Some nice fall colors starting to show up in the fade. 🍁 I got some good trichome photos on day 60 which were mostly all cloudy with only a very few of them beginning to turn amber. I’m aiming for an uplifting smoke on this one, so I’ll keep a close eye on the trichomes from this point and harvest as soon as I see a few that turned full amber. ✅Day 57: No water. Trimmed off several fan leaves at the bottom that were dead or dying to free up air flow and make space. She was getting very compact and tight in the lower center. Buds in that area had no space to grow. I shouldn’t have waited this long to defoliate that area. ✅Day 58: No water. ✅Day 59: No water. ✅Day 60: 128oz of water. ✅Day 61: No water. ✅Day 62: No water. ✅Day 63: 128oz of water.

So since I had the mold and bud rot problems I had to divide my schedule of harvest and divide the product as well. - Healthy buds are ones belonging to branches where there are no signs of rot/mold. -Mid-healthy buds are untouched by disease but still belonging to a branch where there was some disease. -Last category are the salvaged ones, where I cut them from bigger buds that had disease or they were in some part affected. These 3 categories each have their own drying space and where harvested in this order to prevent spreading of spores and stuff. For the salvaged buds every time I removed a part with disease I cleaned the scissors with alcohol. I only removed the sun-leaves + penguin leaves and will be doing a dry trim for the sugar leaves later on.

Done. Harvested ALL on Day 72 - one LCC was very heavy on amber trichomes, one BPP and one LCC were what i consider optimum, and one BPP was VERY milky, like peak potency. very few amber. Interested to try them all! Total Drying time was 7 Days for both LCCs and 8 Days for both BPPs. I decided to do my first proper dry trim. For two plants i hit the spot and could just shave off the remaining leaves. For the other two it was much more of a hassle. They already smell way better than my previous runs where i dry trimmed. Also the colors are awesome for both plants that purpled. Smoke review will have to wait some time. Right now, all of them are curing.

Harvesting An ELEPHANT !!! And after 118 day from seed and 101 from wen she started her mix veg/flowering process, i cant say for sure but i am starting to believe that this auto world do veg, then veg and flower in conjunction for a wile and only after they a wile they move to a flowering stage completely but thats another post another day lol today was harvest day for this Auto Elephant from SSSC , and let me tel you she is a delight with huge fruits, so big that i normally cut and hang the all plant and for this i did not take the risk of doing that and getting bud rot , better safe than sorry, so what i broke her in smaller peaces and put it all in the rack. Now not much to do than waiting for it to get around 10/15% humidity and jar with it all. This one as you guys can see from the video , this is a full covered in trichomes BIG MAMA and touching her is like touching super glue or something lol i was trying to put all the colas in one picture , but is simply just not possible , they all look great so i selected 4 of them for a true back back ground <3 Thank you Super Sativa Seed Club for this opportunity, i fell like a champion no matter what with this 2 Mamas, much respect on the work you guys did on this Elephant As always thank you all for stoping by for your love and for it all, i fell humble and honored

2020-08-03 Had to add some yo-yos as the main colas are getting ripped now. I have had to mash the plant into the tent, it's hogging all the light from plant 2 but oh well, not much I can do now and the yield from Plant 1 will be nice. Running same nutrient ratios still. Plant 02 has never matured into a full drinker, plant 01 is up to a gallon of water a day and is doing great on 800 ppm. 2-3 weeks til harvest!!

Maybe a last time watering with molasses and then the next 2weeks flushing. Maybe some ice cubes to see if she gets purple, but i doubt it :D Day 107: its exactly 7 weeks since Mr. Pipi switched light cycle. Girl is starting getting purple.

