*****Week 15 growth – March 13 to 19, 2021 – Week 6 flower ******
Feeding has ended this week and we are in flush mode now. The girls have just started to slow down their drinking and pistols are changing colour, buds are swelling, they are getting ready to finish. Added the UV and IR light bars in this week. Started the week with just one bar and then both in place by end of week. Each bar has 10 x 730nm, 10 x 395nm, 6 x 660nm pulling 30 watts each. Trichome enhancers!!
Working with the new light this run I have certainly pushed them with more light intensity than they should have received, broke 1100 PAR for a bit. This has also started to cause some foxtails to begin rather than staying compact and swelling the buds. Know for next time……always changes to make 😊

- Another feed day today. Last week of feed so pushing them a little more. No Grow added! Last couple of feeds with CalMag as well, seeing some magnesium issues so giving last dose.

- Left over plus Rezin @ 2ml, Overdrive @ 2ml (its hard to let go of your routines…I have been using Overdrive for so long……it feels wrong to not be using it this run….snuck in a couple ml😊)

- Light power pushed back up to 525 watts……..keeping the intensity up to hit the lower bud sites….will see what happens to the uppers.
Mar 18/21, Day 41
- Starting flush but not hitting the pots with 12 gallons of water each type of flush! Will just drop the ppm down to nothing and use RO water……planning on having close to 3 weeks to flush….second guessing that I really have that long though so may actually end up adding a flushing agent to the girls…..decide in the next 4 days so can leave plain water time if I do.
- Watering with Enzymes @ 2ml…….clean up the roots and help them get more of the ppm out of the media.
- 100ppm and 5.9pH……..missed the pH but not adding both up and down, ran with this.

- Dry out day today. Will be letting the pots get dryer now before adding more moisture.
- Leaving them for today though. Give flushing agent in next 2 days if going to.
- Work down the light intensity more in next couple of days as well.
- UV lights going now for 3 hours per day on both fixtures at the middle of the light schedule.

Start of week 3 of flowering. Bud site development over the last week was impressive! This girl is starting to smell and is already sticky to the touch. Hopefully this girl will stretch a bit more this week.

This will be the last week i will Feed. I m keeping TDS at 400PPM and PH at 5.8. This week I took out the Silica Blast, Great White and also stoped the CO2.
Also I lowered the water temp to 66 degrees.
Lights on temp is between 75 and 80 degrees, lights off between 65 and 72.
I’m trying to keep humidity as low as possible around 45%
week 10 will be flush week.

Day 43 - Starting week 7 and gave her the first feed of the week. She’s still stretching but she’s starting to fill in quite a bit too. Starting to have a pineappley scent to her as well.
Day 44 - For the most part, all looks pretty good. I did spot a couple leaves that look like there may be some sort of deficiency but trying to research and figure it out. It’s only on a couple leaves so not really spreading. Checked for any sort of bugs and nothing. Hopefully I can get it figured out and turned around.
Day 45 - Gave her a full feeding of straight pH’d water and upped the cal-mag a little to see if maybe I have the start of a magnesium deficiency. Got advice from someone on a different site so we’ll see if this is corrected. She’s really starting to fill in more and more each day. Not a very strong smell coming from her right now but my fingers smell amazing, pineapple/citrus after doing some leaf tucking and I love it. Just for shits and giggles, I did a test of the runoff and measuring out at 6.7, just like what’s going into her so thinking that’s a good thing. Looking forward to the next and final few weeks.
Day 46 - All looking good I think! Upped the cal-mag and bit and noticed one more leaf that was off. Everything else is looking green and healthy and the buds seem to be filling in and starting to fatten up nicely.
Day 47 - Gave her the last feeding of the week and she starting to really fill in and fatten up. Starting to get pretty frosty and smelling wonderful!
Day 49 - Good lord she’s starting to really smell amazing, tropical citrus. Can not wait to chop but still got some time. Will start the week 8 feeding schedule tomorrow, letting her really dry out.

It was insanely hot again this week. The plants were drinking pretty much daily and they needed it.
Finally got a break in the weather with some rain this weekend. Plants are thriving and super healthy.

#Crop King Seeds
Planting 3 Seeds Using 2 Different Techniques to germinate the Seeds
- The First 2 Seeds were germinated (Jul 2nd) using the water / paper towel technique
* The seeds were dropped in a half glass of bottled water (It stayed afloat) and kept in a closed dark area.
* After 12 Hours the 2 seeds were pushed down to reach the bottom of the glass using my finger.
* After 24 hours the 2 seeds were transferred / Now using the paper towel method to complete the germination
- The last seed was germinated (Jul 3) using just the paper towel method
* This method took longer to break the seed surface.
On Jul 6 Decided to transfer all 3 seedlings into the Aerogarden.
* Seed G1 had about 5cm roots. Some flowers already sprouting
* Seed G2 had about 3 cm roots. Still had seed top.
* Seed G3 had only just cracked . No length

Another week, another water change! Again, nothing really too exciting going on this week. Pushing nutrients high on these ladies, added two trellis nets and did some tucking. No defoliation yet, really just letting the plants do their own thing. Big stripping and lollipopping coming next week!

