Clones are ready to become monsters, roots are exploring the fabric pots, while tops are growing vertically and creating new nodes everyday. I think it's almost time to trigger the flip, I'm limited with heights and these babies will probably stretch a lot. One more veg week and we'll jump into the flowering stage!

Not much to report, DS1 is the bigger of the two, both smell nice, very frosty and lots of purple. Will update in 7-10 days with initial smoke report and dry weight. Thanks for checking out my grow! 👽🌳🔥💚 Update 01/26 - dry weight is 141 minus a few grams for smoke test. I don't find divine storm to be very potent, has a mild taste of earth, wood and nutty.

6/9 I can't believe it but I had faith. The transplant yesterday LOOKED like it was fucked. I cleaned it up though and left it outside. This morning it was standing straight up. Both transplants were! I put tarps up to block the wind tunnel between buildings. It's still overcast and rainy. Sun isn't supposed to come out for a couple poke days. Chance of thubder storms tomorrow but I'm going to try to get everyone in their forever homes today. Or at least most of them. I plan to light dep a few right in the 3 gallon. I'm sure I'll be updating this after I get some work done. UPDATE: I WENT OVER AND GOT THREE MORE TRANSPLANTED. THAT MEANS FIVE ARE OUTSIDE IN THE CAGE. TWO 10TH PLANET, 2 BLUEBERRY CHEESE AND A LITTLE PURPLE PUNCH. THE 3 GALLON POTS WERE RELATIVELY HEAVY SO I PICKED THE LIGHTER ONES TO TRANSPLANT. I LEFT THE ORHER TWO 10TH'S IN THE GARAGE WITH THE DOOR OPEN WITH THE REMAINING PLANTS. I ALSO ADDED WIND BREAKS AND SUPPORTS TO EVERYTHING. I WANTED TO GET EVERUTHING DONE TODAY BUT THERE MAY BE A THUNDER STORM SO IF I DONT GET IT DONE ITS NOT A BIG DEAL AND ILL FINISH TOMORROW. TRANSPLANTS WENT SMOOTH. I THINK THEY'LL GO EVEN SMOOTHER IF THEY DRY OUT A BIT. STILL HAVE THE 50 AND 40'S TO FILL. Took a bunch of videos but the don't want to load. I'll have to try tomorrow or later tonight. UPDATE: I TOOK TONS OF PICTURES AND VIDEOS BUT THEY DONT WANT TO SEEM TO UPLOAD. IVE GOT SIX IN THERE FINAL HOMES OUTDOORS 20s and 30 gallon smart pots. Still have massive plants but I'm going to out those in the 50 and the 40. I'll finish this shit up tomorrow and get all the girls in their forever homes and if I don't have room for some I was planning on doing a light dep anyway so that will work out good. I learned a lot and transplanting went a lot smoother todsy than before. I feel really proud of myself. The last Transplant I did break a few leaves off that I didn't notice but whatever. I used tomato cages for suppirt on two and bamboo poles and string on the others. I'll add the vertical trellis as they grow. I'm proud of myself. 6/10 I got a lot done yesterday. Six are outside already. Two are in 20s in the garage. I'm planning on transplanting the rest today or tomorrow. I'll update later. Accidently uploaded lots of stuff on the wrong week. UPDATE: I TRANSPLANTED THAT SUPER TALL PURPLE PUNCH THAT I DIDNT TOP OR HST AT ALL INTO A 40 GALLON TUB. ROOTS WERE DRY AND THIS TIME IT ACTUALLY LOOKED LIKE THEY FELL AWAY. THE PLANT HOWEVER STAYED STANDINGVUP FINE. I THINK THIS PHENO IS GOING TO BE A TOUGH ONE. LOOKS GOOD LIKE AN HOUR LATER. I HAD THE 50 READY TO TRANSPLANT THIS MONSTER BLUEBERRY CHEESE I FIMed BUT THE POTS WERE SUPER HEAVY AND I FIGURED I NEEDED TO SLOW DOWN AND THINK. WE HAVE THUNDER STORMS COMING TONIGHT. TOMORROW IS GOOD. I MAY TRY TO FINISH UP TONIGHT BUT WE SHALL SEE. THE GOOD THING WITH DOING IT A FEW AT A TIME IS THAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS OUTSIDE IVE STILL GOT A CROP INSIDE LOL. WHAT