Last Veg week, now Flowering!!

4/15/25 Things are progressing nicely. Some plants dont seem to be doing too much but 3 of them or so that are really standing out. Im curious if some of these are going to be longer flowering time than anticipated with the very obvious sativa dominant plants.

As a nube, I'm not 100% sure that flowering has begun, but noticed an increased amount of new growth where the flowers should start to appear. So, on day 46, I began to transition over to the Flowering Stage. LIGHT CYCLE: Switched from 18/6 to 12/12. But, to minimize interruptions to the dark periods, I adjusted the start time from 5am-10pm (Ugh, just realized that's only 17, not 18 hours). The new schedule is now 6am to 6pm. LIGHT: For this week, to encourage both growth and flowering, I've switched on the Red LEDs in combination with the Blue LEDs. However, I raised the light up about 4 inches to try and avoid light burn. WATER/NUTRIENTS: I'm still watering with the remaining NPK mixture, but only about a cup per day.

Rainbow melon what can I say? This plant is absolutely one of my favorite so far out of the fast buds genetics. I’ve grown a couple other genetics before and I have to say fast buds definitely checks all the boxes almost makes it too easy. The plant literally grows itself like it has a mind of its own handling low stress training absolutely amazing. Seems like it wants to have a perfect canopy. Very little TLC and the plant absolutely is thriving. 🌿🔥

Gave a nutrient boost and set to 12 hr. Still doing LST but I will probably unleash once it actually starts flowering. Been a bit lazy with defoliation but that can wait until flowering as well. I think it will be due for cal mag and some flower nutes in the near future.

Harvested last night, truly strong smell, cultivation was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Very happy with the result, anxious for the drying and curing process! Thank you for following along.. 🤜🤛🌱🌿🌲

So these fastbuds testers are holding in there along side my aptus girls and I have selected the best 3 which includes 1 of each strain, plus 1 extra 410 tester which I have doubt in unfortunatley as it seems she may not catch up by time it comes too flip 👎 But we plod on and out of 9 seeds 6 popped and now 1 of each remain too continue their great positive journey ahead 🙏🤞 These girls have been bent too allow light too the lower branches and so far each seems too be thriving 🌱 This week I continue too lst and form them ready for flip in a week or so time 💚

This week was fully focused on correcting salt buildup and preparing a clean, controlled finish, with quality and terpene preservation as the main priorities. 🔹 Key irrigations – Final Flush was applied with real 30–40% runoff, successfully reducing EC levels in the root zone. – Follow-up irrigation with plain water only (pH 6.2) confirmed a consistent EC drop across all pots. – Plants are now in controlled senescence, with no signs of active nutrient lockout. 🔹 Runoff data Runoff EC is now within safe ranges (≈1.5–3.0 mS depending on plant), confirming the flush worked and roots are in end-of-cycle mode rather than aggressive uptake. 🔹 Environment & light – PPFD adjusted (~700–780 µmol/m²/s) – Stable temperatures – Humidity tightly controlled to protect dense colas Everything dialed in to preserve resin and avoid unnecessary stress. 🔹 Plant status Flowers are fully formed, trichomes mostly cloudy with early amber showing, final structure locked in. At this stage we’re no longer chasing bulk, but ripeness and internal clean-up. 📌 Plan Final days with minimal intervention, observing real pot weight and plant response. Harvest window is very close and right on target. ➡️ Next post will be harvest day and the start of drying. The plants continue to kick ass. New French Macaron and Chem Brulee leaves are all 9-fingered now. Crazy happy plants. Sprayed with light BT spray (trying to avoid any caterpillar issues this year as much as possible) early in the week. Sprayed with light Neem Oil / Castile Soap (no more dawn, no more issues!) late in the week. Today, June 9, I also defoliated a bit. Keep in mind that I don't want to do much this year as far as topping and training, so I've done one simple top on all of the plants, and essentially have created 4 main colas for each plant. I only did this to create some airflow under the plant. I don't plan on doing a lot of this stuff. Gonna let the sunshine do her thing. Even though these girls have some hot-ass super soil in there, I'm still going to be doing some top-dressing. Mixed this up and slathered it on there on Saturday, June 12. ------
