Here comes the first Preflower Update

So all my stuff arrived this week. Will be using fox farm ocean floor soil for this grow. I have blue dream going for this grow. My seeds are germinating and I don’t have pics of them from the paper towel and from when I first put them beneath to soil in the dixi cups. The soil I used was miracle grow bloom potting soil for my initial planting (now I know was probably not the best choice) but I actually noticed some great results to start with the grow. I’ll keep updating as I go and hope to get some great feed back and comments while I go along. Happy growing everyone.

A few of the zed blacks hermed..spreading pollen into the flower tent. Already seeing some seeds develop. It is what it is. I should have done a better job checking on them. I kept the Zed blacks that only had a couple flowers on the bottom but tossed anything that had flowers growing up the majority of the plant. Some of the most famous strains in the world were self pollinated so I don't have issues with a couple male flowers. They're just trying to improve their fitness as nature intended. The plants are doing very well. A few of the bottom leaves are dying which is normal...senecense! Sucking up those nutrients. I've been liquid feeding using the fish, seaweed, humate and recharge. I have saved the males and they are trying to reveg. Still popping out a few flowers which I'm cutting off. 1 rainbow belt. 1 zed black. 3 hash plants The hash plants are smelling incredible. Definitely a few keepers mixed in here. Maybe 3/7. Hopefully the quality of the flower backs it up. Zed blacks have 2/3 I'm interested in. One is very very low yield. Unless its a really high quality plant I'm gonna toss it Rainbow belts are both smelling ridiculous. Super frosty. Good yield. One is slightly more frosted than the other. The zkittles pheno has pure Skittles smell with a little lemon cleaner chem to back it up. Probably my keeper!

Buds swelling and frosting up! Since she's been on mineral fertilizers, I've given her just plain water for the past week. Will chop her down next monday.

Very easy to grow in hydro, I did what I have done before, and did minimal defoliation. The plant drops some lower leaves herself as we go along anyway, as they begin to receive minimal light penetration. Northern lights had a shape that made it easy to grow with my light setup. The bigger buds were produced in the areas of the side lights, and let it also be known my harvest could have become a tad bigger if I hadn't picked off small buds and smoked them in the very end - must account for at least 30-40g or so, dunno precisely tho. The weed works like the usual homemade jazz, top notch. Top shelf. Northern lights did not disappoint, but I have pulled bigger yields of a White Rhino for example, made in the same manner. This is why it only get 8/10 stars. It simply lose two stars on yield, but the Rhino would also only have gotten eight stars, because it had deficiency problems on its own for example where this northern lights lady had zero deficiency probs - very stable plant. Recommended for both beginners and seasoned growers who are on the lookout for stable strains.

Starting to warm up out here, getting real hot in the garden. Blueberry is showing her tiny preflowers and they are looking nice and pointed and very female - still waiting on a pistil to make 100% confirmation. About a month of veg left and I'm thinking it's going to really add some size on in that time. Happy growing!

Day 85. Girls looked ok till i saw budrot !!! Sunset Sherbet went to bin. Was biggest from all ... on last visit i saw bird poop on her, maybe its aftermath of nute burn ... ;))))) Apples looks very long and stretchy by bud structure, in other words more bubble hash plant than for smoking. Purple is going nice and steady, just no purple colours ;)))))) Overall girls can go without care, but results will be small, they needed better light , forest overtook surroundings, needs good clean up, but its not my land ;))) Think 20-30 g each is around what i will get from rest. This little candy is very pretty, I think it should stay under 60 cm as it looks like it's about to end the stretch. This is crucial as the VGrow can only handle a 70 cm plant without removing the bottom. The irrigation for the feeding is working well, I can increase the amount if the pot feels light. Hoping it goes ok into flower, will try to add calmag to every watering from now on.

So the end of 3 and entering week 4 these girls are a little sad today as been working on finishing their little grow space which hopefully they'll settle into over the next few days. I have tried too upload images but no luck keeps saying resizing no matter where I upload from 🙄 The girls are taking off and I can see the difference in growth allthough they've been unsettled past few days 🌱 Still loving the aptus range and so am I its keeping these girls healthy even the topped girl hasnt really reacted too being topped 🌱👌 I will be doing some hst/lst with the other 2 this week as neglected them slightly as having the fastbuds testers all potted up into new shoes. Lovely strain, likes food and consistent environments. Hard dense nugs, very potent sativa effect, smells like raw mango. Will take it a week longer next time.

Transplanted from 0.25 to 1 gallon pot This is the first transplant of two. I will let these build.a root ball for 3 to 4 week and then do the final transplant into a 7 gallon pot. Installed blumats as well for irrigation. Crover crop added

This they popped after 2 days of being in the soil. They’re stretching but not too much. I have a fan blowing against the wall in my 2x2 grow tent. I have the phlox on 2x4 grow light on the lowest level 18” above the plant with an avg temp of 75 & RH of 47%.
