PPM now first try to where I want it, so far 700ppm of a gallon every 2 days has been working out. I feel like at the start I was over watering because people say water everyday in coco, well that seems to be for the coco bricks. I am using FoxFarm Bush Doctor Coco Loco (long ass title just for some coco coir) with additional perlite and it has a lot more holding capacity than just normal bricked coco coir. For checking on when it needs water I still use the method of digging into the topsoil an inch and weighing the pots by hand. Also I've noticed if they are pretty tired looking after lights on then I'll water. Like everyone said, consistent fertigation has been the hardest part as a beginner. First week I'm posting a video, the fan can't oscillate so I turn it to the right, left, and keep it center as well as raise and lower it so there is decent airflow. I wouldn't say it's optimal but it works for now. I've raised the lights about 3 inches just so the top colas don't get burnt, I've also found the sweet spot on the potentiometer (power knob) where I can get maximum power without raising the temperature above 77f, which it quickly goes above 80f if I exceed it. I've done minor defoliation before each feeding (so like every 2 or 3 days), mostly just clearing the leaves from above while keeping the important sugar leaves and some fan leaves, even though most the large fan leaves have long died/turned. If you watch the first video I've posted you'll notice an injury on her, unfortunately I didn' I feel like I've failed on the C99 X Blueberry Auto, in fact I took it out of the title. I definitely kept it in nutrient lock even after repeated flushings, it seems to have grown a little and even looks like it's accepted its new life as a stunted sideshow geek never thinking of being the in the spotlight under my grow tent. On the plus side, the two normal Desert Lemon photo's look great, even if one is starting to look leggy. They haven't shown their sexes but it looks like they soon will, because frankly I don't have enough room and would like the leggy one to be gone. The two other shortest plants looks nice and green, shortest being the Black Sugar photo that I did some minor LST with tent stakes - and the very beautiful Gelat.OG photo that is so symmetrical it makes me want to put her in the spotlight (aka position 1 which I give most room/light priority too). Erste Blühwoche und der Sticky Brokoli hat beschlossen, dass Kompaktheit zwar nett war, Höhe aber jetzt auch ganz charmant ist. Der Stretch ist deutlich, aber wohlerzogen, kein wildes Spargeln, eher ein kontrolliertes „Ich könnte noch“. Viele Triebe mussten trotzdem gehen; keine Tragödie, sondern klassische Personaloptimierung. Wer es nicht rechtzeitig Richtung Licht geschafft hat, wurde höflich, aber endgültig aussortiert. Nach der Entlaubung wirkt das Blätterdach wieder wie geplant und nicht wie ein schlecht gelüfteter Dschungel. Licht kommt durch, Luft zirkuliert, die verbliebenen Triebe stehen stabil und selbstbewusst da. Technisch bleibt alles angenehm unspektakulär: EC 1,8, pH 5,9 Bisher ein entspannter Grow, gute Struktur, Stretch unter Kontrolle. Der Brokoli wird langsam sticky, und man ahnt, dass das hier kein Snack, sondern ein Hauptgericht wird. 😎

SUMMARY: Switched up to Mid Bloom strength nutes this week. I have also started adding 1 tablespoon of organic blackstrap molasses per every 5L. Though some argue this is purely for use in soil to feed the bacteria there is argument that it also acts as a bloom booster due to its active ingredients. She is fattening up nicely though not many tops and so I need density from these. DAY 51 ------ Sunday 21st February 11:30 I made 5L of early bloom nutes at a pH of 5.8 and 5L of mid bloom nutes at a pH of 5.6, both made with tap water. Sunday 21st February 18:30 I fed the NL 1.2L of early bloom nutes which produced roughly 300ml runoff (25%). DAY 52 ------ Monday 22nd February 11:45 I made 5L of mid bloom nutes with rain water at a pH of 5.9. I am adding half a tablespoon of molasses to every 5L now by adding just enough boiling water to liquify the molasses and then pour it into the feed. Monday 22nd February 18:30 I fed the NL 1.4L of early bloom nutes with molasses which produced roughly 335ml runoff (24%). [22°C/55%] DAY 53 ------ Tuesday 23rd February 18:30 I fed the NL 1.4L of early bloom nutes which produced roughly 400ml runoff (29%). With the dehumidifier set to 50% RH it seems to keep it at around 50% RH though the temps between 25-30°C. If I turn the dehumidifier off the RH climbs to 60-64%. Removing more leaves will lower the humidity and I do pluck the odd one every day that is blocking light (I rotate the plants daily 25° per day to ensure all sides get a fair share of light). [25°C/50%] DAY 54 ------ Wednesday 24th February 18:30 I fed her 1.4L of early bloom nutes with molasses which produced 200ml runoff (10%). The temps have risen to 30°C due to the dehumidifier. It is currently set to 50% RH which keeps the temps around 28-30°C and the RH at around 38-40%. I have increased the setting to 65% to see if that helps lower the temp and increase the RH up to 45-50%. [30°C/40%] DAY 55 ------ Thursday 25th February 11:30 I made 10L of mid bloom nutes with rainwater and molasses (level tablespoon per 5L). 5L at a pH of 5.9 and 5L at a pH of 5.8 Thursday 25th February 18:30 I fed the NL 1.6L of mid bloom nutes which produced roughly 610ml runoff (38%%). [22°C/55%] DAY 56 ------ Friday 26th February 11:30 I made 10L of mid bloom nutes with rainwater and molasses (level tablespoon per 5L). 5L at a pH of 6.0 and 5L at a pH of 5.6. Friday 26th February 18:30 I fed the NL 1.4L of mid bloom nutes which produced roughly 420ml runoff (30%). [22°C/55%] DAY 57 ------ Saturday 27th February 18:30 I fed the NL 1.4L of mid bloom nutes which produced roughly 410ml runoff (29%). [22°C/55%]

Struggling with temps this week, heat wave in uk and tent getting up to 32c during the day. Bought a dehumidifier for the final few weeks of flowering so hopefully can get it down to at least 40% and should cool down this week. Suffering from nite burn on the gorilla glue, think it maybe due to plant taking in nutrients too fast due to the heat so have scaled down for now. Having said all this still really happy with how my first grow is going and now can’t wait to see the final outcome! Happy growing!
