Okay, so I didn’t think this seed would actually terminate as it was a joke. I didn’t use the cup of water and seed soak technique. I just planted it directly into some dollar tree soil I got for my kitchen window garden. So because the soil was so cheap, I didn’t even expect the seed to sprout. So I figured I’m going to grow it and see what I produce. I’m not sure if the picture I chose uploaded, but the other plants in the picture are bell pepper plants.

As the Ganja Farmer Seed's TKO is ripening and getting closer to harvest, I'm continuing to lower ppm levels while managing bucket water levels and ph. We're exactly at day 56 of flower (5/5/23) on Cinco de Mayo. The TKO reflects a flowering time of 60-65 days, so no more nutrients at this point. I'll continue to monitor Trichomes through next week (i.e., week 9 of flower). Once I see more amber (approximately 20-25%), I will begin a 2-3 day flush with straight RO water. At that point, she is ready to come down. The last bucket change end of week 7 strictly following GH's recommended dosage. That bucket change out brought an end to the ph swings she was beginning to experience. After the change out, the balance between water consumption, nutrient uptake, and ph is spot on. Specifically, while plant is up taking water, ph and ppm have maintained stability. She's looking and smelling incredible. There is a learning curve with DWC - no lie - but I've enjoyed the experience. She is an aggressive grower and challenging for maintenance. All in all, great genetics. Week 4. I defoliated 2-4 leaf's all week, unlike like last week I did 10 fan leafs per plant. Lst training is going quite well...because I'm seeing more vertical growth and the center branches had no problem pushing up after defoliating.

June 7: This plant is growing fast. Lots of foliage building up inside the centre of the manifold so I cleared that out a bit. Adding more bamboo cross pieces to further open it up. Check out coyowolves howling at dusk in video. June 10: four inches of vertical growth in three days. 👍

All the plants are still doing good really starting to stack on buds the OG and bubblegum really looking nice stretching out and filling in the bud. The jacks were a little behind in flowering but really taking off now I had to cut off like a Walmart sack full leaves the other day they are really bushy. All the buds and leaves are starting to load up with crystals and sugar and the smell of the tent is awesome I’m starting to really get excited. Cut back on the Cal mag and the grow big this week to lower the nitrogen I had a little bit of a surplus of my soil samples and they were just getting to Bushy in general so I figured it wouldn’t hurt. AlienZ Automatic - Greenhouse Seed Co. Day 32 - watered with 1L of RO tap water, mixed with the defined nutrients and pH'd to 6.3. I've seen a few signs to indicate that she is about to start her flower cycle, but she's still in veg for now. I've removed her most top two fan leaves to allow the lower nodes to get more light, but other than that, I'm just letting her do her thing 💪🏻 from next week she will be in flower, so I will have to start increasing some of her nutrients and water volume to about 2 liters! Day 35 - watered with 1L with nutrients l, pH'd to 6.3. She looks like she's about to start her first phase of bloom, so I've just quickly topped her and removed a few nodes to encourage an even canopy when she starts to stretch. I've also removed a couple of inward facing fan leaves to help with airflow - so she should stretch nicely 👌🏻

Pretty happy with the grow and the harvest, the drying went well also! Each grow highlights changes for the next and this has been no different! I'll be making more training adjustments in the next runs to try and refine the vertical scrog and get to the point where it's a wall 1 bud thick! I know it will get there in the end it's just like relearning how to do a horizontal scrog! I just need to predict the way the plant will respond when the light is from the sides! Bravery and brutality during pruning I think is the key! 😂✌️💚

