The weather is getting cold.

22-05-21 (Day 8) Today begins a new week for the Kosher Cake. I must say that it has a very rapid growth.. Maybe it will be that I am not used to growing autoflowers and therefore for me it is as if it were a new thing, being used to growing only photoperiodic plants.. 🤷‍♂️🏻😇 I am very curious to see what she will have to give .. Week 5 already, thats why they call it fastbuds... In no time its harvest time! We had some bugs (trips) running around, i think i took them from outside as i was working on my garden, my outdoor plant is also affected, that happens for being a dirty old man 🤦🤷 but not much we can do now, i tried to clean the leaves a bit and remove some, but i think its better to harvest and clean the room as i dont eant any pesticides on the buds, but for the rest quite ok, we gave aome extra pk and bloom this week so lets see how the plants do next weeks 😁

SUMMARY: The OG has bounced back from the pH issues now after giving all watering/irrigation at a pH of 6.5. I continued with the updated GWE mid bloom nutes for the OG and Sensi Garden peak bloom nutes for the Amnesia. I also continued with some light defoliation this week removing the odd lower leaf and some fan leaves covering bud sites that I couldn't tuck. DAY 78 -------- Thursday 19/11/2020 I fed the plants. GWE 2020 updated Mid-bloom nutes for the OG and Sensi Garden Peak Flower nutes for the Amnesia. Although I only mixed these nutes and pH'd to 6.4 on Monday I always check again before and the readings had changed - I don't think my pH pen is the best (yes I keep the tip moist). I didn't have time to pH again and tbh after spending 30mins doing this the other day it can get to fuck and stay as is. OG (in) = 5L pH 6.4 OG (out) = 1.05L (21%) pH 5.7 [0.7 drop] Amnesia (in) = 4L pH 6.2 Amnesia (out) = 1.4L (35%) pH 5.9 [0.3 drop] The plants look healthy still with no signs of issues and are both a great colour so I think they're doing just fine. The OG has bounced back from the pH issues now and is really blooming fast, much faster that the Amnesia which makes me sad as I will inevitably cut her down early...I think she has the potential to be a beast judging on bud development so far. The Amnesia on the other hand...I'm starting to become a little disenchanted with her due to the very slow progression of the buds - I was expecting bigger buds but I don't think the genetics are the best (freebies from Seedsman). I turned the heat up to 25°C a week ago which seems to have helped bring the RH down. DAY 82 -------- Monday 23/11/2020 I fed the plants. GWE 2020 updated Mid-bloom nutes for the OG and Sensi Garden Peak Flower nutes for the Amnesia. OG (in) = 5L pH 6.4 OG (out) = 1.1L (22%) pH 6.0 [0.4 drop] Amnesia (in) = 4L pH 6.3 Amnesia (out) = 1.25L (31%) pH 6.1 [0.2 drop] The RH has been lower the last week or so and it seems to be due to the defoliation I've been doing every time I water/irrigate (removing a few obstructing/pointless leaves). I think because its such a small space the removal of the leaves has allowed for a constant 15-20% drop and so its right where I want it now at 40-50%. DAY 84 -------- Wednesday 25/11/2020 I watered the plants with pH'd tap water as my rainwater supply has dried up a little. OG (in) = 5.5L pH 6.3 OG (out) = 1.17L (23%) pH 5.4 [0.9 drop] Amnesia (in) = 4L pH 6.3 Amnesia (out) = 1.2L (30%) pH 5.4 [0.9 drop] No idea why there is a drop in pH of 0.9 for both when there has been a steady trend of it getting closer to the input value. But its expected to vary and 0.5 either side is standard I believe. The Amnesia is taking forever to fatten up, if it ever will now at this point. I know theyre only getting 12 hours of light but this is SLOW!

Major issues with calcium def for no reason and a weird re veg, and the utter lack of mould resistance. Plant was tall and buds are huge and dense, let's hope the taste is phenomenal.

week intel: its time for second pruning they grew up too fast and need second pruning as below : first i remove big fan leaves and only leaves then let them rest for 1 day then the second part of pruning will get done that is removing branches based on these conditions: 1-if the branch is very low and never can make it to the top , 2- if branch is in shade even after pruning fan leaves , 3- if there are too many branches at the small space then non of them will get resources so if there is no space for branch then , they must get remove. everything is perfect! stresses : pruning big fan leaves and lower branches + a little E.C stress around 1.7 once a week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 884 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster + Karbo Boost around 325 ppm - 0.6 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 213 ppm - 0.4 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week. guide of the week : no more stresses from now on till the end and from next week i'll reduce the amount of nitrogen and calcium to below half to the end.

