Well post tropical storm Ophilia report. Made it through with only minor damage. Thank goodness! I had to laeve town for a wedding in NC over the weekend and realized i might not be able to get back in time to protect the girls. They did ok. Drinking a lot less water now that it has cooled down. From 4 gals/ day back to 2 gal / day! Ill update with some better pics later, happy growing all!

Week 7 for Strawberry Gorilla by fastbuds, Absolutely loving this plant atm cant believe how much shes bulked up flower wise putting in mind shes only been in flower for 3 weeks! Shes been giving out such a sweet strawberry like scent cannot wait for her to be done. Getting a little worried because of the weather we've been having 😪 just rain on rain.... whenever i can i put her under shelter but the humidity is very high because of it. She was fed only once this week with some FPJ, Regulator, Enzym+ & Topbooster by @aptus_portugal just to give it an extra boost!

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Strawberry 🥧 I feel like her milky trichomes were starting to turn a little amber on some of the more mature buds so I chopped her down.Indica dominant strain so I wanted to let her go as long as possible.Smells great I’ll update a smoke report after she dries and cures.I think I’m going to use the majority of this one for some Rick Simpson oil and see how she turns out :)

Another demanding week for these ladies but they have reached a milestone. Week 8, and my custom fit SCROG has been installed! ❤️ At Day 50 I separated my 7 gallon girls and my 5 gallon girl. Once done, I began the very easy process of adding my “floating” SCROG. I use ratchet straps, just like the ones that come with lights to secure the four corners of the screen to the top of my tent. This allows me to adjust the screen height as necessary when 1) first installing and 2) once the full stretch of flower has occurred, I can tweak it a bit to balance the canopy as best as possible. It’s not 100%, I still get some over achievers, but I find it useful as another option. I like to do a major defoliation before I set the ladies in. Typically till this time, I have done almost no defoliation, just LST and some HST techniques. I adjusted the ladies placement to allow growth out all sides of the screen, set the screen height and began tucking and bending. The defoliation and bending allows light to penetrate all those side shoots that would have amounted to nothing, and they become top shoots as they grow up and form an even canopy. I don’t like to weave, it can damage the new shoots and cause growth problems, but the goal is to get as even a coverage as you can while allowing for plant growth in all directions. Once complete, I will give the girls about a week to recover and grow those new shoots. I like to have about 80% coverage of the screen, before I change my light cycles to flower 12/12… and if they are healthy and strong. I’ll decide this weekend if it is time ❤️👊🇨🇦😎 Happy Gardening!

I really enjoyed growing this strain. I hope I can get my hands on it again and take what I've learned and apply it. I didnt have any herm's or anything of the sort. I think Ethos really makes some great genetics. This stuff gets me really good. If i had prevented stretching's, and trained a little bit, I probably could have gotten a half pound out of here. Regardless 5.5 ounces is respectable for a 2nd grow if you ask me. Curing turned out very well. My whole place stinks when I burp these jars. Im OBSESSED with this Rosin. Best smelling and best tasting dabs I've ever had so far. Hope you all enjoyed this diary. I really loved sharing how this strain came out. I hope it comes out even better for all of you guys! We'll see where the future takes me!

Not sure about the pin down technique, although I will carry on until flowering. It definitely requires more practice. Seems like the plant is willing to live, and the thing is I have only 3 months until my holiday, so there is no time to start over with an another grow. The genetics in this one isn't the best in my opinion, one stem grows really odd leaves. I will wait a bit more and if the strange shaped leaves are keeping growing, then I will have to cut off that branch.

Alles läuft sehr entspannt, kaum was zu tun, aber es ist einiges passiert🤩🤩. Die Buds werden fetter, der Geruch ist einfach himmlisch und die Farben sehen toll aus. Leider kann man die Farben nicht so gut erkennen auf den Bildern, aber es purplet ganz schön🤗😁 Die Sweet ZZ erholt sich von ihrer Calmag Blockade und die neuen Blätter zeigen keine Anzeichen mehr auf Mängel. Die Gorilla Zkittlez holt an Größe auf und ist jetzt etwa so groß wie die Sweet ZZ, aber mit deutlich weniger Nodien. Ich denke die Peyote Critical wird als erstes reif sein, sie wirkt am weitesten entwickelt und auch die Blütezeit ist die kürzeste von meinem Setup. Danach wahrscheinlich die Sweet ZZ und evtl. Die Green Gelato. Die Runtz und die Lemon Shining Silver Haze werden am längsten brauchen. Ne quatsch, die Gorilla Zkittlez wird am längsten brauchen da sie erst seid etwa 2 Wochen blüht. Overall I'm extremely pleased with the grow and yield I got from using the Autopot system. By far my biggest yield yet. The clones were happy with the growing conditions and new setup. Would recommend the Autopots to anyone wanting to try something new or doesn't have the time to hand water or be with their plants 24/7. Also collected some decent kief/pollen from the dried leaves which can be used for smoking, making of hash or dab. Still deciding what I'll do with it. Ok unexpected circumstances called for a harvest would have liked to leave her another 5-6 days but still amber trichomes 5% but we had a lot of foxtailing so there is new growth with not mature trichomes Can't wait to give her a test drive and I'll update the smoke review and dry bud weight when she's ready!! Thankfully the last few days were cooler so we also got some purple 💜 she's massive!!! So sticky and smells amaziiiiing 😍