It’s now time to start flower. They are looking amazing and I’m going to go ahead and throw his crocs in there. I have one tent that I have not put in flower yet just for the main fact that one of my seats became a auto flower so I’m letting them run more time to let that auto flower finish and see what that becomes

We're at the start of the fourth week of flower, and today was a busy day.
First, I had to remove the old lights before swapping in the light from my auto tent. All while trying to avoid trashing the plants in the way too full tent. Not an easy task.
The entire mission, with changing the light in the auto tent as well, took a couple of hours. I wish I could keep the Greenception lights in the tent as they're high-quality lights, but the Kingbrite has a much lower profile and thus takes up much less space. Space that I desperately need considering how insanely much these girls stretched.
One of the tops on the second girl has unfortunately already been bunt by being too close to the light, and I'm sure I will run into light bleaching and probably foxtailing as the grow progress, but I hope I will be able to pull it off with the Kingbrite light.
I also added some wire support to the branches that I super-cropped, as they looked somewhat sad after all the abuse to the canopy while swapping the lights.

It looks like the girls have FINALLY stopped stretching. Phew!
Yesterday, I gave each girl 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.2 with humic acid and EM-1.
Today, the green lacewing larvae (Chrysoperla Carnea) arrived, and I dispersed them in the tent to deal with the thrips.

All is well in the tent, but now when the thrips are (hopefully) under control, it's time to address the VPD. It has gotten seriously out of wack due to dropping temps, plus I increased the humidity to make the environment more inhospitable for the thrips.
The temps were low due to the light change as the new one is running a lot cooler, but the temps have also dropped outside.
The heating in the lungroom has been off until now, so I turned that on and lowered the humidity threshold on my exhaust fan.
Finally, I put my small humidifier in the tent, generating extra heat and decreasing the humidity.
So far, the VPD has increased from a terrible 0.4-0.5 to an acceptable 0.9, and I'm hoping it will increase further as the ambient RH drops as we move into winter.

We're at the end of the fourth week of flower, and all is well in the tent.
The VPD has gone up to 1.0, which is a nice improvement to what it was only a couple of days ago.
I haven't scouted yet for thrips, but I will give the lacewings a couple of days to do their thing and then look closer.
However, I went to WAR against the spider mites we have in our ornamental plants in the apartment. I sprayed all plants with my homemade pesticide (capsaicin, alcohol, horticultural soap.) since I had it at hand. If that fails to knock the spider mites back, I'll bring out the neem oil instead.
The infestations aren't bad (yet), but it would suck to get mites into my tents, so better to be proactive.

Day 35-42 (June 4th - June 11th)
(Day 36) After it stops raining I’m going to amend some 2 gallon pots and get some of these clones planted.
Tuna recovered nicely from topping. The wind keeps impaling the slurricane leaves on the mini garden stakes.
If everything goes to plan, I will be transplanting all the slurricanes and tunas into 5 gallon fabric pots on the 21st. If they recover nicely I will flip them on the 30th.
(Day 37) It’s looking like I fucked these autos up pretty bad with the hot soil mix and low night temps. It was a dumb idea to sow directly into amended soil. I guess I’ll just leave them and see if they can push through the nutes.
The 4 meatbreaths I’m going to transplant into 3 gallon smart pots in a few days. They won’t be transplanted into their final containers until the 10th of next month.
(Day 39) God I wish this rain would fuck off soon. I want to get some of these clones transplanted but can’t in the rain. Forecast says sun for the next few days then more goddamn rain.
None of these plants are liking these low night temps. It’s currently 6 degrees (42f) which is guaranteed stunting. Zone 3 problems..... I honestly should have waited a little bit before planting the autos too.
(Day 41) Weather finally let up. Got all of these clones and meatbreath’s in their new homes and looking happy.
(Day 42) The gelato 33 autos are definitely doing better than all the rest for some reason. Grapefruit, Dr seedsman and exodus cheese haven’t even pushed their second set of leaves yet. Their containers are definitely too hot for seedlings but I will just leave them and hope they recover. Maybe the gelatos are just heavier feeders. Next year I’m going to establish the autos in coco before I put them outside. Or just start them outside in coco and transplant.

This is the only picture I have of week 4 but all the girls are looking good I'm starting to see signs of pre-flower I started to low stress train them during week 3 I'm pretty much doing nothing but watering the soil is full of the nutrients she need the light is that a good distance I currently have them at 500 par

Hey guys,
Recover went fine and this week she started growing constantly without any further problems encountered.
I decided to start LSTing her, even though I'm not totally sure is the best way to go, as the plant still sitting in a 3 liter pot....we will see...
I started to see some signs of her to be a girl, but I hope its not flowerung yet but just all the stress she received during her first cycle of life.
Will keep you posted and dont forget to pass by also to the other diary I'm taking right now!!

Yeah definitely was the right decision to move her into the tent! I was training every other day but I think growth is slowing down. Probably starting to put on some bud now.
Alright let's see how the buds gonna develop. Gonna keep you updated ;)
Also, I hope you don't mind my super cute rabbits. I'm trying my chances in the Pets&Pot Cup. Not a lot of experience but I love making pictures of my pets anyway, so why not give it a try.
But don't get too distracted by rabbits because the color of this beauty is just amazing! Wonderful dark green.