***** Week 10 growth - February 13 to 19, 2021 - Week 2 Flower ***** Mandarin Mimosa is certainly growing beautifully!!! MM1 has been strong and a taller grower from the start. MM2 however has taken off in stretch.......she is also being grown in a 3gal pot so she will be slightly smaller than MM1. These are 1:1 girls but I am really looking forward to smoking this strain😍👍 The terps should start coming out more over the next couple of weeks, Terpinator being added now as well to assist with aromas. Tips up on these girls almost all day long, they are the happiest in the tent this week😂😂 2nd SCROG layer in now....finally😞 Lots of work to do in cleaning up the lower leaves next week. Will do larger leaf strip and lolipoping when they start focusing more on bud development. Light is at 24” only pulling 310 watt, and the meter at the tops of the girls is roughly 28,500LUX. It is feeling like it’s a little strong for them but it’s close......the curling leaves is slowly increasing on the tops. By the end of the week we are at 400watts and reading 38,500LUX, this should be roughly 980 umol/s/m2.......over 900 and less than 1,000.......should be good for going into week 3. Nutrients switched over to flower schedule and following week 2.....but so-called back a couple of items. Adding some other items beyond IPP line so backing off some of the ppm to compensate. Still only one “feeding” per week. Early flower so hitting the microbes a little harder this week and next and then slowly start backing off. I like Remo’s Natures Candy for sweetener because it has humic, sweetener and old school molasses, amongst other things to feed the microbes as they are in coco. Bud Fusion being used now for pk boost.........no more “red kool-aid”😂 Still adding Rezin from Green Planet becuase it seems to boost my trichome quantity.....Terpinator likely this week as well......increase some of the sulfer to increase aromas. Little more detail....... Feb 13/21 - Day 8 - 3.5L watering with CalMag @ 1ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml, Resin @ 1.5ml Feb 14/21 - Day 9 - 2nd SCROG added today.....finally. Plucked a bunch more leaves in the process - watering with microbes only today. Recharge has some molasses in it so just adding that. - 4L water for these girls with Recharge @ 1/2 tsp/gal - 320ppm and 6.0pH Feb 15/21 - Day 10 - today is big feed day....its been 7 days. - 3L each girl with all the IPP line as listed plus silica @ 1ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml. (Bud Fusion was 0.2gr/L) - 1325ppm and 6.0pH - Girls gave run off at 3L today so didn’t push past that. Feb 16/21 - Day 11 - some feed left from yesterday so added 6L of plain water to dilute it and watered into the girls tonight. - 3L full feed of nutrients for each girl - 800ppm and 6.1pH Feb 17/21 - Day 12 - 3L each girl with Terpinator and CalMag @ 2ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml, Recharge @ 1/2 tsp/gal - 775ppm and 6.1pH - increased light power to 350 watts. Now at 32,500LUX.......take it slow over the next week and keep creeping up. Leaves have a bit of a taco shape coming out and looking fairly serrated at the edges.....pushing the light intensity on the tops👍 - leaf colour on the girls is very good......tips are not burnt either. Feb 18/21 - Day 13 -3L each girl of plain water today - added beneficial bacteria and enzymes @ 1.5ml - 330ppm and 5.9pH - was looking for a little lower pH as I have not been checking runoff. - have to do a leaf strip this weekend......start of week 3. - light power increased again, 400 watts now. Feb 19/21 - Day 14 - day out day.......they have not had one in a bit. - humidity was higher today as door to grow room closed today to assist clones with more humidity. So that takes us through two weeks of flower now. Not knowing these girls enough yet, I suspect feeding will stop at the end of week 6. That leaves four more weeks. I will treat the next two weeks like mid flower for nutes, and the following two weeks as late flower. Feed supplements accordingly. These two girls are very happy and looking like we should get some nice colas from MM1!! They are rocking ETS.......looking forward to seeing the bud swelling next couple of weeks💪👍👊

There isn’t a ton to report this week other than the two behind my garage are on their stretch, and the one in the garden is bulking up. It has been raining a lot here, I gave all two big dosages of cal/mag and tiger bloom. I figured most of the nutrients were washing through the soil. I haven’t noticed any nute burns, so I’ll likely keep feeding them once a week. I did some bud backbuilding on my garden plant about a week ago, because the other two didn’t look as developed, i snipped the tip of the buds on the other two about two days ago. I think overall I should have a pretty good yield this summer, I wish I had a bit more purple buds, but hey🤷‍♂️ Purple kush none the less. I’m signing out for the week, thanks for tuning in. Cheers.
