Hi fellow growers, for this first week of flowering, everything went smoothly. She took the defoliation from last week well and kept growing strong. She took 8cm during this first week of 12/12, nothing crazy but I hope she is gonna take more this coming week, so that she has pretty long main branches by the end of stretching. I'm glad the smaller branches that occupy the middle grew well and full up this empty space. I'm tucking daily the fan leaves from the main branches to allow a maximum light to reach the branches from the middle. Last week I was wondering if I had gone too strong on the defoliation and then I read about this schwazzing technique, when one defoliates even more, basically removing most of the leaves, this on the day of switching to 12/12 and then doing this same heavy defoliation 20 days later. So be prepared, in two weeks I'm gonna apply the recommended second heavy defoliation and we'll see how that goes together. 😁 Humidity is around 70% at the moment, it's on the high side but I'm not too worried about it. For the nutrients, I'm still religiously following the biobizz schedule and so far, so good. I started this week to log everyday some basic data about the plant, like height, temperatures and humidity. I guess it would be nice to have a little graph at the end to see the evolution of the plant or whatever one wants to do with the data. I think it's good practice too. -- Stereoscopic pictures -- You might have wonder what the hell are those two pictures where seemingly the same picture is put two times. They actually are stereoscopic pictures or 3d pictures. It's using the same principle as 3d for movies or virtual reality and it tricks your brain into seeing in 3d. Basically each picture is the view from each of our eyes. I made those pictures so it allows to see them in 3d without glasses. Follow along with this little tutorial (The picture "stereoscopy 2" is easier. I find it as well easier on a computer as smartphones have a smaller screen): - Having the pictures in front of you around 30-40cm (15-20cm on smartphones) from your eyes, start crossing your eyes slowly. - Both pictures are gonna move toward the middle. The idea is to make both pictures superpose each other in in the middle. - Start to focus on the superposition in the middle and if necessary, adjust the distance between your eyes and the screen. - Once it's in focus, you will instantly notice it and see my weed in crystal clear 3d! So we’ve come to a slow down on the stretch and they’ve started to work n creating flowers, I defoliated about 10-15% of the fan leaves and removed stems that had less vigor or was too under the canopy and wouldn’t of created any good flowers as these plants are a whopping near 50” so proud to be a loyal Martian! The lights are so powerful and provide the plants with the power of the sun ☀️

Recovering just fine from the crash! I have another of exactly the same seed, critical +2.0, in a pot next to it (but a 20L pot) and they are currently the same size/doing as well as each other. Because the can is quite long I add a small amount of water from the top and also dip the can into the water to feed from below. At the bottom of the can I made around 15 small holes across the base, and there are stones covering perhaps the bottom 1.5cm of the can to further promote drainage. No ferts yet!

Considering this the official first week of flower. Had light timer issues again smh, but got it fixed again. Plants doing great! Weakened led because the plant is growing right into it almost. Hoping she’s done stretching. Watered with week 7 Nutes @50%. Temp min 67 max 77 Fahrenheit Rh min 33% max 42% may need trellis to keep her from snapping when flowering. Still debating.

Hello growers day 56 in the garden with the crystal candy and red poison all is well and good the red poison is very nearly done I’m watching the trics I have a few amber heads still flushing trying to get as much out of them as possible but they will probably come down next week the crystal candy’s are starting to swell so probably couple more weeks for them but all in all very good and nearly there so until the harvest next week be safe and happy growing ✌️

Mimosa cake is my favourite strain. This was the biggest I ever grew and without any issues. Also the largest ever by weight, 1430g wet including stalk which should leave me with much over 200g on this 😍Cant wait to have her cured.

Day 42: Went on vacation for 3 weeks, asked a friend to take care of my plants and make pictures and videos. He gave them feedings, did some defoliation but it is hard from a distance to guide him how to train or to defoliate.

Day 77 - Look at this plant! Just look at it! The trichomes on her are simply amazing. I've never seen anything like it in my tent before. View the close up photos at high res and you can see the trichomes clearly. They're EVERYWHERE!!!! She is ridiculously sticky, and when you touch her the smell is pure grapefruit. Citrus but sour. 😍 I would love to do a lab test on this strain but geographically I cannot..... I'm estimating well over 20% THC....
