We have lift-off! She has stretched her little heart out this past week. This growth spurt inevitably came with a load of foliage, so I've been defoliating through the week - just a little each day - to keep the airflow nice. She is loving the Bud Explosion. Bud sites are starting to swell up nicely, and the fragrant aroma is getting more and more every day, quite zesty, very citrus. More lemony than orange at the moment, but still early days. The first hint of frost is beginning to set in, and she is looking a very healthy plant, hopefully should get some nice trichome production. This is my first photo-period plant, and in all honesty it's gone a lot smoother than some of the autos I've grown! No deficiencies, no pH or EC issues, no heat stress :) I deliberately gave it a long veg time so it didn't feel rushed, but moving forward I wouldn't want to have 1 plant taking up that much space for that long. SOG might be the way to go, but that's for another day. Current feeding: CalMag: 0.5ml / liter Megacrop: 5.5 grams / gallon Bud Explosion: 1.5 grams / gallon Will be running PK 13/14 for a week, probably starting some point this week when I next need to change the res. pH is currently 6 in the res, rising to 6.1 / 6.2 in the autopot tray. This is the sister diary of the Runtz showdown, in which we pit two great performing strains created by two highly acclaimed and respected breeders, in a duel to the death. This diary features the RUNTZ XL AUTO strain by SweetSeeds. In the meantime, all seeds have germinated and seemed to have a level start. Also here we loaded the grow with our magical intentions as we sowed on Imbolc, the celebration day of the Goddess of spring: Bridget. We cant wait to see where this will lead us. Both strains will have the exact same conditions, lighting, care and nutrition. The Lights Also here we use our trusty Mars Hydro SP-3000, where we are trying to get over 600 grams (2x gram per watt) we succeeded almost on the previous grow, where we got to 1.5 grams per watt. We are starting in the regulars when these strains have only 4 to 5 weeks left to go, to double up on the 18hr light schedule. SEMANA 2 - DÍA 8 Tengo experiencia con la gama PURE AUTO de la casa, por lo que puedo afirmar que en todas las tandas que hago, alguna sufre malformación genética, y eso influye en el proceso. En esta ocasión, le agregue al sustrato un 50% de coco y estoy regando como de costumbre, con lo mínimo (50ml), a ver si soy capaz de estirar la planta a 1 metro. It was a perfect 11-week cycle, everything went very well, I really liked the result using the new Lec lighting system, my first cultivation in coconut, it was difficult to adapt with the watering at first, but I soon adapted. I really liked the result so far of 3 plants harvested, total of 1055kg wet, I still lack two plants to harvest. Post results later.

This girl keeps growing. Started shortening her light cycle as she is getting really big. I have bent the main tops so often so that the rest can catch up. She looks great thought... Love this plant.

Las plantas se ven bien, hice una pequeña defoliacion para sacar las hojas grandes que hacian sombra directamente sobre otras ramas. Ademas quite algunas de abajo que me complicaban un poco a la hora de regar.

This adventure seems like it'll be zenzational! These seeds were the first to burst and also first to sprout from soil out of all the other strain. Ladies are on a mission, they stretched upwards and spread the first leaves fast! My thoughts are they'll be some bushy ladies! 😍 I placed the seeds in 500ml cups with BioBizz Light Mix soil, beforehand I mixed 1 gram of Synergy per 4 liters of soil. These are live microbes called Mycorrhiza which live in symbiotic association with the roots. My idea is to leave them in this container for about 14-21 days until the roots develop correctly then transplant them to their final pot which will be an 11L fabric pot. As the light mix soil comes blended for at least two week of life, no nutrients will be added until after the transplant. Happy growing!

Woche über haben sich die Blüten weiter entwickelt. Die Trichome wurden mehr und man fängt an erste Terpene zu riechen. Wir haben Donnerstag (BT 2) stark entlaubt und schauen jetzt wie die Pflanzen wachsen. Tropi fängt an erste Farbakzente zu entwickeln in den Buds.

La humedad anda entre 60/70% la temperatura está entre 23/26 grados , y como siempre el ph , ya que es de lo más importante,está en 5,8/6,0. . I've been pulling the top small fan leaves to allow the side's to catch up. One plant is really tall and stretchy , One plant is very short and compact . The other 4 plants all look very similar to each other at this stage .

