Its been a busy week in Fat Zappa's Garden, hence another late update. I am no longer concerned about the gold patches on the plants, there has been a little more since the past update, particularly around the edges of some of the leaves but not much at all and it certainly doesn't appear to be anything serious so my fears have eased much in that regard. The three older ladies in this grow are coming to the end of day 32 as I type this update, and have grown into fairly big plants over the past week or so. Despite having low stress training applied every two or three days they now stand around a foot tall. Not quite as tall as their Fastbuds label mate, the Wedding Cheesecake I am growing in Canna Coco and the same dry amendments, which stands an inch taller than these three sisters, but then she is nine days younger. These three girls are certainly more fuller plants though, and the past few days have seen the white hairs begin to appear, particularly on the bud sites, which have also began to turn light green, and the stem on one of these girls begin to turn more 'vine like' in texture. Remaining on a schedule of about 2.5 litres of dechlorinated, aerated water of PH 6.4, day 28 also saw the garden revitalised by their usual tipple being replaced for an aerated compost tea of 2 cups of Worm Castings, 2 tablespoons of Alfalfa Meal, 2 tablespoons of Kelp Meal, and 1 tablespoon of Bat Guano in a cheese cloth bag, and placed in a UK 5 Gallon bucket with 2 tablespoons of Molasses mixed into the dechlorinated water I had aerated for 24 hours, and then brewed it for about 26 hours. It may just have been a well timed coincidence, but I do feel like the plants have shown a spurt of growth since receiving it, particularly the runt of these Mrs Banners, who received her first session of low stress training on day 30. Prior to this spurt of growth I was not going to perform any LST on her cos she just seemed way to small but has really filled out in the past week, although remains a very short specimen compared to her sisters, and the Wedding Cheesecakes who are 2 days younger than her. I am starting to think something may have gone awry when I mixed my soil up, as the two pots which I struggled to germinate the initial seeds in, one which failed completely, have not seemed to thrive as much as the other four plants. When I mixed the initial mix into the 5 Gallon pots I did it in two batches, yet filled the all the pots a scoop at a time along a row so it does seem strange. I think next time I will mixed the medium with the dry amendments and castings a pot at a time to gain more control and see if things improve. Also, in preparation for feeding the compost tea I did have a trim around the bottom of the larger plants as watering has become more difficult with all my wires and tucked leaves etc, which I immediately regretted, but actually, like I say, the plants seemed to have had a boost over the past few days so I am happy no harm has been done. The lights are now running at the full 450w and set to around 25 inches from the top of the canopy. I have also increased the airflow through the intake fan, the canopy fans are both on high, my two 40 watt fans are now running on medium, and my AC Infinity T6 turned up to three on the OFF setting. My heater and humidifier remain on full on the environment has remained stable despite the ramping up of the light to full blast. Lastly, day 32 began with a top dressing for all these plants, with the larger ladies showing signs of pre-flower. They got heaped portions of 1/2 cup of Worm Castings, 1/3 cup Dr Forest Organics 284 Bloom, and a table spoon of Dr Forest Organics Veg dry amendments which I mixed in as best I could with all my LST wires etc, and then watered at PH level 6.4. I'd like to mix the PH up a little more between 6.2 and 6.8 but it always seems to come out 6.4. I will endeavour to update the pages for the two Wedding Cheesecakes as soon as time allows. Veg22, riego con 3.0 EC y pH 5.9, drenaje promedio de 5.8 pH y 2.6 EC(muy bien), primer riego con Sensizym para limpiar un poco las raíces, y este será el último riego de vegetación con Voodoo Juice, Tarantula y Piranha. Se hizo una pequeña defoliación de las hojas abanico más bajas y se volvió a ajustar el LST, ya van tomando la forma final. Veg23, creciendo bien. Veg24, se mide la temperatura de las hojas 22°C y se compara con la temperatura del indoor 23°C, con una humedad de 50% RH, la calculadora arroja un valor de VPD=1.24 kpa, lo que está dentro del rango óptimo. Veg25, hoy toca una pequeña defoliación y probaré también hacer un último apical en 2 o 3 plantas a modo de prueba. Al final, tomé un gran riesgo, y hice varios apicales extra y una defoliación más grande de lo que tenía en mente, tengo fe que resultará bien 😎👌 Veg27, riego con 0.8 EC y pH 6.0, drenaje de 6.0 pH y EC 2.0, se están alimentando y creciendo bien, quedan casi 2 semanas para pasar el fotoperiodo a 12/12, espero que crezcan suficiente para esa fecha. Veg28, un par de hojas de 2 plantas presentan mordidas tipo oruga, revise y no encontré nada, aplique spray insecticida, espero no siga pasando. A parte de eso siguen creciendo bien, quedan un poco más de 10 días para el paso a 12/12.

well, we are off and running. all I have added is rainwater. ph. at 7.0 this should be all they need, water when dry I will fill the buckets next week when the roots are a little more established. i was afraid the soils would be to hot but it looks like they are doing ok. check in next week.