IM PLANNING TO DO IS EITHER LIGHT DEP THAT BIG BLUEBERRY CHEESE OR PUT IT IN THE FIFTY BUT IM PLANNING TO LIGHT 3 RIGHT IN THEIR 3 GALLON CONTAINERS. HAVENT DECUDED FOR SURE BUT IM THINKING THATS WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN.......of course videos won't upload and the ones that do are old videos. Damn. I need to sharpen my computer skills....and my growing skills. Especially transplanting. I suck at transplanting. I decided not to out all my eggs in one basket and left the 10th planet amd Blue berry cheese in the 20s in the garage. I pulled them out for light further but I'm ousting them back a little tonight. That way I'll have a back up if something catastrophic happens. I doubt it but better safe than sorry. I'm proud of what I've accomplished thus far. I've successfully uploaded my 1 minute plus video several times but it won't appear. Oh well. I'll try to load the videos tomorrow I guess. Just started raining. Just a light rain. Probably what fresh transplants like. 6/11 BEAUTIFUL outside. Today is the day. Most is done and I'll add the supports as trellis as they grow. This new grow space gets about twice as much sun as my old spot. The tar stops the burrowing insects. I'm getting everything out today. I just need to decide if I'm going to light dep that MASSIVE blueberry cheese or bite the bullet and put it in the fifty. Maybe I'll try to get some help from my cousin. Plants withstood the thunderstorm like Champs. I'll update as the day goes on. I planned better this year so I SHOULDN'T have an unmanageable jungle. UPDATE: WATERED THE 3 PLANTS LEFT IN THE 3 GALLONS (1 10th PLANET WITH GREAT BRANCH STRUCTURE AND TWO PURPLE PUNCH THAT WERE THE SMALLER ONES. IM GOING TO LIGHT DEP THEM. EVERYTHING IS OUTSIDE NOW IN A MIX OF 1/3 FOX FARM OCEAN FOREST, HAPPY FROG AND ROOTS ORGANIC 707 IN EQUAL PARTS. TRANSPLANTED WITH MYKOS. EVERYTHING IS OUTSIDE NOW. FINALLY DECIDED TO GET The MONSTER BLUE CHEESE I FIMed INTO ITS FOREVER HOME A 50 FALLON POT. IT WAS TGE EASIEST BEST TRANSPLANT OF THEM ALL. JUST LIKE AETTING A POT IN THE WHOLE. I DONT EVEN THINK THE PLANT NOTICED. ONE OF THE PURPLE PUNCHES HAD ROOTS OB ONE OF ITS LEAVES WHEN I LOOKED BUTVIT WAS STILL STANDING UO STEAIGHT. I KNOW SOME OF THE PLANTS LOOK DROOPY BUT WEVE HAD SEVERAL DAYS OF RAIN AND A MASDIVE THUNDER STORM. I BROUGHT OUT THE EARLIER TRANSPLANTS AS WELL. THEY ARE OUT OF THE SHOCK. WIND IS PRETTY HIGH BUT I DONT WANT TO ADD MORE TARPS. I THINK THINGS ARE SECURED GOOD ENOUGH FOR NOW. IM SUPER STOKED THAT TRANSPLANT WENT SO GOOD! Went back at 7:30pm. Some plants have a little bit of transplant shock and a little bit of burn but it's negligible considering they've been through a thunderstorm with pouring rain and extremely high winds. That blueberry cheese in the 50 transplanted so easy and still looks like it didn't even know the difference. I'll start light dep once I get a plan. Plants are recovering nicely but should something happen to one I could replace it. I'm interested in the light dep though and I've got a pretty good idea how to start. 6/12 The plants that had a little transplant shock are coming out of it. We had a thunderstorm and pouring rain the day of some of the transplants. Wasn't forecasted. High winds moved the plants around a bunch bit they are tough as hell. Everything is out now. Suppisedcto have showers the next few days. I'm putting together a feeding schedule abd setting up a spit to start light dep on the three plants I decided to flower early. The cage now gets twice as much sun as before. This is going to be a good year. Went back over and plants are perking up and doing even