Despite slight damage by overzealous gardener with a weed wacker, causing shot through holes and torn leaves, the plants are doing OK. Supplemented feed on two different days with 7.5 ml/gallon Cytokin and 30 ml/gallon molasses. Had to remove visible eggs of unknown insect on several leaves (I hope it's not a beneficial). Increased but not overwhelming leaf miner damage. I need to start measuring these for height and width. The growth seems to have slowed but I am also on leave and observing the plants more so I don't know if it as situation where a watched pot never boils.

They were showing signs of Ca and Mg deficiencies and I increased my CalMg additive at 350ppm before I add my base nutrients. They seem to love it.

Day 16-27/12/21 still looking good haven’t got room in the other tent yet to remove some from this one but will in a couple days!!! Day 20-31/12/21 all looking good I’ll move half of them to another tent soon!!!!

Hi guys. Here is week 2 update, baklava seem to he really going for it 😍 hoping for big dense buds from this girl. On the other side the crystal runtz has still been quite sensitive to nutes and water Aswel as an ongoing problem I've had since day one with her leaves.

She looks so gorgeous, almost all of these turned purple Nugs looking beautiful Super scared of Budrot, will spray her few days with baking soda-milk-water mix. This will be the last week of feeding her , checked her on the magnifier she is milky like 90% Thinking to defoliate her to prevent, for more air circulation Start adding overdrive this week

