Sorry I didn't update yesterday. Been bending limbs down to keep a consistent height. Using LST and HST this time. Soon I'll be identifying which branches from which plants will make the final cut. I've been very rough on these plants and they all continue to thrive. But I've noticed a clear distinction between some that are fast growing and some that are slow growing, under the exact same care. Since this is a relatively new breed I'll be interested in how they differ at harvest. I'm noticing most of my challenge now is to get the branches all at a consistent height for the switch at the ScrOG net. The challenge is not among individual branches, but among slower and faster growing plants. This would be much easier if I had a way to raise or lower whole plants in the grow. Not likely in a hydro setup, water seeking its level and all.

Buds are slowly starting to fatten up, had another rise in ec runoff which I suspect is because she isn't getting enough feeds per day and salts are building as she takes up water. I'm fixing this by feeding more frequently for 24 hours at a lower ec (1.4) to bring her down to 1.9. Hand watering in coco is not ideal, the next grow will be done on a wilma system to allow for multiple feed per day which should also see even better growth. She's starting to smell great and there is some serious trichome production. Sugar leaves are sticky and the smell as the name suggests is like sweet blood orange soda. Can't wait to see how the buds smell after curing.

I ended up over watering while flushing from the nute burn, as i finished the flush i did a calmag feed and my deficiency got worse. Not sure what’s going on here!! But buds are stacking nicely and getting dense. The tall plant looks to be a week or 2 ahead of the bushy plant

Been a tuff week as my ph pen failed so had signs of defiantly But that’s now corrected so hope it didn’t set them all back too much

8/19 (Day 63) - Pretty normal/typical today. Have just been monitoring since the defoliation a few days ago. Environment has been stable, stay around 78/79 degrees during the day and around 73 at night. Humidity fluctuates between 55-60 RH. PH stays 5.8/5.9. I did accidentally feed a bit much and have been watering with just RO water and they have been drinking fine, a few deficiencies and I also lowered my light power by 10%. I may end up changing the res and water tomorrow just because I did mix my nutrients a little hot by accident and took me a few days to notice. Everything is looking pretty good thus far and we are getting closer to finishing! Pretty pleased with my first grow but excited for the second because I have more knowledge and have a few things that im going to correct and do differently. Will be updating throughout the week. Thanks for looking. 8/20 (Day 64) - Decided to just ride out and keep topping the res with RO water, Calmag, and Rootdrip. I think I added too much Calmag last week trying to correct the calcium deficiency I was seeing. Girls are drinking just fine and not showing any real issues. Everything is stays in check. Tomorrow is water and nute change. 8/21 (Day 65)- Woke up early and got the everything pumped out and fresh water and nutrients back in. Definitely over did it on the calmag last week by mistake but doesn't look like any real harm done. Roots and plants are looking good and getting big! All the plants seem at slightly different stages in flower though, not sure if its something ive done or just differences in plants genetically. All conditions are in check and gonna continue to watch them hopefully keep fattening up! As always, tips and recommendations always appreciated!

Only the tropicanna left. In a week/ couple of day I will harvest the lady. I decreased the addition of nutrient and the last 2 days I will change all the water in the pot with pure water (ec 0.4-0.5. The smell is strong and juicy. Tropicanna is at least x2 bigger than the strawberry. If all 2 plants were big as the tropicanna I have had issue with the space in the box. Fortunately is all fine

Cherry cola,the one we thought was gonna be a runt turned out to have the fattest,tightest,most dense buds. The bud structure on her is absolutely amazing,the aroma she leaves on your fingers is out of this world and honestly she will be one that hits the tent again. She may of been smaller but that’s only because we thought she wasn’t gonna make it giving she had issues in the first couple weeks. But she bounced back and thrived the entire grow! Highly recommend this strain to any home grower that wants a nice plant with even better bud structure 🔥 she’s definitely a keeper!

7/19 shes starting to fill out more around the top. I keep thinking about what she'll look like with buds on her 7/21 watered and took pictures 7/22 she has most her dark green color back. She was hungry for nitrogen for awhile and shes responded nicely

Das Topping hat sie sehr gut vertragen. Ich hab ihr eine kleine Erholungsphase gegönnt, bevor ich sie dann in den Endtopf umgetopft habe. Auch hier lasse ich ihr ein paar Tage um in ihrem neuen Zuhause anzukommen, um sie dann in ein paar Tagen nochmals zu toppen und mit dem ersten LST zu starten.

(The longest is from the end) About the ladies: Girls in coco Royal AK- she's drinking every single drop op solution and has literally exploded! I'm really happy about her training (top/lst/hst). A very strong strain. OG Kush- I don't get this girl, she's definitely not an heavy drinker. Speedy Chile FF- when I re-potted her into 6lt pot, some of my Bros hoped for a Baobab, what do you think?😂 (has some mutations, has a growth of 3 leaves and then 2 branches have joined together and the other has grown normally) Ladies in Soil: UK Cheese auto- I've broke a branch due to heavy crop. Lesson learned. Pink Doc CBD auto- she's growing good, finally! The only thing I'm worried about is that she will not grow so much, because switch is near. Candy Kush Express- A really nice lady, not too tall, good side branches and she take everything with no care less (one of the most "broken" in the tent) Special Kush#1- She likes her new pot, but there's something wrong (see leaves) maybe related to VPD or RU? I've used different techniques on this ladies, but the one I like the most is cropping the branches and the main stems and also broke the branches where meets the stems, to give'em more power, and more "space" for nutrients transports in sight of bloom! That's all mate, we will see soon for the next update! Day 70: I installed a Vivosun GrowCam C4. Day 71: Check the new view into the tent. Nothing to do. Day 72: I cleaned the tank and refilled it with the nutrients mentioned above. Day 73: Nothing to do. Day 74: I bent the top branches a bit to the side to get the light a bit closer to reach the lower buds even better. I suspect her to be finished in 2 to 3 weeks. Day 75: At the start of her day, I noticed that the AquaValve was blocked. I had to clean the whole area. Now everything is working again. I also cleaned the tank and refilled it again. Not much do do this week. Training is mostly done. Don't really have anything to trim as was doing it as I went along. Just need to keep an eye on her. She's starting to flower but it looks like dimming the light affected the stretch. Day 37 - some mild defoliation Day 39 - looks like she's done with her stretch but hopefully she'll grow a bit more.

Big Lemon needs a stronger dose of calcium in her next feeding. I normally dont have nutrient probs but ive never had to feed a plant this big and hungry 😯
