TommyBVRSA75 Two weeks (around 16 days) . I was ill with COVID and pneumonia. The grows changed to a new house with a yard with bright light but no direct sun. Only 2 hours a day of direct sun. No signs of overwatering or overfert. Clear leafs of Indica strain pheno and now i have great amount of uncertainty 'cause i germinated two seeds - a Auto Dark Purple and a Northern Light Blue, and one of the seeds didn't succeded. On first approach i think that the seed that breeded was the Auto Dark Purple, but now i am not so sure about it. Some of you with grow experience and at this stage with 30 days by the photos, what kind of strain do you think it is...a Auto Dark Purple or a Northern Lights Blue?? I already had a lot of seeds for my summer growns - RQS, Delicious Seeds and 42Fast Buds - Royal Cheese, Royal AK, Purple Queen Auto, Royal OG Kush, Northern Lights Blue Auto, Auto Jack Herer and my favourite Russian Auto of 42Fast Buds (compact, short, great strain and not a great yeld but an amazing smoke). Now i have two grows in the new house and 2 other on the old house A)- in the new house - One Auto Dark Purple(???)/Northern Lights(????) on a 12 L Flexapot and One Eleven Roses on a 12 L Flexapot. B) - in the old house - two Eleven Roses - One on a 26 L Flexapot and other on direct soil. I think that the evolution on the veg. phase is so far, normal and without no mistakes on watering or ferlization. I noticed that on the last 30 days only not more than two days ( one morning from 6a.m to 10 a.m; and one night from 2 a.m. up to 6 a.m), and the following days of this showering rain, represented a very significant raising on the leafs...so i hope that some Rain could fall on the next couple of days. There is no water like the rain water... Temperature of Mediterranean Spring : afternoon with 22/23ºC and minimum at early sunraise at 6 a.m around 8 to 10ºC. I started a low introduction of blackstrap molasses tea ( a tea spoon over 3.5L and not much than 10 dl/ day spreading around the rooting area. Please Jah Jah God, we need desperately rain over Southern Portugal and Spain (Andaluzia and Algarve...heavy draught on the last 4 years and only 11% of the normal raining rate registered on this area from 2000 up to 2015). Some feedback is wanted for some good advice about what kind of strain could be the one on the photos.

TommyBVRSA75 At least Rain, not too much, but showering rain that blessed the grows. Problem 1 : during the rainy days, short amount of sunlight rate not more than 10.000lux and not bright lights to develop the veg Phase. Correction on fertilizer in grains, adding Siro NKP 14-6-8 Se (11-8) slow release and some differences noticed such as a small odor is already perceptible. On 14th March a phenomena that sometimes occur on Iberian Peninsula, that is the "Sahaara desert Calima", a low pressure system is formed over central Sahaara desert region raising tons of brown/orange dust heavy low cloud that covers the sun and that normally ends with rain, and that rain is an dirty rain composed by water and desert dust. Some specialists say that this dust and rain is a very good addition of Nitrogen and Potassium, but despite of it the leafs get covered by this kind of "cement", reducing photosintesys rate and avoiding that the sun get properly Over the surface. So measures had been Taken such as spraying the leafs with RO Water and despite of this foliar shower you can see that some desert dust still remain. The growth still developing and now it is visible that lots of leafs are coming all the way. Next days, a whole raining week is forecasted and at this point, sunlight would be much more important that a sequence of days only with showering low rate Rain and low sun intensity. But Jah Jah God is on command and i ask for Rain, last week and careful for what you wish...

TommyBVRSA75 Another week with consecutive rain and days with little direct sun. Still a strong vegetative growth and many leaves along with the internodal spaces. This week I started with fertilization using a mix of organic and mineral (Bionova Autoflowering Supermix + Fish Mix Biobizz - from the Trypack All in Outdoor/Soil pack). I'm continuing with black molasses without sulfates, amino acids, and root growth agent (Biolcan Bioroot). The water I've been using has been rainwater, but lately, I've treated the tap water with Tetra Aquasafe (for aquariums, which removes chlorite, fluoride, and heavy metals). In the absence of RO water, I believe this cleaning agent does a basic clean without contaminating the plants and substrate. I've also ordered LST clips from RQS to position the inner leaves to catch some sun. We're still in a very solid grow and without problems, despite the huge amount of rainwater and the short sun from the last few days. Jah Jah God in command...