better everytime I see them. I took a video but it might not upload until tomorrow. I may start a new diary for the light dep. I have a few places I'm thinking to use for light dep. I need to make a solid plan before I start so maybe a day or two. Trying to upload again but I doubt it. 6/13 Had a rushed morning but I watered the plants in the 3 gallons as they were dry. I had added more soil to a couple of the bags. The top soil is startingvtj dry out but the plants look good and we are supposed to get rain so I don't really want to water if it's going to be raining. I think I've found my light dep spot and schedule. I'll update after I do something. WENT BACK OVER AND SPRAYED A LITTLE BIT OF WATER ON THE EXTREMELY DRY TOPSOIL THAT I HAD TOPPED SOME OF THE PLANTS OFF WITH. SHITTY THING IS THAT WAS ADDED AFTER THE THUNDER STORM SO IT MAKES IT HARDER TO JUSTE THE PLANTS WATERING NEEDS. I CAN TELL THAT ONE OFCTHE FIRST TEANSPLANTS IS STILL HOLDING WATER. I MEAN WE GOT A DOWNPOUR AND I DONT WABT TO WATER IF WE'RE GOING TO BE GETTING RAIN ANYWAY. IM GOING TO LOOK BACK OVER THE DIARY. THATS ONE GREAT THING ABOUT THESE. YOU CAN GO BACK AND CHECK YOUR WORK. 6/14 Glad I held off watering. It's raining today. Just showers. We haven't gotten any of that extreme wind we usually do. I have the plants supported but I still worry. Definitely more than I should. Plants are still doing good and acclimating to there homes. I have not started the light dep with the 3 gallons but I think I've found my spot. Once I start it will just be staying consistent putt8ng them in and out. I need to train them anyway. I have some research to do and a joint to smoke so I'll update later.

7/6/2021 - Trimmed lower fan leaves as they were being blocked completely, and a few tips were yellowing. - Continuing to lightly bend the upper branches so the lowers can catch up. - Bought some Gaia Green veg + bloom dry fertilizers as I expect I'll be flipping to flower soon. 7/7/2021 - Watered in a little bit of Gaia Green's veg fertilizer. - Foliar fed w/ DIY kelp extract. - Yellowing/browing on a new leaf, can't identify what it is. - Staked down the branches on the upper mains this evening to open her up for more light penetration, she was gettin' real bushy. 7/9/2021 - Trimmed out middle to expose canopy

Day 61 - 24/11/19 Stopped adding nutes a few days ago and decided to flush. only feeding pure phed water now for roughly the next 5 days or so and then harvest time! Smell is insane! buds look a bit small but full of green/purple colours. so excited to be at the finish line for this one :) all the gear i need for harvesting, drying and curing is on its way so all i have to do now is keep watering and waiting :) Night 61 - Update pruning shears arrived! I decided to snip one of the side colas to dry and cure. the smaller bits of buds came off the stem while trimming so i cant hang them up to dry like the bud in the video i added. ive stored all the trim from the Dwarf diary and the side cola for making edibles this week. got a nice collection going now. and i added pictures and a video to show harvest and my temporary drying solution. Next update will be the full harvest so keep an aye out for that. Happy growing!

Been feeding each plant with 2 litres once soil has dried out which is roughly 2 feeds a week. The yellowing and brown spots looks like its slowly getting worse even though enough nutes are being used. I have read online this is quite normal to see nitrogen deficiency close to harvest. I know I’m getting close and have been checking the trichomes every day and they seem to still be very clear and none turning orange.