Hi everyone 😁 Welcome back in another week update! Have to say girls are looking stunning 😍 frost it's almost everywhere. Trichomes on some buds up to 30% amber and progressing by hour. They are gaming weight on buds nicely as well. Aroma OMG I am sensing ripe sweet fruits, a bit woody and gasy. Runoff approx. 50-100ml. 04/10 Day 73 Everything going great. More amber trichomes, almost all pistils hairs are brown. These girls are almost ready. The Day it's just around the corner. 05/10 Day 74 Last watering, in the morning approx. 1.5l per pot. At midnight lights out for good. 06/10 Day 75 Uploaded 2 clips from last night. Trichomes are on point. Some buds 50-70% amber and they did gained some weight overnight. Just one more night of darkness and will harvest! 😎 07/10 Day 76 It's done!!! Harvested and trimmed. Did some minor defoliation, and added final nutes before flush. Although stunted in veg, the outer two smaller plants are flowering well, thickening up, and smelling dank af... the center largest plant is still dealing with some type of deficiency that's been very difficult for me to diagnose. It's still chugging along with lots of bud spots, but the kolas aren't nearly as thick and seem like they might turn out larfy. It's also drinking the same amount of water much more slowly than the other two smaller plants... kinda strange right? Ps. I kinda f-ed up the compost tea and fed it to the plants before knowing it... I let the tea brew for 72 hours and should have stopped at 48 hours... plants didn't seem to mind too much though (I don't think the center plant's deficiencies have anything to do with the overripe tea.) and don't pay any mind to my nute percentages, I can't deal with that rn 😂

Week 7 did not go too well. I believe I ran into a heat stress issue due to the lights and I also tried some new supplements to add to the res and I ended up with some type of nute lockout.....I think. Anyway, today starts week 3 of flowering and after some more research into nutrient ratios I came up with what you see above. Now I added all of this into 16 gallons of RO water (in the correct sequence) and my EC ended up a little higher than I wanted...1.4. I was looking to stay more around 1.0, but below 1.2 regardless. So I ended up adding 3 more gallons of RO water to the mix and got my numbers looking pretty descent. I was under the assumption ww was on the smaller side of the cannabis world, but this one plant, nicknamed "HULK", seems to be the exception to the rule. Hulk is now 24 inches tall....WITH LST. There is probably another 1.5 feet of branch that is basically horizontal. Well it leaves me in a predicament. I only have 22 inches of light between the 315w CMH and Hulk. The light is as high as it can go in the tent. Well I am going to keep an eye on these girls and hopefully we will see some improvement in growth. Last week pretty much stalled. Well I will check back in and let you know how it's going. Until then just keep it growing. Jan 16 update: wow, the Hulk just keeps going 😳. The runt is still giving me issues. It looks like heat stress but not from the lights. Thinking a vpd issue. Got a thermal temp gun so I am watching for that now. Also got me a wireless camera set up now. So I can check on the girls whenever and wherever I am. Love it.

They are stretching almost out of control. The lights are at their max height without modifying the hanging mechanisms, which I will definitely have to do. They still have another solid week of stretch yet. Besides that they seem fairly healthy. The runt (1/4) drinks a little more slowly than the others.

Week 7 of Flower- We have stopped feeding these plants nutrients and began the flushing process. April 4th we will give them 2 days of darkness and then April 6th we will start the drying process.

Week 7 of flower in the books and the Kush is in the home stretch. Pistils are all turning orange and buds are getting thick and resinous. She's got a nice citrusy smell and the colas are all swaying in the breeze. Shout out to Seedsman for these stable genetics. No deficiencies or issues that I had to fix along the way. Really happy I still have a couple more seeds left over.

Well uhm this week has been a trip and a half the plant doubled in size and started bleeding black and purps ! it's my first experience growing a black strain so please forgive me if I gush more than warranted. anyways, no defoliation for her, no training, no nutes as of yet, but she does have the slightest bit of nutrient burn on the leaves, it's not spread or got worse so i'm happy. Still watered her with my micro and beneficials mix and sprayed her some with my red micro and kelp foliar spray, she seems to really need and like the micro. Also she's drinking one more watering a week, that's 3 waterings a week now ! What a great grower so far, i wouldn t be surprised if I'm chopping her down in 3 to 4 weeks ! thanks for dropping by and please do drop me a message or a suggestion if you have any...
