1/25/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 1- took 2 Tops today and cleaned up a few lower leaves that were hanging down. The FiM seems to have worked well and looks like I have three branches coming in where it was FiMed. 1/26/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 2- took 2 Tops from the sides and took a little of the foliage that was touching the lid. She seems to be doing very well.. Water change day tomorrow.. YAY!! will get a good picture of the roots and see how she is doing. 1/27/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 3- Water Change Day! I noticed a slight red coming in on the STEMS which I added a pinch of EPSOM salt to help correct. Luckily for me the system was able to do what it do and hold it down until I was feeling better. 1/30/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 6- I was still to sick to go to my grow room... Her PH was down to 5.72 so I raised the PH back up closer to 6.0, I took a few pictures and got her height.. Feeling better through prayer so was able to get some pics today.

D54 (14/01/2021): First day for week 4 of bloom. I gave them tap water cause last time the PPM run off was a bit high. The PPM run off for Banana Kush today was higher then the run off for Glue Gelato. It's not the first time I see that so I think I can say that Glue Gelato uptake more nutrients compared to Banana Kush. If it become a problem I might consider doing two separate nutrients mix. - temp: 24-27C light ON ; 21-23C light OFF - water: PH6.7, 128 PPM approx. 4L per plant - run off: PH7 and 830PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH6.9 and 1220 PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 55% for light ON and OFF D55 (15/01/2021): I saw some brownish spots on small leaves for Glue Gelato. Last feed, Glue Gelato was the one with the lower PPM run off. I think the brown spots are due to calcium deficiency. Glue Gelato is an heavy feeder, I might give a good dose of nutrients next feed. Glue Gelato PH of the run off was on the high acceptable range. So it might also be a nutrient lock due to inappropriate soil PH. I need to check that closely... - temp: 24-27 C light ON ; 21-23C light OFF - no water - RH: 54% light ON ; 50-52% light OFF D56 (16/01/2021): I fed with 3/4 of the recommended dose for mid late flower. Run off for Banana Kush is still high. I will see how she react but so far she's the one who look the healthier! Maybe she doesn't mind having a ''hot'' soil. It's been 3-4 weeks since I did check the accuracy of my PH meter. I checked yesterday and I was off of PH0.4 (reading higher that it was suppose to be). I have a cheap PH pen so I need to check that often. It was expected. I flushed the Banana Kush until the run off passed below 1000 PPM. I did not flush the Glue Gelato since there is no sing of nutrient burn. They don't smell that much. When I open the tent, there is a weak smell but when I play with the leaves or shake the stems now I can smell them properly. Glue Gelato have a strong pine-citrus-fruity pungent smell and Banana Kush have a smooth tropical-fruity-candy smell. Both smell soooo good and the buds are starting to look really appealing 😍😋 - temp: 24-26C light ON ; 21-22C light OFF - water: PH6.3, 325 PPM - run off: PH6.9 and 1010PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH6.9 and 920 PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 55% light ON ; 51-52% light OFF D59 (19/01/2021): After 12 days of not removing any leaves today I did removed approx. 20 leaves on each plant. At the beginning of the week I thought it would be a harvest week, but it drives me crazy: as it goes on to develop so greatly that I am not sure it will be done in more couple of weeks!...

GENERAL COMMENT. WEEK 5 OF FLOWER. Ok guys, this week ran ok for one girl and less for her sister, so i will go on details individually. RQS NORTHERN LIGHTS AUTOMATIC COMMENT. As I has commenting since the beginning I think this could be a nice strain to grow with minimal water and nutes, keep that in mind when growing this strain, i learned the hard way. What happened with this girl is that salt builded up in the medium and de stabilised mainly the PH, creating a super acidic medium, thats my bad, i failed to id earlier. So back to spotting, and a bit of yellowing showing, so some deficiencies, i honestly don’t know how this is going to end. I flushed her 4 days a go with PH water to 6.5, that raised the medium runoff from 5.0 to 5.4-5.6, and flushed again with tap water, is alkaline at 8.1+, runoff is still 5.6, so that raised more concern with that input range getting so acidic runoff is bad, and in the end of flush received a dose of voodoo juice, big bloom, calmag and top candy, that are all organic at regular ph, EC at 1.8. I know the PH fluctuation can worse the scenario. I’m been apocalyptic is just that i’m feeling a bit turn down now, i was expecting this girl to run flawlessly, heads up will try my best to correct issues, just wished she was like her sister…

We’re approaching the finish line — the top buds are already nearly perfect. I’m just giving the lower ones a few more days before putting her into a 48-hour dark phase.

Day 57: 5 days of running RO water, and the ladies starts to show some minor Calcium deficiency, and Phosphorus Excess. at least this is what I think it is. About the Phosphorus Excess goes also very well with BIG plants advice against running Stimulus and Bud explosion at the same time. I have been done this for 2 weeks. (they actually have one week of this in early flowering in the feeding schedule, but generally advise against it) So I will take Bud Exp. out in the next mix. For the Calcium deficiency I will ad some more B, as I already are on the low side of the recommendation. The mix with RO water is a little tricky. before I've added only half the dosage, but now it seems like I need to ad accordingly to schedule, to make up an EC of 1.2 I am still adding 2x1 L for every lady a day Day 59: All ladies received another LST training. I have received the Mars Hydro TS 3000W and set it up. Day 63, the Fat banana, is killing it, it is a beast, OMG it is so bushy and around 65 cm high now, but the flower is still small. the biggest one has some dark color on the leafs expanding from the flower. The main stem is so thick. around 3 cm. I took all ladies out today and I notice that the FB was almost dry. perhaps it is not getting enough water. I will increase the fertigation to 3 times a day for the FB Day 63 the Stress killers are also looking amazing and just smell good, very citrus Trimmed out all the lover and small flowers, I don't think they will develop.

Harvest time! Only this time there were some problems that made me take another approach. The thrips are still active so I thought it would not be very wise to lock them up together with the bud inside a paper bag. So I’ve decided to just cut the entire top part of the plant main stem and all, and hang them inside the top of the tent. But ofcourse not before I have given them a thorough shake. Then from the lower part of the plant where still some bigger buds, which I’ve also cut, trimmed and shaken clean, before they did ended up inside the bag, leaving just the lowest part of the plant with all of the small buds I’ve intended to use to germinate and create some seeds. At this point the remaining part of the plants are inside my small garden greenhouse, and I’ll keep you posted if it’s going to succeed. Normally I’d preferred to trim the bigger leaf from the wet branches, then dry inside my paper bag and finally trimming the dry buds for bringing up the final bag appeal. Only now I’d chose to only remove the fan leaf and hang drying. I turned the ventilation almost on the lowest setting during drying. As I said with the strain review, I’m happy with the results from plant A and C. Plant B started revegging, and thus ended up with a lower end weight. A shame because it had the biggest buds. The positive thing about dry trimming is that you don’t actually have to trim anything, it takes a bit more time, but you can literally push the leafs from the bud.