Not much to report on these the big one stretched a little more and is looking promising, the little runt is still kickin. I've had to defoliate the small one more the fan leaves are just too big and thick and it is very compact which is annoying. Growth has been steady and everything is thriving right now. Might need to get a new dehumidifier soon mine is starting to shit the bed so RH levels are a little high with lights out but the heater keeps them low enough to get by at this point. Still feeding the veg nutes for the most part, I dropped the calmag and grow dose a little and added in a little bloom. I will slowly increase the bloom and decrease the grow over the next few feeds. The green buzz bloom doesnt have much N in it so I find it best to add atleast some grow all the way up to around week 5 of flower. Hope everyone is practicing their social distancing skills. 🌸 Lava Cake – Week 5 Flower Report 🌸 We’ve reached Week 5 of flower — such an important and defining stage in the Lava Cake journey. Both phenos are shining, evolving beautifully, and filling the room with life and energy. It’s a week full of growth, observations, and some lessons to share. ⸻ 🌿 Current Status • Both plants are looking healthy, vigorous, and branching strong. • White hairs (pistils) continue to thicken and spread — the first signs of real bud-building. • Leaves show some spots, likely a touch of CalMag deficiency. This is not uncommon at this stage, as the plants’ demands for calcium and magnesium rise sharply during heavy metabolic activity. To support them, I’ve kept the full nutrient recipe steady this week and reintroduced Aptus All-in-One Liquid to strengthen the nutritional foundation and bounce them back quickly. ⸻ 💧 Nutrient Recipe (Week 5) • Aptus Regulator – cell wall support & stress resistance • Aptus CalMag Boost – to address spotted leaves and support photosynthesis • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – reintroduced this week to balance the base nutrition and help recovery from early deficiency signs • Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal & Green Sensation – pushing bud development, resin, and flavor complexity ⚠️ Note on feeding adjustments: This week we removed Top Booster from the mix. While it’s a great stimulator during certain flower stages, running it alongside Power Buds, Sugar Royal, and Green Sensation risks overlapping too much PK. Too much of a good thing can cause stress, salt build-up, or nutrient lockouts. By keeping the recipe focused and balanced, the Lava Cakes can thrive without overload. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment • Temperatures: Lower this week (relief!) thanks to cooling efforts. • Humidity: Still running a little high, sometimes hovering beyond the ideal. • Airflow: Two 6-inch exhausts + intake, all carbon filtered. This, along with fans inside, should keep the air moving and avoid stagnant moisture pockets. ⚠️ Note: Higher humidity at this stage can invite mold or mildew risks, but with strong airflow and constant air renewal, we’re reducing the chances. If issues arise, we’ll face them directly and adjust. ⸻ 🎥 Media Update This week includes: • Outside photoshoots – capturing their beauty under LED light. • Close-ups – showing detail of leaves, bud sites, and trichome sparkle starting to appear. • Video clips – giving a fuller view of the room, the setup, and how the girls are thriving. ⸻ 🔄 Quick Recap for New Readers From seed in the Cannakan ➝ early veg under Black Series LED ➝ transplant into 11L fabric pots with Aptus super soil base ➝ branching and stretching under TrollMaster-controlled environment ➝ to now, Week 5 of flower, where the Lava Cakes are stacking up and turning into queens. Each step has been intentional: careful watering from below to build root strength, dialing in nutrients, setting up airflow, and slowly stabilizing environment. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect (and Not to Expect) Expect: • Continued flower stacking and calyx swelling over the next two weeks. • Aroma development beginning to intensify. • Slight yellowing or spotting on older leaves (normal as energy redirects to flowers). Not to Expect: • Full bulk yet — this comes in the later weeks, especially 6–8. • Perfect leaves everywhere — in flower, the plant focuses on buds, not flawless foliage. ⸻ 🌎 Closing Thoughts Week 5 is about listening and responding. The Lava Cakes showed us some leaf spots, and in return, we adjusted by reintroducing All-in-One Liquid while simplifying the booster recipe. Removing Top Booster avoids nutrient overlap and keeps the focus on a clean, balanced mix. This isn’t just about correcting deficiencies — it’s about preparing them for the heavier bloom demands to come. With lower temperatures, steady airflow, and a carefully tuned recipe, the girls are thriving. Every day brings more white hairs, more structure, and more anticipation for what’s ahead. ⸻ 🔬 Science Spotlight: Nutrient Antagonism One of the biggest hidden challenges in mid-flower is nutrient antagonism — when too much of one element blocks the uptake of another. • Excess phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) (often from bloom boosters) can interfere with calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) absorption. This can show up as leaf spotting, rust marks, or weakened stems even if those nutrients are technically present in the soil. • By removing Top Booster this week, we reduced the PK load and allowed CalMag supplementation to actually reach the plant without being locked out. • Balance always beats excess. The goal is steady, accessible nutrition, not maxing out one element. This principle is key to avoiding deficiencies during bloom: feed enough, but not too much of any one thing. ⸻ 🔬 Trichome Spotlight If you look closely at the close-ups this week, you’ll notice the first tiny crystals beginning to coat the flowers and nearby leaves. These are trichomes — microscopic resin glands that play a central role in the plant’s defense, flavor, and potency. ✨ What are trichomes? Trichomes are specialized structures on the plant’s surface that produce and store secondary metabolites: • Cannabinoids (like THC, CBD, CBG) • Terpenes (the aromatic compounds that give unique smells and flavors) • Flavonoids (contributing to color, taste, and subtle effects) Essentially, trichomes are the plant’s biochemical factories. 🌿 Why are they appearing now? In early flower, the plant begins to shift its energy from vegetative growth to reproduction and protection. Trichomes serve several evolutionary purposes: • Protection from UV light – the resin acts like sunscreen. • Pest deterrence – sticky, bitter compounds discourage insects. • Moisture regulation – resin helps buffer against stress. That’s why, right as buds begin to stack, you see an explosion of these glittering glands. 🔮 What to expect as they develop? • Density will increase week by week, eventually frosting the buds and sugar leaves. • Color will change: clear → cloudy/milky → amber. These stages are often used to decide harvest timing. • Aroma will intensify as terpenes concentrate, bringing out Lava Cake’s dessert-like profile. 🍯 The chemistry inside • Terpenes – molecules like limonene (citrus), myrcene (earthy), and caryophyllene (spicy). They don’t just shape aroma; they influence the entourage effect, modulating how cannabinoids feel. • Flavonoids – often overlooked, but they add subtle notes to flavor and can have antioxidant properties. • Cannabinoids – still forming now, but ramping up in mid-to-late flower. 🌸 Why this matters Seeing trichomes appear in such numbers this early is a sign of plant health and genetic quality. It means the Lava Cakes are channeling their energy toward flower defense and resin production — exactly what we want in a premium run. From here, it’s all about nurturing them without stress so trichomes can fully mature, delivering not just potency, but flavor and aroma complexity at harvest. They’re queens in the making — and with patience, love, and attention, they’ll reward us with something truly special. 🌸✨ 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. #seedsman420growoff and #SeedsmanSeeds 📆 Germination Week, 20-26 April 2024 20 April - Placed 3 seeds in a cup of RO water, put in seedling grow tent under 24hrs light at 25% power, temp 74 degrees F. 21 April - 2 seeds cracked, roots appeared. Placed into Root Riot starter cubes. 22 April - 3d seed cracked. Placed into wet paper towel. 24 April - 1st seed sprouted from starter cube. Main root exposed, moved to permanent DWC system (see pictures). Filled for first time with solution. 25-26 April - Let seedling grow. Thank you Seedsman Seeds! I’m very excited to be a sponsored participant and given the opportunity to cultivate during SeedsmanSeeds Growoff this year! The strain I received was Pineapple OG. This is a new 2024 release from Seedsman Seeds. Its genetics are a hybrid 3 way cross with Pineapple Kush, Pineapple Muffin, and Pineapple Express. This unique fusion results in tall plants boasting remarkable uniformity, and delightful sweet, tropical fruit flavors. It also has notably high THC levels (25-27%), 50% Sativa / 50% Indica, with harvest yielding up to 450g indoor - 750g outdoor /m2, and a flowering time between 56-70 days. I’m anticipating the upcoming weeks with great optimism. 📑 The Plan - use a Deep Water Culture, 3 gal system, as a permanent home. Apply a weekly feeding schedule using time tested blends of Terra Aquatica (formerly General Hydroponics), Botanicare, and Europonics nutrients throughout the cycle. Depending on the speed of the grow, veg the plant for 6-10 weeks using the scrog method of training. Then flip into flower where she will continue for another 8-10 weeks. So my forecast is this grow should be finished around 30 August. 🍶 24 April initial nutrient solution TDS 530, PH 6.1 🍽️ 24 April initial feeding schedule first 2 weeks 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient Solution EC 1.0 at 63 degree F 🔆 Light power at 50%, DLI 13 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using General Hydroponics, HGC728040, Dual Diaphragm Air Pump, 320 GPH That is it for this week. Thanks for the look, read and stopping by.
