I won't bother her anymore! until I stick a knife in her trunk and chop it down and smoke it!))

I started this week with lst to open the canopy. Also removing severl bud sights that will not be getting enough light and defoliated some as well. Next week she will be readu for flower.

End of week three and she’s looking excellent! I’m excited to be this so far along with a relatively deficiency free plant finally. I’m hoping these next 4-6 weeks or so are more of the same. I did a final defoliation today. Defoliated quite a bit under the net that would have been light deprived and also too heavy to where the limb would eventually flop over. I’m wondering if I should have defoliated more of the canopy. My thoughts are “more photosynthesis (leaves), more energy directed to really healthy and strong flower production” so I was hesitant to pull more leaves from the canopy. I did angle up the lower oscillating fan so that it would blow into the bottom of the canopy. Hopefully between that and maintaining a good flower VPD I’ll keep mold away. My past three grows it wasn’t an issue since most of the leaves were dying by now lol. The strains signature smell is just starting to develop. I’m noticing a citrusy/lemony smell.

I feel sorry for my plans this 2 weeks I haven't been able to look after them properly I've been working long shift with Christmas approaching there's no time for anything so I was pushing in a lot of nutrients into them and I caused a nutrients lockout .I have flush them out with just clean water at the right pH 6.5 and they are responding very well from now on I will continue to Baby them so they gave the best result possible within the circumstances of the plants. Overall this was a pretty smooth grow and didn’t have any issues with her. She was definitely a short and stout plant and majority of her flowers are rock hard. She did have a couple colas throughout that produced so fairly airy flowers but could of been because of something I did to her. Still very happy with the 235.9 grams of wet flower so far and while I know she’ll lose some of her weight, she still should produce a decent final dry weight.

So we're a couple weeks into flower now. I finally got my hands on a ph meter. Our water has a ph of 7.8 but with nutrients comes down to high 6s. Runoff ph was 6.3ish. I'll keep an eye on it the next few feeds and see what happens. Found a little caterpillar that had been munching on my leaves, no eggs that i could see so hopefully not a prob. Had a couple weekends where I've been away and girl has dried out a bit between waterings but she's held up under the stress ok.

i went to work like 2-3 days not coming home and she is nearly dry out to dead but luckily i came back in time and fix it.

Everything is going well it seems. She has really shown a ton of pistil growth in the past few days. I'm going to top dress with some buildaflower when it arrives this week, and then lay down some rice hulls. I've also got a time-lapse pointed at the Double Grape and will post it at the end of the week. Happy growing everyone. 11/15- End of week six, top dressed with BuildaSoil Craft Blend and BuildaFlower as well. Added rice hulls for cover crop. Also added the timelapse for the week.
