I SHIFT THEM OUTDOOR AT 2:00AM AND THEN GET THEM INDOORS AT AROUND 6:30PM UNDER CFL LIGHTS SO NO LIGHT TIME IS FROM 2:00AM TILL SUNRISE WILL KEEP THEM LIKE THIS THROUGH OUT THEIR VEGETATION. ATM I HAVE'NT ADDED ANY NUTRIENTS OR SOIL. BUT I WILL BE ADDING LIQUID NUTRIENTS NPK 40:20:20 FOR VEGETATION IN THE NEXT WEEK. Bienvenidos camaradas cultivadores, siete semanas de floración y las dos últimas con problemas de bloqueo de nutrientes que se ha reflejado en las hojas de las dos ramas principales, quemaduras en las hojas y marcas claras de deficiencia de Manganeso, el consumo de agua estaba en bajada desde hace dos semanas, y una vez más, mi falta de reflejos me ha impedido comenzar antes a tratar el problema. Ya sabía yo que esta cepa, con semejante nombre Psicopático me iba a dar problemas!! 🙄 Bien, es el momento de los fuertes!! 🤜🤛 ACTIVIDAD SEMANAL 💀 Día 84. Muevo la planta a mi carpa principal donde tengo como lámpara de dosel una magnífica MH TS1000, apoyada por otras luces que aportan espectros de luz más cercanos al rojo (2700k, 660nm, 2000k, 3000k, IR 730nm que enciendo 15 minutos cada hora.) Días 85, 86, 87, 88, 89. La planta no reacciona al último riego con agua de montaña y melaza, sigue perdiendo hojas completamente amarillas de la parte baja de la planta, en los dos últimos días, en la parte superior de las dos ramas principales han vuelto a aparecer manchas en las hojas más grandes, ahora también rizado de las puntas... muy feo!! Día 90. Acudo al cultivo dispuesto a intentar solucionar el bloqueo de nutrientes. 1º. Preparo una mezcla con agua de montaña y Ormus que aporta calcio y Magnesio y ayuda a la asimilación de nutrientes, corrijo el PH con vinagre blanco. PH: 7.0, EC: 0.55. 1000ml. Riego rápido con esta mezcla hasta conseguir un buen nivel de escorrentía, recojo 500ml con un EC: 3.1 y PH: 7.05. Preparo una mezcla de sólidos (Ca, Mg, P, Fe, Mn, Cu, K...) que añado al sustrato, para que traspasen sus nutrientes lentamente en los próximos días. 2º Preparo otra mezcla suave con Agua de montaña, melaza, 3% de mi Biol de Frutas y minerales con Microorganismos Eficientes -EM- (MMA, BAL, Vitaminas, Azúcares, Micro elementos, Húmicos...) y Ormus 1%. PH: 6.59, EC: 1.15. 1500ml. Vuelvo a regar rápido para arrastrar nutrientes del sustrato y al tiempo aportar en ese agua los nutrientes de la mezcla que potenciarán el trabajo y reproducción de la microbiología del sustrato. La escorrentía la uso para regar mis geranios!! Día 91. Se ha notado el tratamiento, la planta parece hinchada, ha recuperado en 24h la tersura, seguiré con unos riegos suaves hasta estar seguro de que el problema desaparece. Aunque me preocupa el impacto en la producción, pues justo estas semanas son cruciales para el crecimiento de las colas. Day 14 Veg: A great start to the week once they settled into their new pots. hopefully i havent stunted their progress. The mutant Banana Mash is now trying to normalise a little more with new growth. Still fairly twisted but on the mend. The other 3 are more typical of new plants with their growth . I have topped one and fimmed another with one being left natural at this point. They are on their 5th node mainly ( except mutant!) and I am hoping to open their frames right up to get light to all new growth equally. I don't think they will grow too tall by design and I don't want to limit their growth in any way so i will gently manage them as they grow. The Purple Monkey are doing brilliantly so far with plenty of vigorous growth among them. I am holding the 5th nodes down on two of them and have fimmed one. These are in bigger 60L pots so should use the space to its best I think. I also have 2 plants that came from the recent harvest. One of the ladies must have had a pollen sack hid away that managed to seed a few of the exotic girls amd visited some possible viable hybrids. 2 of these are now in the grow alongside. I will be watching them like a hawk and any sign of a testicle will result in a slaughtering of the LGBGTQ sympathiser instantly . lol We do male or female only unlike the human race !!. heehee ( bit of a political hot potato!). I gave them an actual megacrop feed today to boost the available elements for the speedy growth coming. The L.o.s is still active and providing enough nutrition but I am trying to avoid the drop once the stretch period gets busy and saps the available food from it. This seems to have been happening most crops since beginning using it to avoid the leaves losing their solent green colour too fast like starvation can cause. I also added a touch of calmag to counter the L.e.d leeching that often occurs in flowering. So there we have it Growmies. A good week with the beginning of l.s.t and some promising growth. Another issue that I have managed to resolve is the R.h. We are getting warm dry air now so the room is getting silly hot and very dry at around 40% . This is great for the flowering times but has been an issue for veg in the past. not wanting to invest in a humidifier that is costly and expensive to run , I had resulted to using towels in buckets to attempt to raise it this does work in a totally sealed tent , in my leaky d.i.y "tailored " one , this has been hard to maintain. The solution came in the form of a vicks vaporiser that I bought from fleabay. It works perfectly to bring up the rh to around 70% on its lowest setting. The tank is enough to hold a days supply of water and shuts off with the lights. simple but effective fix to a common problem we face indoors. Be safe and well. Until next time. Weeks 1-5 in flower, starting 8/3