TommyBVRSA75 The "Beautiful Lady" is thriving as One of the Outdoor Natural Wonders of the Growth World. The colour, the scent, the visual appeal...isn't She Gorgeous??? Still having doubts about the strain but clearly a Indica pheno and a world classe genetics. I registered some white flies and a snail wondering around but some neem oil treatment started very quickly ( 2ml/L solution for leaf spraying) and the week after (3.5ml/L solution for direct watering on Roots) and nome of the plagues were seen after that. As you can see, the bending clips allow the sunlight to enter directly on the internodes space and the interior leafs structure is massivly and densly developing. The seedling occured at 7th February, so counting 2/3 weeks for seedling/plantula stage, plus 6 weeks so far on vegetative stage, my opinion is that with the next week hot weather forecast and the maintenance of the fertilizing schedule ( adding once a week a "cocktail" mixing mineral fert - Bionova Autoflowering Supermix + organic Biobizz Fish Mix and Rooting Agent ( Aminoacids; Humic Acids; Nitrogen supply; Selenium/Iron compound and micronutrients) and plus every 18 days Blackstrap Molasses "tea" dilution on 2 litres of water of two tea spoons of Blackstrap Molasses (around 8 ml/L). Each 3/4 days a plain OR watering scheme - no fertilizing compounds included, just plain water- and not much than 0.5L by grow. As you can see on photos, the growth goes solidly amazing with a full healthy plant. Some bending clips were apllied and it is clearly noticed that the interior leafs structure and internodes growth is developing massivly day by day. The weather was fantastic the last 10 days, changing from a very steady temperature amplitude from Max. 20 to 23ºC and during nights a min. never below 13ºC. Relative humidity around 75 to 85 % and changing each couple of days from showering rains to clear hot and bright sunny Mediterranean days. So Jah Jah God as always on command, greatly wise, protecting the growth and spreading Peace and Love for the world. Pause and be safe...

TommyBVRSA75 In the end, 11 weeks and the flowering has started. You can see the arrival of the petioles and the posthumous especially at the top of the plant. I have started the development of the mineral + organic combo (BioNova PK 13/14 + reduced dose of NKP from the Autoflowering Supermix + addition of the organic compound Biobizz Fish Mix + Top Max + Bio Bloom + a short teaspoon with less than 0.5 grams of Grotek CarboMax K²0 + minimum amount of PK 13 14). Give it at the beginning of flowering, food to the soil for integration in the roots of phosphorus and potassium. The microelements in the black molasses to meet the need for trace elements - molybdenum, zinc, chlorites, simple sugars, and a micro amount of sulfur cycle. That is, prepare it at the beginning so that the roots work normally and integrate the necessary elements for an incredible flowering. It has an amazing smell, but I’m still in doubt about the strain I’m developing. I’m still not sure if the two seeds that sprouted in the first week were: either the Dark Purple or the Northern Lights Blue, both from Delicious Seeds. I see that I will have growth until mid-June, so we will have outdoor growth for 18 weeks - a fast feminized but not automatic. It’s about 50 cm tall and is a real Christmas tree. It’s bursting with health and continues to be one of the most beautiful grows I’ve had in my life. With more calculations, we will reach about 80 cm in height, super compact, and it’s already hinted by the petioles and the position of the pistils that it will create an enormous central bud and will be full of resin and terpenes. I have hardly had any pests, as root and leaf treatment with neem oil has been done as a preventive treatment and no mold, despite days of continuous rain. TommyBVRSA75 Because of the nosy neighbors, we have had some big changes. I bought a store and a PhytoLed Nx2 200 Full Spectrum LED system, and with flowering starting, I had to make the most drastic decision in recent years. To switch from Outdoor to Indoor. From the Outdoor, we brought problems we didn’t foresee - the existence of worms in the grow that attacked me in the first days of indoor growing. I detected almost all of them, but the guide leaves were eaten, and I managed to eliminate a cocoon in time that didn’t turn into a butterfly, lucky me. I also detected some spider mites and a few white flies at an early stage...uffff...What a mess I had...But I’ve been fighting a limitless war with neem oil and checking two to three times a day, leaf by leaf, and things have normalized a bit...but the war continues. Also, given the time it’s taken, I’m clear that it’s not the Dark Purple Auto strain but rather a Northern Light Blue Feminized, meaning it’s a photoperiod strain that will take more than 25 weeks to be ready for harvest. So this grow has