N deficiency but it’s ok

Everything is going well. They are drinking good, they recovered as well, idk how but.. Let's go 💪

This grow is going to be testing my coco based auto watering setup. The plants will eventually be going into 2.5 gallon airpots which I cut to be very tall and narrow which I hope will give great performance for this grow style. Nutrient solution will be pumped from a 5 gallon bucket to halo-style drip emitters 6 times a day for 5-10 second intervals. I am going to try to use inline flow control knobs to dial in the watering and allow for slight runoff every fertigation. For lighting I am using my HLG 100 watt lights, one per plant. I am a big fan of these quantum boards, they have given great performance in the past! Thanks for reading! 🌱👍 May 13 day 1: the Blackberry breached after germinating in a rapid rooter for 2 days. I am impressed with how quickly this seed popped! It had no issues with stuck seed casings, which I find is the main downside of germinating in rapid rooters. I am excited about this one! May 16 day 3: Auto watering drip emitters are set up, and I am testing them to dial in the amount of runoff it produces. I also planted the seedlings/rapid rooters into 1 litre grow bags and began feeding nutrients. They are still under the humidity dome for now for the time being and seem to be doing well. Day 4: seedlings doing well, they are staying under the dome untill they grow their next set of leaves, then I will take them out and run a humidifier.

Start of week 5 today, everything seems to be going great! The Gelato OG is by far the biggest plant of the bunch so far but they all seem to be taking well to LST, HST , Topping & defoliation! Will be going in the flower tent as soon as the other ladies harvest so they will probably have atleast 2 to 3 more weeks of veg!

Final week of Flowering.. trichomes are looking milky very few amber.

Fattening week !! Alternating water/nutes irrigations... Gave the plant Top Bud, 2 times this week, using 0.5ml/l each one, but switching BIG ONE AND TOP BUD so: / -WATER- / -BIG ONE- + -TOP BLOOM- + -TOP CANDY- / -WATER- / -TOP BUD- + -TOP BLOOM- + -TOP CANDY- / --------------- Seems like @growdiaries did not add Top Bud to the database..So i let you the description below.. Top Bud : is a fattening fertilizer for the flowering stage. It maximum concentration of phosphorus and potassium and its absence of nitrates make it an ideal fertilizer for fatterning, while respecting the good taste of the crop. It is also rich in amino acids that benefit the development of flowers. Dilute at the rate of: 0.5-1ml per 1L of water once a week. Apt to: Its use in hydroponic substrate and coconut fiber. --------------

hace tiempo tenia ganas de cultivar esta cepa, de buen crecimiento y aroma dulce. muy buena produccion de cogollos y resina, resistio muy bien algunos problemas al inicio del cultivo en la poda apical y posterior LST, buena cepa para LST muy frondosa

This is going very well

10/15 This week saw a few snags. Both gorilla zkittlez girls are showing what looks like a Mg def i.e yellowing between veins and green veins themselves. This isn't the first time they've exhibited these symptoms. Currently the heaviest affected leaves are the lowest fan leaves farthest from the light. Aiming to keep it that way. I think it's pH swinging too low. I need to pay more attention to my feeds but sometimes I don't have the time to pH my water as properly as I should. The reason I say it's that and not a deficiency is because they are also showing signs of over feed (yellow leaf tips) only a one half-strength feed did this. There must be plenty of food left in the pot. I'm thinking the flip is gonna come at the end of the week. I'll clean up some lower foliage tomorrow or Sunday and let them grow the rest of the week. 10 weeks seems like a nice round number to me. Esta es la última semana de vegetación. El día 29 se realiza poda apical en cada una de las plantas. El día 33 se realiza defoliación de las hojas grandes que salen del tronco central. El día 34 se coloca la malla scrog. El día 35 se cambia el fotoperiodo siendo éste el último día de vegetativo.