#seedsman420growoff and #SeedsmanSeeds 📆 Week 5, 25-31 May 2024 25-27 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 28 May - Defoliated plant. 29 May - Placed scrog ring on trellis system, bent top of plant over 90 degrees, adjusted and spread branches (see pictures). 30-31 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I’m very pleased with the way this plant has responded to the nutrient schedule so far. Now it is time to see how she will do with training. I like using a version of the scrog method most because it gives me the greatest space for bud growth overall. My experiences have taught me that under these lights there is about 15-18” worth of quality vertical bud potential. Anything below that line is only draining on the plant, and not receiving adeqate DLI. So I dont need to focus on a tall plant - rather a wide one. Now that she is under a scrog the DLI has a significant canopy increase. What I’ve done with this plant is cut all side shoots off the main branches up to the scrog. She will grow for another week to allow all for growth to develop just above that and then be flipped to flower. I’ve never grown this plant before, but assumeing she can double her size during pre-flower, I’ll have plenty of room in my grow tent. The Trellis System: is made with 1/2” (12.7mm) white, SharkBite PEX, 1/2” pex clamps, small screws/nuts #6-32 x 3/8 in (to hold clamps opposite each other, this is what holds the structure together, side bars, rings, scrog), 1/2” pex straight coupling connectors (to connect rings, and extensions), nylon tape and nylon cord. The frame design is independant from the bucket and can be put on anytime before or after the start of the grow. It simply snaps together (nothing needs to be crimpted), the rings stay in tact with coupling and tape, the netting is strung once for the most part, I prefere 2” squares, and held in place by clamps. The size of the rings depends on the size of your pot, the bottom and top ring are measured seperately. The scrog ring is determined by the size of the tent or desired spread. It takes 5 side bars evenly spaced apart and snapped on the bottom ring 1st to hold the frame sturdy in place, their length should start flat from the bottom to about 8” above the top of the bucket. Place the pot into the bottom ring with 5 side bars already attached, lift up the bars, then put on and attach the top ring, this prevents it from moving. Both are then placed on a 12” Bonsai turn table for easy access and observation of the plant. The final scrog is placed on when the desired height is close to being achieved, then maneuvered down over the plant. A simple design that allows you to easily adjust the netting (place extenders on side bars faceing in opposite direction for additional height) and opens many other possabilities for training. Hi Growmies, She has been taking very well to the plant success Orca that I have been feeding her for the last 7 days. Root development just exploded. Since these results are quite impressive I will definitely include such a product in my feeding plans. She doesn’t really want to stretch properly, even with an elevated and dimmed light. So I decided to flip her yesterday and am expecting at least 15-20 cm stretch. The Rezin I started feeding has already shown it’s effect as well, with small trichomes starting to appear on the fan leaves already, long before pre-flower has even started. Day 64 - Beginning of the Final Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, my grow friends! We’re entering the last flowering week, and it looks like I’ll be harvesting the plant around Friday, which will be roughly Day 68. 💭 Harvest Decision: It’s a tough decision because while the buds are still growing, the trichomes in the middle and lower parts of the plant are already about 80% milky and 10% amber. I’ll keep an eye on things and plan to check the trichomes again on Day 65, two days before harvest, to make a final decision. 🌿 Trichome Considerations: I have a feeling that even after cutting the plant and hanging it upside down to dry, some nutrients might still move into the buds, potentially causing them to swell a bit more. This is something I’m curious to see. 💧 Humidity, Water, and Temperature: As I mentioned in my last update, I flushed the plant yesterday, just before the start of the final week, with 4 liters of water. This should help flush out any remaining nutrients, and I likely won’t need to water again before harvest since the pots are thoroughly soaked. The humidity and temperature are holding steady between 52-58% and 20-24°C, which I find ideal. I’ve got my exhaust system and fan running continuously to ensure no mold develops. 📸 Final Updates: I’ll check in again with an update just before harvest to let you know how things are looking. Hey guys:) Easy week again, I just watered them, took out the leaves that fell of and killed some bugs. The bottom leaves fall of on their own now, buds start to really fatten up. It looks like the wasabi is done very soon, like a week or 2 max and the sangrias need like 3 more weeks at least.. Looking forward to the next weeks:) Just watching the buds becoming bigger by the day is really satisfying now:)