This was the boss lady’s first grow. This was under a spiderfarmer sf1000 which did a amazing job. I’m really surprised with the light in a 2x2. It did wonderfully. Now to the bubblegum. Once again fastbuds delivers for us with a plant that does exactly as they said it would. She didn’t top the plant or do any HST just from a time standpoint for the originals contest. This one could have actually went a little longer, however we have cloudy and amber trichomes already, and we flushed the last week. So with the contest ending today, might as well let her come down. This was a great plant for a beginner like they said it was. Even without me standing on her shoulder, she could have grown this one. The density of these buds is down right surprising. Super dense and super sticky. She smells exactly like big league bubblegum chew. We can’t wait until this dries and cures. I’m sure it will be amazing. I’ll update this diaries as soon as it’s dry with the final weight. Thanks for looking!

Soleil, Chaleur, humidité et vent sont au rendez vous cette semaine 👌pour ma Orion F1 il manque juste une semaine ou deux de flushing et je pourrais la récolter. Ma weeding cake m'a fait un énorme bud principal et deux autres latérales, elle ne cesse de grossir 😋. Ma Mimosa et mon apple fritter (60cm) m'ont l'ai plus prometteuse pour une bonne quantité de bud comparer au deux autres (25cm environ) et mes cheese 🧀😁 me donne le smile, réussir des variétés à dominance sativas sur un balcon avec 6h de lumière direct le matin m'étonne moi même 😅

Bin mir noch nicht ganz sicher aber kann gut möglich sein das Sie anfängt zu zwittern . Sie ist so schnell in die Höhe geschossen das Sie einfach zu nah an der Lampe war und ihr es nicht gut getan hat . Schauen wir mal und schauen uns die nächste kommende Woche an was passiert.

Topped her more than a week ago and added some LST clips . She’s growing well. No signs of flowering yet .

7/27/2023- Prep Tent and system are cleaned and ready to go from my last grow. I have submitted my Journa for the Diary of the Month Competition here is to hopeing for good resutls. 7/28/2023- Germination Day 0- Seed initiation Well lets get this new Grow started.. So My Dad Sent me a custom Landrace Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Black African Magic: Black African Magic, Alson known as BAM, is a Sativa pure land race strain, It's classified under the Cannabis Sative species and its genetics come from Africa-the Ituri Forest in the Dmocratic Repoublic of Congo. The Effects are said to be Very Psychedelic, used for Stress managment and for better sleep and rest. This is my frist Land Race so we, will see how this goes together.. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. I also removed some of the water. 8/3/2023- Germination Day 3 Looking good stretching her leaves out to let in the lights 8/4/2023- Germination Day 4 Looking good a few days until I put them into the RDWC System and get this thing rocking and rolling. 8/5/2023- Germinaiton Day 5 Looking good will probably plant tomorrow if the roots are still looking good. 8/6/2023- Plant Day- Germination Day 6 Planted into the RDWC System today. Joy when they go into the system as long as we dial that in right this will now be a great grow.. Survived the hard part.. 8/7/2023- Germination Day 7 Everything looks like it is going good, she is showing some damage on the lower leaves from the over watering in the cloning machine but right now I don't see any new damage. 8/8/2023- Germination Day 8 Added the first Nutes today, to help support root growth and to help give there first jump to growth. I will take off the damage leaves probably tomorrow. 8/10/2023- Germination Day 10 She looks like she is on track the roots are starting to come out of the basket very small but starting. 8/11/2023- Germination Day 11 Cleaned up the dead leaves... Day 1 VEG tomorrow.. Water Change Day and first real meal...

She got slowed down a lot because she was grown during winter in temperatures between 16 and 20 celcius

The gorilla glues are looking better but the wedding cheesecake not so much. The cakes are going down tonight because i see a couple of brown spots.I guess this is budrot.The smell is amazing and its sticky a.f.So i see what i am left with. Cheers

Starting week 2 with lighting under Hps 600w lamp. All three plants growing very fast and healthy 😊 💣💣💣💣

These girls are exploding! Flower came so fast, they are all showing need for more phosphorus and potassium, while at the same time showing nutrient burn at the tips, Jebus, save me! Lol . Overall, no complaints. A few more weeks to go!

report on week 6 :) i think they stop growing now, so its time for buding :D i took a shot of a leaf, becouse im confused becouse i dont know whats missing her? maybe is just a light? i still have problems with hum, it goes from 50 to 70, and thats to much i think.... hope you like the pics guys? This week marked the start of some serious shaping! Did a round of defoliation to improve airflow and light penetration, especially around the inner canopy. Started tucking the stretchy tops under the net to even out the canopy—Tart Pops is loving the structure and pushing out pistils steadily. Smell is starting to hint at something sweet and tangy — can't wait to see how she bulks up over the next couple weeks. Feeding schedule remains consistent, and the girls are thriving under the LED. Day 74 (28/05/18) - 2 of the Girl scout cookies are looking very close to being finished and seeing all cloudy trichomes with a couple amber. I look for 80/20% ratio of cloudy/milky to amber trichomes for harvest as this gives the best medicinal effects from my experiences. Flushing the GSC and will be waiting for her to use up the remainder of her nutrients in the leaves before I chop, hopefully get a nice fade. One of the Stardawg girls isn't so far behind but being more sativa dominant, I expected that. May upload one picture of her and how she is getting on. The smell coming from the GSC is so potent and sweet. Hoping the smoke quality lives up to the smell. Not long to go now.

Day 22 of Flower! Did as much lollipopping as I can in a Days work.. will continue through the next 2 days to touch and clean up the bottom of the canopy. After that..no touching the plants..will let them slide through flowering with just feeds.