turned into a practical growing class and an experiment that will be very valuable for the future. TommyBVRSA75 A grow with a lot of changing conditions that are giving it very unusual times. This grow started with the planting of two seeds, one automatic and the other photoperiod. At first, I thought—and this was because one of the seeds didn't sprout—that the successful one would be the automatic (a Dark Purple from Delicious Seeds, and even the diary started off being called Dark Purple). But what I recorded over the weeks is that the successful seed was the photoperiod Northern Lights Blue, and as such, the fertilizer plan suitable for an automatic was not the most appropriate. However, the genetics of the strain, the climate conditions, and the care with the correct pH led to the grow developing almost perfectly. At 11 weeks, due to finding out that one of the neighbors in the new apartment I moved into almost two months ago was from the police (what a neighbor, and what luck I had that they didn't see the grow which I had outdoor as I always have and practiced in my grows), my journey into the indoor world began. I bought a Secret Garden HS 800 tent - 80x80x180, direct extractor, fan, and a Full Spectrum LED PhytoLite Resina NX2 200, perfect for the conditions I have. I realized when asking many fellow growers that I would have a lot with this grow and why?!? 1- Changing the grow from outdoor to indoor (usually it's the other way around) and already showing signs at 12 weeks of the start of flowering. I mean, what stress for the poor thing with these changes, especially the "law of photoperiods," which would have to do vegetative outdoors until mid-July, and only then start flowering, which would give us time until September for harvest. Additionally, the evidence that the sealed conditions of indoor contributed to the fact that in the first week of indoor, what came "encapsulated" from the outside—a few thrips, a few whiteflies, or a few worms—came from the pepper plants I have in my interior patio, with almost 25 pots of different capsicum grows, which have very specific resistances... so those three to four "pests" in control that didn't have that severity outdoors transferred to this cannabis grow, and I had it almost out of control for about 10 days. If it weren't for a strong and quick action combining foliar spraying and neem oil watering every two days, and applying it three times in 12 days, that is, every 4 days, my "extreme" solution in cases of pest explosions, which is a "brew" that I apply both in watering and on the leaves (foliar spraying) of the following "combat" compound: for one liter of water (one part in ten of infusion of a "mash" of white nettles - only the leaves of nettles are crushed, and be very careful not to put flowers or stems as nettles have an alkaloid compound that is very toxic to the leaves of our grows; plus another part in ten of diluted potassium soap (grandma's blue soap, the one that's been around forever) and with a tablespoon of olive oil and 5 ml of 72-degree ethyl alcohol + 3 ml of white vinegar (acetic acid). It is applied at night and without lights, left to act for more than an hour, and then we spray with clean OR water to remove the "brew" from the leaves, as if the leaves with the "brew" on them catch sunlight or even LED, they can easily burn. But with the combination of neem oil and this special "brew," I controlled the pests completely and very quickly. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: The infusion made from boiling the nettle mash in water—half a kilo of chopped nettle leaves is put in a pot with 2 liters of non-tap water. When the water is boiling, it should be boiled for 10 to 15 minutes—after cooling, it can be stored in a preferably covered bottle to keep the infusion in a place without light and at a cool temperature. The "brew" can last 6 months, and we only discard it when it foams, which means it has fermented, and fermented it becomes toxic and must be thrown away. This "nettle tea" is used in a ratio of one part to nine parts of non-tap water, and we apply it to leaves and as watering during the vegetative phase every 15 days. The compound is rich in nitrogen and is very good not only as a natural pesticide but especially as a nitrogen source when you have a deficiency of this "essential food" for the growth of our grows. 2- With the change to indoor and the LED light cycle to 18/6, flowering started within a week, but over the first three weeks, I recorded that the formation of pistils and bud structure was happening at a very slow and uneven pace, meaning the base flowers were faster and had more pistils, while the crown of the plant was very spaced out, a problem that still persists, especially due to the dense structure of leaves in the crown and the insufficient penetration of the LED lights to that part of the plant where the central cola should start to form, and I hope that it happens as quickly as possible. 