Well, I managed to do something that I really didn't expect :) the yield is small, just like the pot :) it was a wonderful trip ;) but from now on I will only grow it in big pots :) good luck to everyone :) I will add weight when it is ready :)

Week 6 has come and gone. It’s safe to say that this plant is done stretching. Quite a growth spurt from week 4 till now. Time to pack on the buds. Buds are really developing this week. Looking like they are already turning purple. Lots of frost starting in just the second week of flower which makes me very happy and excited to see what she can do in the coming weeks. This plant is sucking up the water now, I’m having to water 1.25 gallons in my 5 gallon fabric pot every 3 days. I’ve defoliated quite a bit but I think one more round will be needed this week. She has had ZERO signs of any nutrient issues thus far so I’m hitting her with 2.2EC on the next water. I’m very happy with the plant growth, although I could have tied down the two taller branches a little better. The crazy thing is they are the second branch on the plant so they started all the way at the bottom. Gotta love LST. It’s looking like I’ll have 10-12 main branches producing well.

Day 8 - very healthy sprout a. the roots are already into the pool, forming ladder roots b. I changed the DWC out, always from top watering you will get some gunk in there from the root riot/hydro rock dust, tends to build up on the roots, it never hurts anything, however it couldnt be good for the nutrient absorption. c. water source is mountain water, 130ppm from spring. d. TS1000 is at 100% intensity at 75cm away from the top, they love this day 9 - growing fast a. she is growing fast, and the roots are developing nicely b. keeping the ph 5.8-6 Day 10 - looking very nice a. this seedling is very healthy, strong Day 11 - growing fast a. this is a very fast plant, having to keep knocking the PH down Day 12 - growing very well a. had to move her to the corner of the tent to make way for my Afghan kush plant, it got too cold out in our barn for the Afghan kush b. the seedling is growing very well, she still gets a good amount of light Day 13 - growing well a. she appears to be growing fine despite her tent mate b. will be nice to move the Afghan out of here next week when it is supposed to get warmer Day 14 - nice environment a. the Afghan Kush and the Big Bud are friends now, lol b. all is growing well here c. video of our friendly environment

Week 11, & the End of 4 weeks of flowering (30 Days of 12/12) Welcome back to our regular scheduled programming.... Like I mentioned we are officially 30 days into our 12/12 lighting cycle. Now taking into consideration that this is one of the first runs of this particular strain the flower period is partially undetermined, I will be guessing based on Lineage of the parents, & following her closely towards the end to ensure my desired trichome ripeness. Katsu's HotCake's run's Approximately 8-9 Weeks & The Grape Ape run's slightly quicker at 7-8 Weeks You can certainly tell the difference between all 5 plants, I'm very glad I took cuts of everything ! as plants 2 & 3 are certainly the keepers of the bunch.. plant 2 showing some very cool fall colours already (emerson effect hitting strong asf) She is already starting to purple up & smells Very Sweet. My guess is this pheno leans more to the Grape Ape side. As far as plant 3 is concerned I can smell heavy Kush aromas emulating off her already, & based on her flowering structure I believe this pheno leans more Katsu Bubba. but we'll have to wait and see. A Minor amount of leaf plucking this week should be noted.. It will probably be the last time I mess with them, its time to start swelling up. It is my opinion that most of the stretch has been completed & i'm now looking at the final colas minus the couple weeks of filling out of course. As this is the end of four weeks of flower(12/12) Their food will be increased during the next feeding, thus far i've been impressed with the ease of this strain.. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I will say this I was weary of over-feeding but all of them seem to enjoy heavy feedings. Very variable weather, summer is at the end, temperature drops quickly, even 60 °F. I was out for 3 days, on my return I found the three girls who were starting to wither but they were promptly watered. No damage to report. The yellowing of the lower canopy has started. Acceptable weather forecast until 10 September. I bought 5 transparent PCV tarps to protect them extemporaneously from the rain. My beloved Gorilla rocks! Buds are forming and filling very well, super sticky and frosty. Strong citron/bubblegum scent. This sativa-like pheno is funtastic, she is not very leafy, leaves are narrow so the sun penetrate very well through the whole plant. It remains to be seen how the buds will fill up and if my girl can disprove the reputation for "quality buds but low yields" . Let's see. Expected harvest September 3rd week.

