Gelato is definitely a solid strain, u can't complain at all, the buds are really starting to fattening and they are really frosty..i can't wait i wanna taste them, but i have to be patient cause there are 4 weeks left and in 1 week i will feed her with the flower booster from RQS.

Blütewoche 6 Was soll ich sagen die Blüten werden immer fetter und fester. Ich bin eigentlich nur noch alle zwei Tage am gießen. Mehr ist nicht zu tun. Gut das die Gemüseanzucht wieder los geht sonst wäre es fast langweilig 😉 Die Pflanzen sehen nach wie vor sehr gesund aus, lediglich im unteren Bereich merkt man langsam das Nährstoffe verlagert werden. Trauermücken sind kaum noch zu sehen. Da haben die fressfeinde sich wohl gelohnt. Die Skywalker ist eine sehr einfach anzubauende Sorte. Bei mir haben sich meiner Meinung nach 4 unterschiedliche Phenos gezeigt. Lasst mir dazu aber gerne eure Meinung da! Liebe Grüße 🖖

Die Pflanzen entwickeln sich gut. Es wird die nächsten 10 Tage nachts sehr kalt, deshalb wurde heute eine heizmatte zur Sicherheit ins Zelt gehängt und auf 25 C gestellt. Die zwei Blumat pro Topf sind zu wenig, sie können den Wasserbedarf einer Pflanze nicht decken Halten den Boden aber trotzdem leicht feucht, wenn ich zwei Tage nicht gegossen habe.

She's starting to pre flower now. Doing fantastic! She is stretching hard and all those tiny side branches are shooting up like crazy. I hope this one will make it through September, because she would yield a crazy amount 😁

Week 3 no nuts only water and rain water.

Oh mama! We're getting close to chop day! Look at these top buds though, literally a morphed golf ball on top. Can't wait to taste that golf ball. 😁 The plant has been going great throughout the entire cycle, hopefully things finish as they've been going. No signs of deficiencies a little excess maybe so I've been laying off on the nutes a bit.. leaves are healthy green this will be the last week of nutes. Only water from now on.

So this is the Start of week 9, today is day 57 of flower. Strain is supposed to have 8-9 weeks of flower. Before I started I was thinking of 10 weeks of flower. Let’s see how the week is going. I took some trichome shots but they are not ready yet. I’m thinking of 2-3 weeks left. I will use Athena fade for the last 2 weeks. Maybe I will change to that in the next week. I keep my humidifier running so I have a constant 40-45% of humidity, max 50. Cheers.

Getting near the end. BB2 and GG2 showing mostly milky/ cloudy trichomes with some amber. These two showed the deficiencies and have been flushed on day 76. One more flush and they will be harvested first. BB1 and GG1 look to be about a week later.

The germinated seed was directly placed in the final 11-liter pot with BioBizz LightMix soil

Realized I was a week behind so I updated a few days early but same same lol she is looking and smelling great. when its calm out she definately has a very pleasurable stank to her within a few feet radius. Shes actually starting to get some nice little flowers on her 😋 mayb i'll get like 10-14 dried grams??? guess well see but whatever it is dont really matter, already stoked to try again next year but i'll be doing things a little differently and also i'll add a couple more now that i know autos solve the issues of outdoor growing in a very short summer season. will not be using fabric pots outdoors anymore being the main change.

Diesel Automatic is doing OK, growing slowly and still with the mosaic pattern on the leave. @James from RQS took a look and said: I would say that you might have a potassium deficiency on your plants. the deficiency might be caused by an excess of fertilizers and nutrients. Excess salt is especially common as it tends to build up in the growing medium. Nutrient lockout is a very common cause of most deficiencies. When the pH of the soil is too low, it makes the medium too acidic. This causes stress in the root zone and prevents the uptake of potassium. Lets see what happens. 👍

In general I'm very happy growing this strain. The germination rate was 100%, all 3 sprouted, even though one ended up dying after some weeks. My fault here, she grew upside down and when I moved her she didn't reacted well. The growing conditions were initially a little unstable as I couldn't find the right balance between temperature and RH, having the latter one constantly too low, making me buy an humidifier to keep the level higher. Well, too high in the lights off period, and when distracted could reach up to 99% RH, which isn't good. Again, lesson learned for the next grow. Maybe I've defoliated the plant a little too much and that might have also affected the crop a little. When it comes to feeding, didn't use so much plain water, the feeding were nutrient based all the time. Not sure if this had any negative effects in the plant. Was fun to train the plant and I could see actually some benefits in doing some LST in her. After all this, being able to finish with this amount of bud makes me generally happy and positive for the coming grows. Overall I think I made a few beginner mistakes that affected the plant growth and flower, but again, having no pests, plagues, or any diseases was already a very good accomplishment and I'm really looking forward to start the next grow, and enjoy the smoke from this little one. As it was the first diary ever, was very fun to do it, and helped a lot controlling crucial parts of the growth. Definitely will keep posting here my future grows. Flowering Day 66 Harvested today. I'm really happy with the run. Towards the end of the flowering phase, the plants didn't look 100% happy. I'll add more perlite and pumice next time, as I suspect the soil was a bit too moist for too long due to the Autopots. The whole plant will be dried in one piece. I'll dry one in DryFerm bags for testing purposes. Update to follow. Stay green!

FBA2502-week 1 of Veg This week has been wild. Once the roots made a foundation the upper growth has been explosive the last few days. Really cool to watch and see the daily growth. I introduce calmag and grow nutrients this week starting at a 1/4 strength. All in all they've responded well showing no burn what so ever. Happy Growing