3- Another problem... at the seed and vegetative stage, I have a Russian Auto strain from 42 Fast Buds, which is now 5 weeks old and will grow very quickly, as from what I see here in the grow diaries, they typically take around 11 weeks from seed to harvest. Therefore, at this moment, I took the photoperiodic one out of the tent (and left the Russian inside maintaining the 18/6 light cycle—completely closing the tent so that there is no "light pollution" to the photoperiodic one that is in the dark in that same room where I do my grows) and I put it outside the tent completely in the dark for 12 hours and then it will take another 12 hours in the LED light tent, alongside the automatic. I will give the Russian automatic in the same tent a "normal" cycle of 18/6 hours until the end, and here is a very important lesson, although for me it was due to a regrettable mistake and my confusion about the seed that finally germinated, and thus, empirically, a "new golden rule"... never do different grows of automatics and photoperiods, not only because of the development times but also due to relative size issues. Photoperiods, due to their generally larger size, tend to require space that even with LST, apical pruning, or Scrog, with an 80x80 tent, makes it unfeasible to grow more than one photoperiod without taking away space or influencing the others. So, three medium-sized automatics at most or one photoperiod alone, but not both types in a tent like this and a LED set like the one I have. 4- Experiments yes, because life is experiments and attempts; successes and failures. What I'm trying now is to force flowering to a 12/12 cycle, combining a mineral and organic fertilizer plan, adding carbohydrates and sugars - Grotek Carbo Max - and trying to get something out of something where the probability of a minimally acceptable harvest, both in quality and quantity, has become very uphill, and that's because the grow, for example, in the guide leaves already shows yellow spots, meaning the cycle is ending, and the need for quick and compact flowering is happening at a slower pace than that of the end of the plant. 6- If a decent harvest comes out of this grow, and I set an optimistic ceiling of 100 grams with complete flowering in the next 4 to 5 weeks, it will be a miracle from God Jah, because my skills and knowledge have allowed me to rectify a grow that has been a true madness of changes. No grow should go through what happened with this one, and yes, we must have the humility to recognize mistakes and learn lessons from each grow. ...From outdoor to indoor forcedly, from my belief of having an automatic to the confirmation that what it was, is a photoperiod; from 'flowering' it against the current of its natural cycle; from reversing concepts in nutrition and light and "making changes to the equipment while the game is on," if you allow me the "football" metaphor. 7 and last - With everything that has happened, it is a marvel to see with the eyes of a "botanist," the adaptability of Cannabis to successive evaluation errors during the growth moments of these wonderful and incredible plants. How, with judgment errors about the type of plant regarding the light cycle, how nutrition errors and the stress of changes have not brought it down, and how it continues its evolution, even knowing that in the end, the grow "will judge me" for mistakes made, but I also know that it will reward me for everything I have been doing to gather as much information as possible to bring it forward. While what happened, at no time did I "torture" it with excesses or deficiencies of nutrients or water, but it will be incredible to record what continues to be the grow of this Northern Lights Blue Photoperiod, and once again the genetics of Delicious Seeds has revealed itself to be of "world-class" quality, even though with this grow I have seen how in almost none of the more than 20 that I have done in recent times—8 wonderful outdoor seasons—this grow holds the "record" for incomplete leaf formation—many triploid or pentaploid leaves, but very few normal leaves, that is, heptaploid, which may have happened due to that change to an "unknown territory" that has been moving a photoperiod from outdoor to indoor (what usually happens is just the opposite, that is, moving from indoor to outdoor, and I had read a lot about that, but about the phenotypic effects of a cycle break of a photoperiod that we have moved from outdoor to indoor, that has been almost impossible to read anywhere, and especially the effects of the limitation of Full Spectrum LEDs, UFO type - the "purple" lights (like my PhytoLite RESINA NX2 200 set), which lacks a bit of "push" from the dark red spectrum—for faster flowering—or that, for example, in vegetative they usually leave the grows with a 