Week 3 starting off strong No nuts just yet still letting the Nector of the gods and FF soil just be my main base for nuts. Also I add some cal mag and PH balance the water. I will probably start adding some noots toward the end of the week when I start seeing some more growth. START OF WEEK 8 of the critical start of week 7 for the girl scout coockies. the critical is the plant u see first the coockies are in top left corner and bottom right. the midle and top right are my 2 new criticals who are still in VEG but i put them in the flowertent to speed it up a litle (the light is stronger and i got the space) when the flower light goes out i move those back to my veg room (bathroom uhum) 😅 nothing too special this week ill probably harvest the critical next weekend and let the coockies go another 3-4 weeks. the buds are fattening and i see the tips of those leaves have slight signs of nute burn so just water from here. see u next week (edit: lol the critical has major calmag issues do not watch those leaves shes almost done and surviving my heatwave torture tent)

Such an amazing smell of this lady and its only going to get better. Nice stacking going on and the colas appear fatter than the other strains in the tent. Nice and frosty too. She got little to no training, instead she was topped twice. The smell though! Droool!

She got into trouble in the dwc, root rot and high pH. As she fed, the ppm went down but the pH rose quickly, and due to being busy trying to complete my grow room, she was neglected for a couple days and started to turn yellow at most of the lower tips and leaves. All those damaged branches was removed and used to make clones , and a slow defloliation and transfer to super soil, she bounced back very nicely. She's in the first week of flower but official, 8 weeks since planted, due to recovery and reveg time of 4 weeks. It's 8-12 weeks for full flower period.

Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Day 25 Second topping 🤒🤕

These plants are tremendous! they smell incredible, cheesy and fruity, very blueberry and purple kush like. These plants have packed on some good weight this week, they look great as we move closer to harvest time. This week we watered with fresh water and a molasses water mix. We are allowing these to munch up the last feed worth of nutrients, and slowly flushing them to prepare for harvest in a few weeks time. Very pleased with these three 🥊

This lil lady is officially flowering. Half way through the week she started growing pistils all over. Switched the lights to 12:12 half way through the week. She recovered from the LST of tying down her top. Room has averaged 85° F / 40% RH with a high of 89° F Ordered larger oscilating fan hoping to get the heat down a bit. Been dealing with fungus gnats in some other plants in the house so I sprinkled ceylon cinnamon on top of the soil, to act as an organic fungicide, and sprayed her down with neem oil as a pest prevention. 💧 Watered: Tuesday May 5, 2020 with 4:1 Water to Hydrogen Peroxide. Installed 6in oscilating fan blowing at the light. Heat is still too high. ~85° average Raised light to 18in above canopy. Shes responding well to the LST and several nodes below the top have now started showing noticible growth.

How are you guys combatting gnats?? I’ve been sprinkling cinnamon, thinking of nematodes next. Gnats are the reason I was growing outdoors to begin with