So far so good. Not all that much to say this week. She is still going strong but a bit slower than a few others i have growing now. Continuing the LST trying to keep as many bud sites exposed to the light as possible.

Egal, sie soll sehr fruchtig und zitronig schmecken und könnte schöne Farben bekommen. Außerdem soll Sie eine kurze Blütezeit haben. Auf den Geschmack bin ich schon jetzt gespannt, cremiges Haschisch. Mit bis zu 240cm könnte sie die größte im Greenhouse werden und würde dann bis zur Decke wachsen. Die Aussicht, meine Schätzchen immer im Trockenen zu Wissen, lies mich sofort (also sofort nach einem Recall mit meiner Liebsten) zuschlagen. Danach war nur noch ein teilweiser Umbau unseres Gartens nötig, einen kleinen Weg anders verlegen, ein Fundament ausheben, Bordsteine zersägen, 2 Zentner Beton verbuddeln, Löcher bohren, verdübeln und verschrauben ohne das der Beton ausplatzt, einen haufen Astwerk vom Wein opfern und viel Rasen neu anlegen, das war's schon fast. Neu: Sind auch die zwei 90 Liter Maurerbottiche, in denen sich meine Pflanzen wohlfühlen dürfen, 4x soviel Platz wie im letzten Summer Outdoor Grow. Zur Drainage habe ich Rheinkiesel 9-18 verwendet. Da drauf kam mein altes Erdmischungsrezept mit frischem Kompost von Piluweris, Lehm, den die Wühlmäuse ständig in unserem Rasen aufwerfen und Sand aus'm Kieswerk mit gaaanz viel Staub drinne, praktisch Gesteinsmehl. Auch hier gab's was Neues: Hornmehl zusätzlich, hatich früher schon verwendet und ganz vergessen. Der erste Sack Sonnenerde Hanferde wurde mit der oberen Schicht meiner Mischung vermischt. Der zweite Sack kam dann blank obendrauf. Neu: Für mich ist auch die angewendete Keimmethode noch neu, die Samen zuerst in einem Marmeladenglas mit temperiertem Wasser mit Zusatz von Wasserstoffperoxyd keimen zu lassen. Das ist jetzt das dritte Mal, dass ich diese Methode anwende. Der Vorteil daran ist die superschnelle Keimung, der Keim schaut tatsächlich bereits am nächsten Tag aus der Schale und nach ein oder zwei weiteren Tagen haben sich die Keimlinge von der Samenschale befreit. Das weitere Vorgehen bereitet mir noch Probleme. Ich verwende immer noch die SmartStart Plugs von Zamnesia die ich praktisch halbiere, also von oben nach unten einmal Mittendurch. Dahinein lege ich jetzt den Keimling und klappe die zwei Hälften dann zusammen und pflanze den Plug in den Topf. Neu: In die Wannen kommen zusätzlich Gäste als da wären erprobte und neue sowie überwinterte Chilisorten, verschiedene Basiliken oder -kums, Weiße Melisse, Roter Klee, paar Blumen und so. Tag 16: Die drei Jungen verbrachten die letzten Tage und Nächte Indoor. War einfach zu Nasskalt draussen. Morgen soll es wieder warm werden, endlich können die kleinen wieder raus. 0,05 Liter Wasser. Tag 17: Mit der provisorischen Heizung bleibt die Temperatur im Greenhouse über 10°C, sogar knapp 12°C. Tag 18: . 0,05 Liter Wasser. Tag 19: Richtiges Sauwetter draussen. Musste tatsächlich den ganzen Tag die "Heizung" bei den Kleinen anlassen. Leg heute Nacht lieber drei Kerzen unter die Glocke. Extremely disappointed with the yield but that is my mistake by keeping this 100% indica from getting bushier and expecting it to stretch more. Definitely many lessons learned this grow. Going to add weekly flushes with beneficials in my next grow schedule from now on.

I ended up over watering while flushing from the nute burn, as i finished the flush i did a calmag feed and my deficiency got worse. Not sure what’s going on here!! But buds are stacking nicely and getting dense. The tall plant looks to be a week or 2 ahead of the bushy plant

So being my 1st hydro/RDWC grow and it’s been ages since I’ve had photoperiods I flipped to flower a little on the early side to be safe. With each grow the more I learn the more I’ll push but, for now I’m playing it safe. The Growbuds trellis nets helped out a lot being my 1st time using! Gotta say I’m loving them.