'flattened' appearance in the first month, meaning very long leaves and very short internodal spacing, which then starts to show the "correction," and now for my grow space of 80x80, besides excellent growth and plants with incredible color and health, the electricity bill has hardly increased, meaning I almost pay more for the fans than for these LEDs that have me very satisfied and that I got very "cheap" from an online seller, where on promotion I managed to buy it for 170 euros, when about six months ago this set was almost 100 euros more expensive—around 250 to 280 euros—and I love the performance, both in the temperature of the grow tent—never exceeding 27 degrees—the automatic fan system of the LED set starts and turns on whenever the interior exceeds around 27ºC, and with almost always a relative humidity of around 60 to 70%—as well as the optimal penetration of the LED set in areas between 60x60 to 80x80. TommyBVRSA75 Following up on so many of the problems this grow has had... switching from outdoor to indoor, changing the light cycle from 18/6 to 12/12, adjusting nutrition since I had it set to automatic and it was actually a photoperiod from the beginning. It’s flowering but very sparse and has had leaf burn from a soap spray I applied for some pests that came up when I switched from outdoor to indoor. I still don't know for sure what will come out of this grow and I'm just continuing with what I've been giving it: lights 12/12; adjusting nutrition with Biobizz organic mix, some mineral PK 13 14, and a little bit of Carbo Max Grotek, and I watered last week with Delta 9 Canabiogen as a flowering inducer at full strength. I'm not sure, but in my very modest opinion, there will hardly be any buds and what there will be is sparse flowering and not compact... meaning a disastrous consequence of all the changes and stress this grow has suffered. Just out of respect for the plants and because I've seen incredible recoveries in grows that were thought to be lost, I won't throw it in the trash and I won't turn it into compost. In the last two weeks, and in the photo, you can see the flowering at the lowest and peripheral levels of the grow, they are starting to produce pistils and become "flowers," so I might still be able to get half a dozen buds and that’s saying we’re at 17 weeks of growth... meaning we've already surpassed 100 days - outdoor germination in the first week of February, and I'm trying to figure out how many more weeks we’ll have until the end of this grow. I'm curious, not only about the quantity I can get from this grow, but the quality... what do you think will come out of a grow like this??? Right now, I have all the doubts and almost nothing certain... May God Jah, in His supreme wisdom, shed light on this grow and above all, may I learn something from the mistakes made... TommyBVRSA75 Slowly but steady the crazy Lady goes forward and the pistils have started to bloom clearly. Big problem due to bushiness the Led set isn't unable to supply light to One of the parts of the growth and on that side the pistils aren't more than a couple and the guide leafs turn yellowish. Last week most of the guide leafs were defoliated, only by pushing a bit and that defoliation was clearly a natural process of the plant. So...no alarm and no surprises and as i always triste my photoperiodic hás been abble to get on tracks even with the massive problems that we pass trought along the crazy changes occured since February. I am almost certain that we will get a quality yeld (not quantity, unfortunately). This growth is still pass through a 12/12 cycle and i almost cut all the N supply and by miracle the part of the growth that is iluminanted by the Led area has plain leafs, a beautiful short green leafs that each day get covered by pistils. My opinion is that i will have a crop faster on its Russian Auto growth tent sister, than on this epic photoperiodic growth. As you can see on photos, not everything is lost and only three weeks ago i barely don't throw it to the compostage bin, but my effort had been rewarded and as always the main lesson on my growth carrier is that cannabis plants are trully Wonders of Nature with limitless capacity to renew themselves even when everything seems lost. One day i told to a friend that my "changeling Lady"(as i call get) at the end will give me the best smoke of the season and i bet on it all my money. TommyBVRSA75 How many changes can a grow support combining evaluation errors between the belief that a automatic was really a photoperiodic...between changes from houses with almost no direct sun... From changing from Outdoor to Indoor...to adapt fertilizer schedule to outdoor automatic strains to indoor photoperiodic ones...to change on the move from sunlight to a Full Spectrum 200W LED...neverless, it survived, after 28 weeks, no more that 5 buds and Jah God on command on its infinite wisedom.
