Welcome to Flower Week 9 of Sensi Seeds Mandarine Jam I'm excited to share my grow journey with you from my Sensi Seeds Project . It's going to be an incredible ride, full of learning, growing, and connecting with fellow growers from all around the world! For this Project , I’ve chosen the Feminized Photo Strain Mandarine Jam: Here’s what I’m working with: • 🌱 Tent: 120x60x80 • 🧑‍🌾 Breeder Company: Sensi Seeds • 💧Strain Info : 20-23% • ⏳ Flowering Time: 7-8weeks

This strain is very heterozygous. 4 seeds were started. The 4 phenos were very different. I saved 2 of those phenos for my arsenal, which is quite exceptionnal. I ususally save just one pheno from a strain. The Pheno #1 was mainly sativa (75%). Long branches. Lots of fluffy buds. The more resistant to mold, but it has to be with the fluffiness. The taste was cheesy and spicy, which has nothing to see with the 3 other phenos. Not a single ressemblance with ak-47 parents as well. It shares the musky undertones of the strain, but nothing else. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. Terpene profile was deceiving, just as the cannabinoid content. The Pheno #2 has more indica in it (45% indica). robust and tall plant with dense heavy buds. No mold resistance at all. Biggest producer. The taste was earthy and musky with hints of wood. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. The Pheno #3 is my favorite one. It reminded me of the good old Ak-47, with her flowery/sweet/skunky smell and taste. Pure nostalgia! Tall and quite robust plant with huge fluffy buds coated with trichomes. She grows pretty similar to Lemon Skunk if you know the reference. Great producer of top quality buds. So sticky! In my top 3 sativa for 2 years. The aroma is very close to the old school Ak-47: sweet, flowery and skunky. It tastes like sweet lemon on the inhale, with a sharp touch of spicy lavender and earth on the exhale. IMO, that is the pheno we want to save from that heterozygous strain. Backcrossing this one would be a very good idea. The Pheno #4 is just as interesting as my favorite #3. The only issue with this one is about mold resistance. Crazy compact and heavy budst! One of the most productive I’ve ever seen too. More traits of the Ak-47 in the aromatic profile, but nothing like the #3. On the structure side, we can immediately recognize the sturdy and bushy structure of Ak-47. THC content is very high too. I suspect the CBD content to be high as well. The effect is a mood elevation, with good focus and a deep body relaxation; a bit similar to what White widow does. The aroma is earthy and pungent. Very skunky and musky. It tastes very sweet and earthy on the inhale, with hints of skunk on the exhale. That pheno #4 expresses the best traits of the Ak-47 in its structure, while pheno #3 kept the aromatic profile.

Unfortunately, not going to take a sample from Chill Out OG #2 as her terpenes are not quite what I’m looking for. - [19:46]: Cut a branch from both Heady OG BX1 #1 and TKO #2 --- Trimmed up each branch and placed the samples in jars. --- Both have distinctly different fuel profiles, but wow TKO #2 is surprisingly louder and while trimming, she was greasy and sticky with trichomes. --- Time to smoke and compare the two samples. Nice. --- The unexpected surprise is TKO #2 as she may not even need curing at all. She already has a strong kushy lemon-fuel profile and wow her buds are greasy with trichomes. Nice. - [19:57]: Added worms to each pot in the main tent. --- Also added worms to each pot with a mother plant in the veg tent. - [20:09]: Okay, now back to the trim. --- Decided to use the ACI Bowl trimmer on Chill Out OG #2 --- Depending on the results, may use the bowl trimmer on TKO #2 --- Okay let’s go. ------ [ » A FEW HOURS LATER.. « ] - [+02:38]: Done with trimming for now. --- After using the bowl trimmer on Chill Out OG #2, decided to hand trim the rest. Bowl trimmer is quicker, but also got a decent amount of trim shake. --- Started to trim TKO #2 and wow she is a terpy one. She is greasy with trichomes and has a pungent OG kush-fuel profile with a hint of sweet-lemon-piney dankness. Nice. --- Plan to finish trimming TKO #2 tomorrow which will then leave Heady OG BX1 #1 for the rest of the jars. Hello and welcome to week three for Enigma. Day 15: She is a bit sad today. I dropped her yesterday she took quite a jolt, and I think I overwatered her, so I upended her and waited until some drips came out, and then stuck a straw down to the bottom of the pot and blew air into the medium. She became a little less droopy within an hour of that, I am keeping an eye on her. It is going to be really hard to manage feeding her without over-watering her. I have certainly set myself a real challenge with this pot. Day 16: Enigma is hungry but over hydrated. The only thing I can think to try is making a special extra-strong nutes just for her. Day 18: Starting to find the balance of moisture. This is not easy at all. Day 19: Decent bit of growth today. Overall this lady is showing strong signs of being severely restricted by the pot size. No training at all intended, let's just see what happens. Day 20.5: She's perked up quite a bit since the photo. My extra strong nute regime seems to be paying off. She is maintaining a narrow form I am starting to wonder if roots act a bit like a cats whiskers? A cat's whiskers grow to the width of the cat's widest part... and they use them to know if they will fit through something. In observing these various cannabis plants, I am beginning to notice a correlation between plant width and pot width. This is bolstered by the evidence of transplanted plants rapidly stretching in width when introduced to a much wider pot. If my working theory has any basis in reality then an optimal pot would be short and fat rather than tall and narrow. I am probably going to test this theory with some clones. A second note of interest pertains to the quick shockingly rapid growth of both Misty and Nesia. These plants are even way ahead of where Citronella was, and I have been consistently delighted with Her Majesty. Is it simply starting them in bigger pots from seed? That has some impact I'm sure. Nevertheless I feel not enough impact to explain the massive difference. I think it's the nutes. Time for an admission, I have been being very lazy with the fertigation. I mix up 10l of nutes based on the stated dosages for the eldest plant (Karen)....and then I feed all of the plants with this even the ones that are much younger. So both Misty and Nesia got nutes for a plant in week 4 from seed and each week they increased. Could it be that the key to organic nutes in coco is to massively over-nute? Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Day 21: Weekly summary: some problems early this week but corrected and she's much happier today.

gsc is about a week away from harvest blueberry will be shortly after and og kush plus blueberry muffin are a little longer still, they were slow to start flowering.

