End of week 4, beginning of week 5. This will be my second complete grow in a RDWC system. I have just over 18 months experience in growing. For the first year I had a few plants that I grew whilst doing my homework. I'm still applying my learning's but I think the pictures are enough for me to claim I've done pretty well completely on my own. Still undecided in defoliating but that top shot I have is a pretty damning photo. My idea is to let the plant choose by removing sicker leaves in there that I can pull off easily or feel damp and soft from humidity. In saying that...it's been healthy all through atm. I think the lights below really help in keeping the humidity down a little and also negating the shade response from how thick it is. Anyway, still experimenting, lots to learn.

This week brought some challenges—I discovered thrips on the leaves of my plant. Thankfully, the infestation isn’t too severe yet, and I acted quickly to address the issue: 1. Sprayed the plant with plain water to knock off any pests. 2. Removed the top layer of soil. 3. Applied BioBizz Leaf Coat as a protective measure. I really hope this will help. After reading up on these nasty pests, I learned that they can completely devastate the leaves if left unchecked. Unfortunately, I have only myself to blame for their appearance. Due to the cold weather, I’ve been using a heater in the room with my growbox, which has caused the humidity to drop significantly. It sometimes dips as low as 30%, and it rarely goes above 50%. Most of the time, the humidity hovers around 35-40%, which is an ideal breeding ground for thrips. To answer the obvious question—yes, I do have a humidifier. However, my growbox has a very powerful exhaust fan (315 m³/h for an 80x80 space), so the air is refreshed too quickly for the humidifier to make a lasting difference. Aside from fighting thrips, I also made some adjustments to my grow this week. On Day 20, I did a little LST. Honestly, I wasn’t planning on using any training techniques in this grow, but I decided to give it a try anyway. One thing I can say for sure—I want to skip LST in my next grow. It’s quite inconvenient to water the plant when the leaves are practically touching the soil. Additionally, I defoliated the first two sets of leaves. I felt this was necessary to improve airflow around the plant and reduce the risk of pests spreading further. As said before, I'm incredibly happy that I got to harvest a little bit. Never expected her to make it, but she kind off did! The smell was pungent and sweet like an amnesia haze should be, hoping that will be even better after drying and curing!

Esta semana fue solamente de flush 🚿 en esta ocasión decidí usar florakleen para ver con cual obtengo mejor resultado si con este o con flawless finish, lo hice así, primero hice un lavado con pura agua con ph de 6.2 lo hice desde el ultimo día de la semana anterior, fue lavado doble, uno en cuanto se encendio la luz y otro justo antes de apagarse, luego empezando esta semana regué dos dias usando el florakleen y ph de 6.2, el tercer día no regué y al final de ese día le di corte ✂️ y la colgué, actualmente ya la tengo curando, la tuve 10 días secándose con una humedad de entre 50 y 60% para un secado lento.

I want to get in here this week and do my last trim/prune before the resin starts flowing. The Voodoo Plant opened this week. It smells like rotten stuff so the flies pollenate it. It's only a 4 day flower before it goes bad. I showed some of the sweat shirts and t-shirts I put image's on, with a ink jet printer and some iron on transfer paper. Gimme dem Pörpel Buds ecco 29.03.2024 Day 115 Mr. Pipi chopped off one Branch(13,6g wet). Since April 1st gonna be a date to celebrate for Germany, Mr. Pipi wants to do so with some early Harvest. Just because I can. 😄😄 And around 3-7 Days the rest of the plant will be ready, hopefully. Mr. Pipi feels like its over 50% Milky and the amber ones are a bit rare. But we are close my friends. So Let´s all be happy and welcome the german growers officially🙌🙌 I tried to take sweet shots of the branch, but Mr. Pipi is amateur. and the branch was curved 😵. But i hope you enjoy.

WoW many crystals have formed overnight, almost as if she went out and partied hard and forgot to wipe her “nose” before she got back home... No complaints at all, just watering daily with pH 6.4 water and adding compost tea. Going to do a phosphorous boost on her this week since she is starting to pack on mass... Thanks for reading.

The front left one is some clear mostly cloudy a few amber The rest are some clear mostly cloudy no amber They reak of sweet gassy and very tropical citrusy. They have been getting 1000-1600 ppfd since week 4 . The tops are rock hard but still have some softness to them. I think I’ll harvest day 60-63 we shall see

I did get some nasty burns, but as you can see on the last picture they look way better now. They seem to grow fine. Today on the 22th i watered them for the first time after watering them 11 days ago while putting them in the 2l pots. (500-600ml each plant) The cripple still is slower but it seems like it also recovered. On the 22th the Special Queen #1 seed did germinate and on the 23th the root did come out so i did put it in the 2l Pot, but this time without Bio Tabs, i only did use mycotrex (2g), the rest will come with the 11l pot then. I think i over watered it a little bit since the new leaves are hanging a little bit (the first leaves did hang from the beginning so i doubt that is water related with those) I also noticed today for the first time, when i open my tent it does already smell pretty tasty. Didn't thought it would happen that fast. Also i already learned a lot. Even tho i tried my best to inform myself from the beginning, i made many mistakes which i will never do again. You can prepare yourself as you want, you will still have some failures and that is fine. So im not ashamed of my little plants by now. I will make them survive and a great final result. Looking forward to the next weeks. /edit Last day of the week. There were Roots at the bottom of two pots, so i decided to plant them into the final 11l Pots, i also added biotabs (little bit less since both had some of it from the beginning. Everything went fine. The next days i will give them slowly more ppfd and next week i think i will top them and also tie them a little bit down.

Essa genética é uma cruza que fiz em algumas flores da Franco Lemon Cheese da Green House Seed. Utilizei o pólen da minha primeira planta que era um macho. Foi um processo a longo prazo. Coletei e armazenei o pólen por um ano e só depois de uns 4 ou 5 ciclos, polinizei a Franco Lemon Cheese. Todo esse processo levou em média 2 anos, e não foi nada planejado. Por aqui trabalhamos com o que temos e quando temos. A germinação foi feita no copo com água e água oxigenada volume 10. Após a radícula aparecer (3 dias) foi direto para o substrato, posicionei bem a radícula no solo e esperei a casca da semente se quebrar. Essa parte não é um processo fácil para uma pessoa ansiosa que já não estava conseguindo germinar as últimas sementes disponíveis. Mas quem diria, depois de tantos anos, uma cruza feita em casa de forma artesanal, viria a germinar… Vamos acompanhar o crescimento dessa guerreira!