Greetings fellow growers 🖖 and welcome to my first grow ever. This adventure actually started several months ago when I decided to stop buying flower from dispensaries and just grow my own bud. How hard can it be!? This is actually my second seed of this strain. The first bean sadly died due to over watering (sorry girl, RIP). I was literally watering the cube to the point where water was dripping from the bottom, then heavily sprayed the humidity dome and tray with the vents completely closed. Everyday. Multiple times. I never let the dome or try dry out. So after about 8 days of not sprouting, there was a funky smell of rot. So that was that. Later I learned that rockwool retains a lot of water and can easily drown seeds. So a wet/dry cycle is best for rockwool germination. So even after hours of researching and digging through forums and tutorial videos, I was still under prepared for this journey. Did not consider how delicate the germination phase is. Oh well. Lesson learned. Reset and try again! I hope everyone is safe and stoned during this corona crisis. Just like everyone else in the world, I want this pandemic to be over with. But in the meantime, let's grow some weed! 🖖 [START OF WEEK 01] Day 01 - Monday - 08/03/20 - Total Days: 001 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Light Schedule: 24Hrs/0 --- Soaked cube in 5.5 PH water for 10 min. Did not shake water out. --- NO NUTES! Only PH'd down to control the PH levels. --- Did not use the default hole (way too deep). --- Flipped cube upside down and made a shallow hole for the seed (less than 0.25" deep). --- Placed seed in and pinched hole close. No additional water added. --- Sprayed the tray and dome with straight water (5.5 PH). --- Vents are cracked opened a for ventilation (about 1/4 opened each). --- Distance between the light and tray was 53" --- AC was set to 80 °F --- Exhaust fan was set to 86 °F --- Room average temp was at 85 °F --- Dome humidity was at 85-99% when sprayed. --- Allowing to completely dry before respraying. - [2200]: Dome and tray were completely dry! Sprayed only tray and dome with more water. Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/04/20 - Total Days: 002 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Sprayed dome and tray in the morning. Everything was dry. --- Hoping for the best! - [2130]: Everything was dry again, so sprayed dome and tray at night along with a light spray on the cube. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/05/20 - Total Days: 003 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Everything was dry again. Resprayed dome and tray. Slightly sprayed cube. - [2125]: Hooo damn!! She popped! Am little stub is visible! Resprayed dome and tray again. --- Still going 24/0 for lights. - [+0033]: Just checked up on her and I swear she grew a bit taller! Getting excited! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/06/20 - Total Days: 004 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Wow! Went from a little stub to fully sprouted overnight! Everything was pretty dry again so resprayed dome and tray. - [2200]: Tap root is visible! Over 1" long too! Just resprayed dome and tray again. -- Going to prep for hydroton transplant tomorrow! Day 05 - Friday - 08/07/20 - Total Days: 005 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: She keeps growing! -- Added a bit of CalMag to the spray bottle (8 drops to 650ml of distilled water). Resprayed dome and tray. Water was at a 5.4 PH with 141 PPM. - [1045]: Prepped the bubble bucket with 4.5gal of water. Water is high enough to reach about 0.25" above the bottom of the net pot. --- Added 3 drops of Superthrive --- Added 3.5ml of CaliMagic --- Added 2ml Hydroguard --- Then PH'd down to 5.6 --- Solution Strengh: 120 PPM --- Water chiller is set to 20 °C - [1100]: Transplant time! --- Filled the net basket 1/3 with hydroton. When placed in the bucket, air bubbles are not visible, but are slightly below the surface (slight digging will reveal the water/bubbles below). --- Removed plastic on rockwool cube and placed in basket, then filled around and covered with hydroton. Making sure to block any light from passing through the net pot and into the nutrient solution. --- Covered with a half-bottle dome sprayed with the CalMag water from earlier. --- Hoping for the best! - [1300]: Raised Bucket 5" higher. Now light distance is 48" to top of bucket. - [1820]: Lowered tent exhaust temp to 76 °F --- Lowered AC to 75 °F --- Raised bucket even higher so light distance is 30" to top of bucket. - [2300]: Looking good! --- Sprayed dome and surrounding hydroton with more CalMag water. --- Attached timer to light! So new 18 Hrs On/6 Hrs Off light schedule. --- Lights On: [1600] (4pm) --- Lights Off: [+1000] (10am the next day) --- Decided to go with lights on during the evening/night and off during the later mornings/afternoon (the hottest part of the day) to see if temps can be controlled better. --- Please survive girl! Day 06 - Saturday - 08/08/20 - Total Days: 006 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Everything was dry. Resprayed hydroton and dome. - [2000]: Here first night cycle seemed to go well! Get'n taller! --- Dry again. Removed the dome. --- PH went up to 6.5 so PH'd down to 5.7 --- Ran the top feed drip ring for a bout a minute to wet the hydroton and rockwool with the nutient solution. ---Too scared to leave the top feed on 24hrs (I don't want over water her and cause dampening-off). Will let dry before re-watering. - [2100]: After closer inspection, I think she's looking a bit yellow. --- Decided to add a bit of grow nutes to the bubbler solution. --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 176 PPM --- PH went up to 6 --- I hope that the extra chelating properties of the 'PH Perfect' solution is enough of a buffer for proper nutrient uptake. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/09/20 - Total Days: 007 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Water dropped a bit (mostly due to evaporation) so solution strength was at 190. --- Checked PH again. Was still at 6, so PH'd down to 5.4 --- Ran the top feed for a minute to wet the hydroton a bit. - [0915]: Since she's looking perky but still a bit yellow. So decided to up the nutrient concentration even more before lights out. --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 199 PPM --- PH went up to 5.8 - [1700]: Checked nutrients. --- PH: 5.9 --- Solution strength: 202 PPM --- Added 4ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- PH after adding more nutes: 5.9 --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 238 PPM - [2130]: Decided to make a new foliar spray to address the continued yellowing. --- Started with 500ml of distilled water. --- Added 3 drops of CaliMagic --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow A --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow B --- Added 3 drops of B-52 --- Added 1 drop of Superthrive --- Solution strength: 164 PPM --- PH was at 5.9 and did not adjust. --- Gave her one spray. --- Also sprayed the surrounding hydroton. Week 1 - 01/01 to 01/08 2021 HUGE THANKS TO @MARSHYDROLED and @VIPARSPECTRALED! New surge protectors/heavy duty timers/the good cords. The Red Poison by @Sweet_Seeds is right on track with the Dark Devil and Purple Lemonade from my other diaries. The LSD is a little behind but the genetics seems to keep it small if you get the wrong pheno. Will give it a week or so for it to really settle in with a root base before cleaning out my 5gal RootPouch pots from the last grow and getting them transferred into their final homes. I have all my seedlings under the P1500 from Vipar as my veg light for the first few weeks to a month. It's SO nice to not have a blurple anymore, the light is way better in my room and on the eyes. The new diodes had every single seedling grow more in 6 hours than it did in the first 7 days under the blurp LED. The Red Poison perked right up and threw another set of leaves in the first 6 hours under the new light just like the Dark Devil and Purple Lemonade. I noticed a bit of spotting on the Dark Devil in my other diary so I added some Hydrogen Peroxide to the spray bottle and it cleared up. All four have been getting constant spritzing from the spray bottle to keep humidity up. Excited to see how big i can get the autos under the new lights, will switch over from the Vipar to the Mars by end of week 2/mid week 3 once I transfer them and give them a day or so settle in. End of week 5. Plants have grown a lot. Nice stretch last week. Nice bushy plants, make sure to do defoliation .these will take longer than the other FastBuds strains I have going at the same time. Lights and genetics working great

About 6weeks flower now . Lowered the light a bit and will start lowering the nutes from now. Noticed a touch of burn.

Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! OMG... still so much time yeahh! Today my Fast Buds Sour Jealousy and Sweet Seeds Big Devil and Dark Devil Automatics arrived. I'm looking forward to it. This time Fast Buds next Time Sweet Seeds. Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die.
