Another week down and things just keep getting better and better with this one. Big fat buds laced in resin and the smell is soooo good and strong! Very strawberry-like with a ton of gas that my carbon filter is doing a poor job of covering up. Oh well, smells good. :) I will start flushing about mid way through its growing week and then chop shortly after. It’s getting so close to finished I’m just waiting for more amber. I’m mostly cloudy right now.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 21 september What a week...nothing but rain. MAROC got chopped, she suffered from mould the worst. Grapefruit does a better job in this terrible weather. Few spot with mould were detected and those branches were removed. Every time keeping alcohol at hand to clean immediatly. Carefull not to spread the stuff. Curled/ twisted leaves, black spot are the first indications of rot. I have taken rotting flowers and leaves out and buried them. 2 weeks with little sleep and carefully checking every bud twice on each visit. Now we have 3 sunny days. She will get chopped before the next rain. Hopefully the sun to come is enough for her too bulk up a bit. I would love those calyxes to be fat and swollen. I have given up on reaching amber trichs. Weather wont allow it.

I really enjoy growing these plants. They change every day. The 2 bigger onee start to have purple all over the leafs. The tallest is craaaaazy frosty. When I open the growbox there comes a smell like a punch in my face. They smell very strong and they smell amazing. 3 different phenos, 3 different smells and structures. It is like growing 3 different strains but all 3 of them seem to be special. I hope the grow finishes as well as it went till today.🙏🌴🍪 🌴🍪🌲🍊⛽️🔥

Parece que ha terminado de estirar. Practico una defoliación intensa para airear los futuros cogollos y dejar mas espacio en el cuarto de cultivo. Agrupo de nuevo las macetas en su lugar optimo para asi rellenar por completo la carpa @marshydro. Me quedé algo corto de nutrientes pero estoy muy contento con los resultados, cada vez le voy encontrando mas su punto optimo. Siempre es mejor quedarse corto que pasarse.

Going into week 9, seeing some frost on the leaves and the aroma is stronger and so nice. She looks great after the heavy defoliation last week, contrary to opinions from a few critics. Sometimes I like to find out for myself, I read many different viewpoints on defoliation and I decided to try. And it worked. Peace friends, happy growing! 🌱👍

DAY49 7 Weeks Buds are hard. Smell is extreme. Very limited amount of spidermites under some leaves. No reason to exterminate them, because next week I'll probably harvest the plants. The smell of the Triple G is fanastic, Big separated buds. The Cookies Gelato are more sativa style of buds than I'm use of them. There leaves are turning purple. The Liberty Haze has a lot of small leaves in the buds, and thet got amasing blinking white flowers. Probably this will be the plants I'll harvest the last, because they need some extra flowering time. The Wedding Gelato is creamy, lots of trichomes and is fast flowering. But some flowers got budrot. I'ts hard to get the humidity low because of the rainy and misty autumn outside.

Big defoliation this week! Being my first ever grow I was a little worried but I have been reassured it is for the best so can’t wait to see how she turns out! I have also had a ph issue this week for some reason the ph levels in my reservoir kept dropping I have monitored the ph levels daily topping up the reservoir with more water to raise the ph so hopefully things settle down. This girl is looking better and better every day her stickybudz 😏 are coming along really nicely and is starting to produce more of a smell to her now can’t wait to see the final out come! Through week 2 of the stretch and it’s a bloody mess of super crops with about 8”of headroom to the lights.😂. Bit of a disaster definitely suggests a need to lower the table height slightly. My own errogance wins again. I know better than not to top or fim under these conditions, just figured we’d get better control on an extremely short veg. Cycle. Wayyy off there lol. Still another stretch week to go which means they’ll be more cropping to follow with it as well. Is what it is and we’ll have to make due. No issues with the plants whatsoever yet👍. Background This cycle of clones represents all the potential of this F1 line of WalkerBerry OG. Bred by myself over the last couple of years. This genetic shows excellent hybrid vigour, incredibly stable nutrition requirements to date and an eclectic mix of long and short internodal spacing bu specimen. We know we have indica and sativa dominant traits spread evenly across the 6 available clones. Now it’s just a matter of seeing them run out under controlled and pollen free conditions. We’ve labelled each plant and it’s resulting seed accordingly. Once we get to the F2 run, we’ll hopefully be able to isolate down to 2-3 phenos if the bud is any good. From there, who knows. It’d be great to get to a finished, stable generation that would be fem worthy but that could be a very long way off. For now - we’ll focus on this line and see where it goes🤞🤞.

The week is progressing as usual. They continue to grow, flourish, and get denser. I continue the same feeding regimen, 1 nute feeding and 2 to 3 plain water feeding before another round of nutes. 3 liters seems to be the sweet spot for them in these 10 gallons. Every 3 to 4 days.