At Day 33 we started with defolation. They seem to be very healthy, although there are fungus gnats. The Ladies have no problem with it. You already can see the preflower in the last pictures. Next step will be to send them in the Flower Stage and turn up the lights

Way to start the week more photos to come. Flushed using sledge hammer this week stretch has come to a complete stop and budding is in full force. The smell oh how can I describe but a sweet berry funk. They have taken very well to the fox farm nutes that I’ve been giving. Definitely some differences in 2 of four, DD1 and DD2 much more weight and little to no purple except for main stem and veins on existing leaves compared to DD3 and the runt DD4 buds are not as dense but man are they flying this deep lavender and purple. The smell from this girls is so sweet . Bud structure is different on the DD I’m guessing the sativa vs indica genetics are showing which are dominating the plants either way there is a wonderfully sweet aroma from all the plants. 4/19 I feed them more nutrients in a small attempt to see if I can push the nutes slightly past recommended levels, to date no signs of burn or build up ever so slight clawing of the fans but nothing I’m concerned about plants looking good.

Ich habe nun normales Leitungswasser genommen damit der Ph Wert nicht so nach unten fährt und dieser stabil bleibt. Der EC Wert ist von 1 Tag von von 2.5 auf 6.0 gestiegen, die Pflanze hatte heute auf jeden Fall genug Nahrung.. Ph Wert fällt in wenigen Stunden um fast 1%. Hab das Wasser heute gleich getauscht. Wird auf jeden Fall ein guter Ertrag, jetzt kann nichts mehr schief gehen denn die Ernte wandert sofort in den Cannatrol Cool

we pass 6 weeks of flowers. buds are getting fulled and the smell is so so beautiful. Here on pics is day 36 of flowering. Breeder says. flowering time is 6-7 weeks, let see in 2 weeks On feeding menu is again Iguana Juice Bloom, I spend all Mother earth. it is awesome nutrients. will buy it again.

March 17, Day 76: As written I collected the last three plants. At the moment I got a partial of 224 grams from the first three plants and I think of doubling with the last three. Among the latter is the plant with the largest bud which obviously becomes my favorite. This time I managed to take photographs of the plants before cutting them. With these last three plants I got the most productive plant, the one with the largest bud and the one with the longest bud 😉 For a final report on this strain: The Gorilla by RQS is an excellent strain for anyone who loves a high THC content and I particularly recommend it to growers who pass for the first time from photoiperiods to autoflowering. You will grow very large and very productive plants very similar to photoperiodic ones. This strain branches out a lot and must be defoliated and de-branched. You can grow it well with the SCROG technique, but if like me you have no space problems you can also use the Sea Of Green technique. In conclusion I want to thank all the growers who have followed this my first diary to which I have a happy growth! First I have to say that I am very satisfied with the total harvest, from the last three plants I got 369 grams which added to the 224 of the previous harvest make a total of 593 grams. I started this diary with 8 Gorillas and 2 Cheese. 6 Gorillas completed their cycle in the same time frame, the 2 remaining gorillas showed a photoperiodic genetic predominance, one of them is in an advanced flowering phase while the last one after three months still shows only a few pistils. I'll probably kill her, and move on by putting new seeds in the soil. Unfortunately, where I live is illegal to grow marijuana, otherwise I would have simply moved outdoors, but I can't and must be ruthless. Regarding the two cheeses there is not much left at the end of their cycle and I started to give only water to one of the two plants. Good and happy growth to all! 😜