Day 85. One day they look so nice, other too thin ;)))) Found out that my center led lost almost 50% of light output, will check after this grow. On other hand all is bright , SuperStacked Zkittalicious is making my heart sing and it should be lovely small run .... Day 88. Girls got water and BioBizz FishMix, very light, just 280 ppm. All looks very good, see some waxy leaf beginning, so next feed is BioSys and Great white with BioBizz WormHumus rubbed into top soil and at least two pure water goes after it. Monster Zkittalicious looks insanely good, like 20 stacked colas in max 1.5 feet square ... Very lovely plant. Happy Growing !

Looking for optimal led height. RQS' Northern Lights auto and Diesel auto look very sophisticated and detailed. They are standing in the middle. Rest of the plants are auto lemon Hazes and they have may varieties. Two are growing very fast and two are stunted. At least one more week of indoor growing before going outside in a bigger pot.

11/02 - Pre-harvest 109g of wet bud (tare weight of plate 358g). Letting the rest go for some more days. Light lowered to 28cm. 16/02 - Plant fully harvested. Total 209 g wet with all the stem you see on the last pic. Hang drying in 20-21°C, 55-60% humidity. Strong hay smell of the pre-harvest buds, not yet ready. Will update final dried weight later to see the results. 19/02 - After 8 days of drying, the pre-harvested buds have been trimmed & moved to curing stage in jar. 24g dry out of that batch (was 109g wet). Monitoring humidity in the jar to keep around 62%. Still leaving the second harvest to hang and dry 2 more days. 21/02 - Total dried result: 24g nice top buds 13g second grade buds from second harvest 12g loose popcorn buds for edibles Total 49 g / 57 watts 0.86 g/watt ratio. Not too bad, but can and will be improved next run. Lessons learnt: 1. Definitely will build some activated carbon filter to decrease smell. 2. More lollipopping / defoliation on lower parts at start of flower to decrease loose popcorn. 3. More balanced nutes in pre/mid flower to avoid extensive yellowing. 4. Adding bone meal to soil from start to let it degrade fully. 5. Applying 4 times of bottom feed to avoid drying out the bottom of pot. 6. Never let lights closer than 27cm. 7. Maybe try 20/4 schedule. 8. Might let it go beyond week 16 to let trychomes start to amber. Luckily the hay smell is totally gone during the cure. Very happy with the results. It’s still been a trial & error process, while “training” I’m constantly afraid of hurting the plant haha. But so far I’m satisfied, if I could get 10 decent grams out of her I’d be happy. Weather has been picking up nicely but still some cold evenings 7-10 d.celcius. Started feeding her some Black Strap Molasses. I forgot to add that I’m really not sure whether she is in flowering or not. & would cutting of like 3 fan leaves be a problem?

She is loaded right now very heavy and potent yielding plant oh yeah thanks 420 fastbuds I will be getting more of your seeds you rock Guys im so happy I boughy fastbuds seeds It was great to see this second seed pop an amazing grapefruit we did fiming and she eneded up with many colas and many flowers plus super frosty and smelly Also turned purple all buds which to us was a surprise and did not expect that Since last grapefruit was different than this Thanks a lot for all your support Imagine if we had a full spectrum light I think we would be growing trees Honestly we have more than we expected COMING from an Indoor thats nearly located in a tropical climate of 30/33 degrees most of the year and with that said raising temps very hot sometimes very humid thats close to the equator So we have to use A/C all times and maintain humidity levels by spraying all walls to keep it around 45/60% while ac is on remember droping temps so we have to make it as comfortable as possible and that its not easy in this side of the world OR either you need a lot of money which I dont have yet to build a super setup and a separate ROOM with all of that temp and great humidity lvls so yeah we do what we can with our budget We live somwhere where things are pretty much fckd up but it is what it is Hey at least we are safe because it is illegal lol so yeah brothers we have hard times And still with all risk we here doing our best Showing all support Showing im greatful TO find a space like this where We all can share like and Comment And help each other grow better everyday Blessings to you all Keep EM buds coming Happy growing

Her aroma it's exactly the same that have her sisters. Very recognizable aroma, super super sweet and fruity I am Starting to feel more and more the cherry aroma. Very beautiful strain to grow. Very dense and compact nuggets. The size of the plant is not very big but her flowers are definitely top 🔝 and is gonna give a beautiful organic top harvest for me! Very recomended to you all growmies. Kthe aroma and the dense flowers will make you fall in love with her for sure. 💚✌️💦🌱❄️👨‍🌾

So, they’re still growing vertically, again, I had to go away for 3 days. Not planned. Tops got too close and a load of them burnt to a crisp, the seriously burnt ones have been cut off and the other ones that weren’t too bad have been bent down. It was 14 inches when the plant was flipped, I reckon she would be around 48 inches now if I didn’t have to hack at her. But disappointed as I reckon she would have been a beauty. But... life goes on and I’m sure she will yield alright when the time comes 4ish weeks time. Literally the only problem this week has been vertical space, plant itself is very healthy. Next time I better get a taller tent 🤦‍♂️
